yup that's exactly what i did. bought totes for under 300 bucks each (279 at westpack) , drilled some nice fat 20mm holes in a nice symmetrical pattern and use the lids as saucers.

I may need to move my qb... As I am using just the one qb in a 1.2x1.2 space... Very short of what I should have that's for sure!! But they will be fine... They are growing well, but I fear I may be slipping behind on some of the competition

Alright! Time to update my thread!! The plants are moving along happily... I did a large removal of leaves and nodes I have no interest in and hopefully they can put the energy to where I want it I have been a bit slack... And the plants haven't been watered since last week some time.. So I'm going to do that now now and get stuck into my veg room... Lots to do!! Even more to do in the flower room but lets not go there now hehe
-
Spot on then... I am just trying to figure out why the leaves aren't spread out and are dipping low.. Maybe you are taking pics when they are waking up or about to sleep?

i have a dislike for the granule calmag mixes... they are mixed not mixed in a 1:1 ratio more like a 5:3 ratio, but using the scoop to measure out always leads to the incorrect ratio of calmag. that's why i prefer the liquid calmag... but it is a lot pricier than the granules. or even a hybrid approach where the calcuim nitrate is separate from the magnesium sulphate and you can add them separately or together in the correct ratios which is 2:1, two parts calcuim nitrate, one part magnesium sulphate

LOL Themes have been sidelined for now so its open gates man! preference will be given to cannabis related pictures though that is some sexy wood though... what is it? -
i have found that if a large fan leaf covers a lower stems top, that stem stays stagnant and doesnt grow much and will never reach the top of the canopy.
-
the chemical i suggested will wipe those fuckers right out like a hose pipe takes away mud off a window...it would be like you never had them
-
yea, unless you have lots of veg space and time it may be benificial... but eh... it really is time consuming and revegged plants.... man its not pleasant haha
-
yea i have... by accident though. what tends to happen when reveg is over, is a crazy amount of growth starts to happen... it is quite a tricky phase to get through as your one plant that was sharp with 6 colas, now suddenly has around 15. so you need to be selective about what you remove. also it is not so friendly going back into veg... the cuttings will spend a lot of time in reveg before normal 5 spoke leaves come back. unless you really have no choice to preserve the strain other than taking cuts in flower...i would avoid it i am also running into little issues that i dono how to deal with... stems seem more purple than normal cuttings, thinner woodier stems. i much prefer to take cuttings in veg so i can avoid the reveg stage.. but regardless of issues i am having... if you want to explode your plant into having a bazzilion colas, then stick em in a flower cycle for 4 days and then back to veg... the plant will first shit itself and try stretch... then realize its been duped...and then take 2-3 weeks to get back into full on veg mode and by that time you will have a crazy volley of lower growth and new stems
-
sadly yes... even tho they are predator bugs... they are still tiny AF and take time to find their food... and they also get full of bugs and stop eating for a while to digest before they find the next bug... they cant fly so they need to crawl all over the plant which is pretty time consuming... like it could take 10 min for the bug to crawl to the stem and another 10 min to get down to the soil medium... and in all that time it may not even feed... for predator bugs to be effecient, you will need to create a mini eco system in order for them to thrive, and that will take up a lot of space as well... so like @ExoticCannabis2021 said, he will be reintroducing more and more until the issue is resolved. for a home grower, i dont think predator mites are the way to go for cost effectiveness vs reliability vs efficacy
-
what are you Ph'ing your feeds at?
-
no offense... but you just opened up a huge hole in your pocket there man!! those live goggas are not cheap...and at having to replace every 2 weeks... even with pollen flowers in your grow it is going to be hard... firstly the goggas may prefer the pollen to the goggas...secondly, why move so much when the pollen is right here already? you may just have super healthy daisy's with no pests, and your cannabis may still have loads of bugs on them that the predator bugs may no longer be interested in because of the lovely flowers you gave them

Dont be jealous lol
