  1. Yes, this germinating seed is damping off and mold is setting in, so he is trying to save it by disinfecting it.. Worth a shot
  2. They are both Samsung LM301 diodes, the plant living option uses the B version, and the modugrow use the H version, which are slightly more efficient. But 2x 90w is more expensive than one x 220w, and the H version are definitely not 40w more efficient.
  3. Depends if you wanna keep the bud or not. If not, you let it dry out till it's proper crispy, then put it in a seive and go until you are left with seeds, presto. If you wanna keep the bud... Then maybe deseeding as you smoke it may be easiest
  4. Pure is highly unlikely... Unless you work at a peroxide plant. The highest grade you could buy off a shelf is 50%, and even a tiny splitter splatter teensy weency droplet is enough to burn your skin very bad. Even food grade 35% will burn you very bad. If you used it as is you may have gone too strong and killed the seed.
  5. What strength is the peroxide? You want to replace the paper towel after the soaking in peroxide, normal tap water should be fine on the new paper... Going forward, maybe soak your seeds in some h2o2 for a few min before you put them into the tissue, that would reduce the rate of infection considerably. I would avoid soaking the paper in h2o2 as when it's covered it takes a lot longer to break down into water and may stay active for too long and damage the seeds.... A quick presoak should do the job
  6. 17 days from the time you soaked your seed, or 17 days since you planted it? Either way, that plant is way tiny... Comparison would be a seed about a week from germination. What meduim do you have it in? Looks barky.... Also a smidge wet, but I have seen better plants with worse watering so I don't think it's that. Likely root damage and it's trying to recover. Do you have any other plants on the grow? I would plant more
  7. Maybe a tiny bit... But that's all that will grow, inside the seed is likely mushy... If you have some of the explogrow like @PsyCLownmentioned, or a general disinfectant should help aswell, something like H2o2 in a weak solution... 3% should do.
  8. Yea it could be touch and go with the seed. That is one of the effects of a dirty seed that got too wet for too long. Usually called damping off. If the mold is inside the seed, it's done for... If it's just on the shell then it may come through this alive. The mold messes up the internals of the seed, turning it into mush. As long as your seeds aren't touching each other, then they should be fine.
  9. yup, @FreesoulGP, looks like you are indeed in the harvest window. the trichomes look milky to me so you should have a decent smoke if you chop now. Do yourself a favour though and try get something that you can get a closer up view of the trichomes for much easier identification. i have found that harvesting with little amber results in a smoke i am not entirely happy with. it is euphoric, but doesnt hit my quota of stoooooned that i like. so maybe if you like a bit of a stone to your high, hang off another week and see how it looks i used to aim for 10% amber, but now i like it a bit higher, 20% is good for my taste
  10. very good month guys! congrats to the winners and thanks to all those who entered!
  11. Bring the male back eh? Not cull it where it stands??
  12. Sweet write up @Prom! Thank you for this, you really did put it all together very nicely

    WTF?!

The time it's gonna take to reveg properly will disappoint you lol... The plant won't flower well if you keep them that small as well... Advice is to let them reveg and let them get bigger... As well as try separate the plants, each into their own pots.
  14. Both look like great deals... Your choice bro beans
  15. so here are 2 pics. the bottom one, which is poorly drawn, is actually the most accurate because it includes the depiction of new growth tips. often on smaller plants, you will see some tiny somethings happening near the stipule and most of the time, it is not sex organs, but rather new growth shoots.
  16. Trust me man... When you see the first stigmas... It will be brutally obvious. Or it will be balls... And you will hope your eyes are playing tricks on you... But it too will be brutally obvious once the sex organs grow
  17. I just see stipule's and no sign of any Stigma yet. You need to give it a few more days in the flower cycle in order to know
  18. The plant may need a few more days in a flower light cycle yo. That plant has just started growing alternating nodes which indicates the start of sexual maturity. you busy checking out an underage lady brahzoh!!
  19. check out my signature. i have a whole post about teas that you might enjoy
  20. you can give your garden teas as often as you want. the idea being to establish colonies of beneficial bacteria in the root zone. so while i agree with myself about as often as you want, i must advise that you try diversify your teas. get soil from different areas of your neighborhood, local forest or a well growing plant on the side of the road. diversity is key if you want to succeed with microbes

    Mainline

Yes, Magnesium sulphate(Epsom Salts) is what you need. it is like @PsyCLown mentioned, if you have some CalMag laying around then that will work in a pinch. But it does contain Calcuim Nitrate which could push your nitrogen up a bit high.
  22. check under the leaves, looks green and healthy to me.

    WTF?!

yo, that looks 100% genetic. check the colour of the petiole, green AF, as well as the new growth. its probably just a different strain man. it also looks like it is in the early stages of reveging the plants look good otherwise, keep it up
