@Ill_Evan Meh I wen through this last year and at the beginning of the year, it gave me sleepless nights. But remember when you start flowering the transitional stage is about 10-14 days. Also plants outdoor don't receive 18hrs direct sunlight. The only girls i move to sunlight is the clones.... The oxygen in the water..... once I forgot to turn it on for a week in mid summer, nothing happened! Ill start stressing when load shitting carries on for more as a week at stage 6.

@PsyCLown "Too early can also lead to a possible disruption in your REM cycle" very interesting ever since I smoke my own stuff I dont have groggy mornings so much.
-
@Ill_Evan There no such thing as Indica gives me couch locked effect and sativa gives energy its all subjective. My same strain produced a harvest that i felt like made me lazy and my latest harvest is an energetic one.....same strain. Just like a wine, how its grown and at what latitude and altitude its all different factors.... my theory.

Spaghetti and meatballs tonight!

I pollinated one branch on the 13th Nov with Purple Haze..... Cant wait to germinate them! She is a bush full!
-
Week 6 flowering done..... Nothing much to see or say Loving my new "scrog rack"! Left plant the Purple Haze..... So far she is a pleasure to grow.. Strong growth and nice straight branches with big leaves. I do have noticed that she is more sensitive to PH fluctuations than the other girl. Gave these a trim today and made some clones!

@SuMi The girls look healthy man well done. Just remember they will double in size in flower.
-
@Ill_Evan Well AK47 is weed, maybe the others are some secret strain we dont know about... I would love to try the rocket launcher.. light it up bra!

And another one bites the dust! https://www.timeslive.co.za/news/south-africa/2019-11-20-watch-this-man-can-start-a-mini-war-raid-exposes-arms-cache-dagga-lab/ People please dont keep your guns next to your plants!
-
@SuMi Welcome bud... hhmm I would advice not to aim for growing the biggest buds, growing big buds requires 100% environmental control or you WILL get bud rot and mold. Send some pics

@Trailblazer420 Doing great man!.... I can just imagine how stoned you gonna be after your first puff!
-
@PsyCLown I let her flower for 12 weeks, what I ment in my previous post is that my veg plants going to be 12 wks(inc cloning) which is a bit long.
-
Week 5 of flowering and veg So far the flood light only veg seem to be bushing out nicely, just realized my timing not great as that my flowers still have about a month to go..... They are gonna be HUGE! lol
-
@Ill_Evan Ive had no more PH issues, guess I am back to reservoir change every week. Defs agree with @Mambawana you dont know what your plants have consumed, plus I think in my case the water looses ph stability in the 2nd week, Ive read once that CT water comes from runoff in limestone rich catchment areas.
-
@greenkush 50% lol
-
@PsyCLown I used to add 6ml to 20l of water every week with nutes change. Not sure if it did anything but this round I am doing without, so far so good.

There is something about a dagga leave I love!

Once you go DWC you never turn back!
-
@Ill_Evan only ONE res nutrient change!? I should defs get an ec/tds meter!
-
@Bakstein420 interesting.. I find that CT water is in general ph7 when adding my nutes ph 6 and stays stable" used to" haha
-
@Mambawana I planted her seed 18 September 2019, that generation 5 clones, 4th harvest, on average 270g per reservoir/2 plants in one tank. I dont add extra nutes when refilling during the week, just good old tap water that I air out for 24hr. Just not sure what happening with the ph fluctuations, till now I did not had to do much to ph corrections.
-
@CleanGreen @Mambawana So today I tested both veg reservoirs, both in red ph. So what I realize is that instead of every week nutes change I did once every two weeks. Seems like the water looses stability after a week and I dont wanna be adding base everyday and mess with ph.
-
@Mambawana Its my vegetative crop, have two 45l bins each with the same ratio nutes, only difference is that out of the four plants one (Purple Haze) is new. So that why i suspect her. Also the reservoirs work independently from each other.
-
@Mambawana Thanks man.. well so far I have done 0 on humidity and temperature of air/water. Warmest it got 26 and coldest 8 no root rot.Strong aquarium air pump on each 45l bin. My ph was stable until I introduced a Purple Haze... she turns the water acidic quickly. Using the cheap hortimix dry nutes.

K so after my scrog broke I have came up with the "Scrog rack" who can use a washing rack in windy Cape Town anyway? And just because no one ever posts a male.
