Would you support a company because its local?
CreX replied to jordz2203's topic in General Discussion
very inclined to support local! and its not so much the price...but the quality. if you can get me a rolling paper that i can buy almost anywhere, that is high quality and natural , even burn and no paper taste, then you have my attention. but i guess it also depends... if its R5 more than authentic RAW, its not a bad deal... but if its anymuch more than that... then its going to be tough to support you know? i am a big fan of RAW because i only taste what i put into my joints...nothing else... no paper taste, no chemical taste,... just weed. if the quality is there then alternating my supply may be an option! -
i am in for sure! - dont have space for a single seedling tho hahaha - but were there is a will there is a way! damn flowers need to finish up so i can make space

Love it man... i cant imagine my tent without single qbs now... 10\10 for maneuverability and function haha. I do feel that 4 single qbs actually do not light up a 1.2x1.2 area as well as i would like. i am going to be getting a few more for the tent. maybe 6 a side instead of 4, and then dim them a bit so im not throwing my GPW out the window hahaha

Please advise: Is this Bud Rot??
CreX replied to PapaSpliff's topic in Organic Growing - Growing in soil
After the rains... You must go gently shake off all the buds... The water will take many days to dry properly if you don't do this... Which gives ample opportunity to let the rot set in and all the water soluble scents that you can preserve with a few gentle shakes. -
whats up man! are you going to be growing indoor or outdoors? Reason i ask, is that it is well into the flowering period for outdoor plants, and winter is approaching. That means if you want to try first outdoors, then your first grow may be somewhat of a let down. and indoor growing isnt exactly cheap to get going. Dont be disheartened though!! use this time to prepare your area for growing. Autos do not enjoy transplanting, so starting them in their final pot is best. 20l pots should be perfect. Either of those soils should suffice, maybe a mix of them both will good as well. the soild should have most of what the plant needs to get it through to harvest, but do yourself a favour and get some veg nutes and some flower nutes. Biobizz has a good range of nutrients for every part of your grow needs. End of august is the right time to plant outdoor seeds that will turn into massive trees without much care haha

So for the first question, I wouldn't cross pollinate if you do get a fem and male, well, maybe I would to see what the hell happens but I think along the lines of maybe inbred genetics... So I wouldn't make it my goal to hope to have a male and female. And as for hampering each others progress, you might find one to be dominant and over grow the other, or with a bit of training you could be able to grow both as is without trouble. See what happens man!
-
Twins are cool! But there is a possibility that you will have one male and one female! So be careful lol
-
i agree with @monkeybar, but those pictures man... see if you cant take the plant outside and get some clearer pictures in a colour spectrum that we will be able to tell if there are any problems
-
also, the pic isnt entirely clear... i cant tell 100% if you are even looking at the right thing. a lot of new growers often confuse stipule for Pistols. check the image below.
-
yo man, how has Loadshedding affected you? or have you not had any Loadshedding? most plants show sex in veg very easily. a pistol site here and there doesn't mean its flowering, rather your plant is reaching sexual maturity. if you have been having Loadshedding, it is likely your plants may have received a longer dark period than expected, and therefore preflowering .... if you are experiencing LS, then just set your timer to 24\0 and let them do their things.

99% is pretty good. Most tents leak light somewhere... either pin prick holes or through the zip or through a ducting sock . as long as you do not disturb them during lights off you will have a good happy harvest. As for defoliating, i can easily see the floor through your canopy, so if anything, your canopy is a bit bare and doesnt need any defol now... maybe in a few weeks as suggested

Hey capn, can we share the link on our platforms? IG and FB and stuff?
-
agreed, i have seen these first hand... they really are lovely - and the filter system you have, makes sure they stay clean. love it
-
yea they are, a friend of mine was looking for some in SA, but seems that there arent many forges in SA that are capable of high quality heatsinks in the dimensions we require. and to manufacture them, …well.. you may as well import the most luxurious heatsinks from Italy instead because they will likely be cheaper

beautiful man!! shit at 7 kilos you best not bang your noggin haha!!

it is very easy to over fertilize your ladies as is with the already tested nutrient solutions on the market. so as mentioned above, it would be better if you knew the ratios of the nutrients in the mix that you make so that you can adjust and improve on the stuff... but not knowing each product and mixing them together could produce much worse results than you were expecting. but if you do have a good understanding, you are likely going to mix something that will work well
-
i see a lot of other things mentioned , but not copper soap. i have had huge success after a single application of the stuff

sounds like you about to sell us something man... cant do that here...so just lay it on us...what news have you got about WPM control?
