  1. @DamDave, I would get more info on them and read some constructive criticism about them, reviews and such. I would consider the options the forum offers before going with that light. It does look a bit more decent than a standard blurple... But in saying that, it is just not that many leds and you might need a few to make it worth your while. 4 grand can get you some very decent lights that are proven to be head and shoulders above most internet bought lights
  2. Never heard of it before. How high was it above your plants? Before you raised it
  3. @DamDave, you would be surprised at how resilient the plant is!! The wind, as long as it's not folding the plants over, is actually a huge benifit to the plant - winds strengthen the load bearing stems so that in late flower they can better hold up big dense buds!! And as for the sun, you will not find a better source of food for your baby, light is a plants food. Most likely is that led that was too close to the light.
  4. So slick man. I can imagine fine tuning being taken to a whole new level
  5. nice man! sounds like a recipe for success
  6. @awildmeme welcome son! you will find yourself right at home here! Hit us up with some deets on your grow specs - what light you using and nutes and meduim and stuff haha take a look around! the site has so many wonderful avenues
  7. CMH with LEP is one day lights for me. Till then I'm on the cheap cheap running costs
  8. do it!!! just a few mm deep, nothing crazy i was topping up the saucer every morning because the it was dry - but never from the top of the jiffy unless the jiffy is obviously dry
  9. due to the length of this post - i went back 2 pages and may have missed your tray and jiffies post or not gone back far enough haha hows about a new one?
  10. @zolrooker, does your powersupply dim? reach out to @Master_G to see if you can reduce the wattage of your light by a bit ...that will help a lot with your temps too go check my current grow out and see how my jiffies work - i have a bowl or saucer works fine too, and i make sure the saucer never gets dry, always keep 2 or 3 mm of water on the saucer and have not lost a seed since i tried this - i wet the whole jiffy on day 1, then just make sure the saucer stays wet and the coco wicks up the water to create the perfect environment
  11. i was having a look at this thread from the starting your own grow section - lol - this thread has properly blown up and become one of the most popular and most frequented topics on the whole forum!!! well done mate, you are well on your way to becoming green fingered hooligan like the rest of us!
  12. no stress home slice - risk is real! most of us would not be as open as we are if the laws still firmly opposed it, and im sure when they provide us with guidelines there will be many more who will brave this mighty plant!
  13. i get the whole discreet vibe lol - i too used to be a discreet grower but i didnt have much in the way of foot traffic during the day and it was acceptable for me to leave the cupboard open during the day. but if i had visitors, it was easy to close up and be discreet again
  14. or if you can, leave your tent open when lights are on?
  15. welcome mate! enjoy the site take a look around meet new peeps haha!
  16. i found the comments quite informative, not so much the article unfortunately his approach to myco's is not as simple as "you should already have so adding more is futile" i would consider this guys opinion if i was a much more experienced grower and i knew for a fact that my myco system is on point if you are in doubt - it seriously is one of the cheaper additives - just add some in - it will not hurt i know this is in the soil section. but mycos in coco and hydro is very important in my opinion and everyone should have a tub of the stuff laying around
  17. What about this being a hit? It's one thing to jack all their shit... But it's another thing to pull the trigger and end a life. And to go back after the looting to do the shooting... Sounds pretty hairy to me
  18. How fresh is the manure you are using? And what ratio of poop to the rest of the stuff did you add?
  19. Yea dude, always down to learn something new. See if you can find some shiz when you have a gap
  20. I think you're gonna need to explain this better... Humidity is the amount of moisture the air can hold. I have to disagree with you about having a tent that's 100% humid, with a meter reading 50%... One of the meters is lying lol The only way that's possible is if your RH sensor is right by your intake and gets the fresh air blowing over it always while another sensor is buried deep in your canopy... But either way... You gonna have issues if your meters are allowing that kind of descrepency in a tented environment
  21. I agree with @StickyD420 about the phosphorus def and with @Prom about the nute burn. But it just doesn't add up completely in my head. We do need more info - especially on the new growth. Im suspecting that there is a lock out happening or a poorly developing root system/root issues. Im almost tempted to say flush well and add light nutes to the next feed. Let's see what others say
  22. Oh dear! Looks like you could be possibly correct! Although, not sure what soil that is. If it is too fresh you could experience issues like you are. I would stop further watering, and just leave her in the sun for a few days. Don't give her anything else at all for a few days. And see what happens...
