I used some ground coffee mixed with maize meal for the ants last season. Worked well.

Just a flower update.. Going strong.. I must hold the boy back... he justs want to pack a bong..

I was gifted a Ex Cheese clone and in early November the little girl started flowering.. Early Dec she started revege.. Late Jan she started flowering again.. Unfortunately there was not enough time for her to grow much.. but the superior genes show.. I will update as the flowering progress..

I have a few plants going.. mostly seed from my seeded grow last year.. but this one was my first real dissapointment for this season.. I put a seed in the garden and just left it.. she was a power grower from the start.. She took well to the poor soil and grew with long internodal spacing.. I remember thinking that I was lucky to have more than 80% of the plants be female an no Hermies.. Her smell was fruity and spicy early on.. She was in full bloom.. And then I spotted the balls... And unfortunately culled it was.. That's how it goes..

Another story of the plant's miraculous ability for self repair. This little one's called Slakkie as a snail got hold of her as a seedling.. Again I had no hope but left the seedling as is for a week or so before it showed signs of life... Once the new growth started it was vigorous but short lived.. The girl was badly stunted so I never really thouht of transplanting her.. Her leaves always prayed even when the soil was bone dry.. She formed part of my girlfriend's care group.. something to have her play with and build up some experience.. And now this little one is also in full flower.. Another gram or so..

So I gave my girlfriend a seedling.... It grew slow and steady.. She did some dry leaf trimming while I was bussy with my plants... I heard a gulp and when I had a look se cut the stem near the bottom accidentally.. shame she was horrified. I myself had no hope fir the poor seadling but put her at ease and said it will be ok... Above all odds the little one recovered well. Now she's readying herself for a small harvest... what the hell.. She'll get maybe a gram but that is about what she smokes in a year..

I've been dabbling with dab for a few moths. Do not have a dab rig but have a beast of a press to test for 420 Extractions.. I enjoy rolling my own sigs so I smear some dab on my rolling paper and roll a sigarette anywhere I want and that kicks me in the ass everytime.

That's more than 10% of your product pressed.. that is a good yield in any book.. Good quality product yields better. I found that uncured semmi moist bud yields the best.. Happy dabbing... If pressing at 85, for how long do they press it for?

Yeah she looks better than what I expected after seeing the close ups.. Just remove the dead leaves in the bud. It tends to cause bud rot.. pul out the whole leaf. Your Ph issue in your tap water might be the culprit.. Im sure the more experienced guys will sort you out soon.. but you are so close to harvest anyway but will be cool to know..

Check your medium. Had the same happen to a exo cheese.. These christmas beatles dig into the soil and those fat white worms eat the roots I think. I might have it all wrong. But they die brach by branch. Luckily had enough time to clone before she died completely. Another theory is root rot but I do not have enough experience to say excactly what it could be. Examine the stem of the dying branch and check for worms inside the stem.. Outdoors can be a bitch sometimes. Good luck. @Totemic might have a theory. Its real shitty having your lady die on you this far in.
