    digital timer and a few emergency lights. Timer governs schedule,its battery and the emergency lights Batts recharge when eskom is actually online. How the timers will help telling an auto switch over switch to not switch is going to be fun Sadly that's about all I can afford to do right now. Looking at battery fan options for some humidity control

    i do have some outdoor going, but really more of a set and forget setup. my major yield is indoor. with 4 plants scrogged to roughly a square meter each(height and area) i would probably have to build a greenhouse around them. nothing indicates lack of privacy like a bursting bladder, no housekeys and the realisation that nowhere in my yard can one take an emergency slash without alerting a toddler or its parents

    the 5.5 looks to be a happy medium, will run most of whats needed but cost wise i just cant do it. looking at a 2kw to run a 400w digital(or two) , circulation fan and maybe basic entertainment in the house. full timed circuit pulls 6.9a, 2kw genny rated at 9.1a, getting rid of the mag 400w will cut that load in half(measured, not guessing, they are power hogs) so 2x400w's, a circulation fan and basic tv router laptop style of thing i thought my 6 to 6 schedule would miss most major disruptions, but this is just a whole new ballgame. week 7 and daytime temps are hitting 32 because of no ventilation, then i lose 4 hours best case of my cycle

    lol, i reckon i'm a tad too far in for that, neighbours may notice 4 x monster plants waving in the wind at week 7. luckily my yields should keep me sorted for a while. dont HAVE to grow again immediately , but i probably will anyway

    Glad you recovered. Both issues seem to relate to stagnant water. Are you running flood and drain? My dwc chilli is happy af. Weekly res dump, fill with tap water and dump in nutes.
