  1. Yo man! That's a decent idea... It will save you one or so transplants. How are you sexing them?
  2. You are right man! Higher humidity in veg is more desirable than low RH in veg. @Newbe_2020 But neither are crazy detrimental in veg... Only if you are hitting 100 or 0 should you need to worry. Keep between 40 and 70 and the plant should be fine
  3. The stuff master G is putting out on the market seems to be turning heads I'll bet you won't be disappointed
  4. That dilution is fine for the plants... Will work wonders. And weed likes a good wet to dry cycle. So you can rather err on a day later to water than a day sooner.
  5. If that's the only condition, then you have yourself a deal!!!
  6. Im also looking at sweet seeds. Those bois really kitted you out with some very decent genetics! That red mandarin really has me drooling!!
  7. @Danknice going on those beans! Iv made a few crosses with an auto flower mother and photo period pollen... So far I haven't found an auto flowering plant. But from what my research tells me... You should have a 25% retention of the auto gene... So maybe I'm just unlucky
  8. Hortimix has a product called MPK which is supposed to help with flowering But much More terps and tricomes could be found by playing with light timings closer to the end of flower, like 11/13 or 10/14
  9. I have a friend in CT who ordered a light a few weeks back, but said she killed the seedlings. Would you consider that? Or want an experienced home?
  10. On growdiaries or here? Get those mofos interested in the forum haha!
  11. Are you being super cereal right now? Where are you based again?
  12. Yo man! I am busy selecting plants to take forward to the next flower round and I have some that won't fit my space. If you're keen then they are yours... I'm also in midrand area. Hit me up with a PM if you're interested
  13. That red mandarin sounds befok!! They all are amazing sounding dude You gonna start a new diary with them?
  14. Dude you crack me up had a good lag now at your thread with how many times you replied to the range question haha Love it! So amped to watch your orange Kush cake! Do you have cuttings?
  15. This could just be a pheno expression on its own. we only look for more favorable phenos, strong stems, big buds, frosty, thin or fat leaves, long petiole, pest resistant.... They are all expressions and there are likely hundreds or thousands of minute differences that we don't notice. So it would be nice if the breeders gave a direction to look in... But it would just be a rough guideline and no promises can be made Also, it would make selling seeds harder because people would only buy seeds that can produce the best of the best... And so strains that aren't visually appealing to grow or grow weird will be completely avoided - even though the smoke report would melt your face. But in saying that... Most breeders do have an info line somewhere, either Facebook or Instagram or a website that you could ask those questions "what do you recommend I look out for"
  16. @afternoon blazer yo dude! dont get disheartened! these guys have all been where you are and are just honesty trying to give you a realistic view of what will happen. @Totemic raised a very important note about being religious with taking the plant inside everyday and outside everyday - at the same time everyday - for the remainder of the plants life. if you give them as much sun as possible during the day and an area that does not get disturbed by light AT ALL EVER at night you should end up with something that will be a bit better than your average corner shwagg and do yourself a flavour - buy even just one seed of a particular cultivar - even the cheaper seeds are better than bagseed. i would keep your seeds going none the less, give them all the sun you can possibly give them. and then into darkness at night. the days are pretty short currently which is fine for flowering. i would even consider not running a veg period. what this means for you is a shorter day period and a longer night cycle. probably close to 10:14 . if i were you, i would take your plants inside at night and keep them pitch black from tonight even. the plants will be smaller, but will still be decent enough to be proud of.

awesome news man! glad i could help
  18. Agreed, it definitely is the wrong unit to measure in... But it is still a great indicator as to how intense your lighting is... One thing par and lumens have in common is the further away from the light source you go, the lower your reading becomes. And I really doubt you will be hitting high par, with a low comparison lux reading. Just saying it's an indicator
  19. He is using a free app on his phone - decent enough to give a basic idea about the light intensity. 5000lux is quite a bit on the low end though... It will keep the plants in veg... But won't be enough for decent veg or average veg. So the basic guide from the phone tells him that his lights are too weak, regardless of par. Not everyone can afford an apogee ay
  20. Welcome man! Go on! Give is a peek of your lovely *TOMAAAATOES*
  21. @oldsandals what a trip man!! really really digged going through this thread. Some of those sativas are so bare all the calyx are separated!!! Truely amazing how far the cannabis plant has come where you can find a wonderful indica looking plant thats totally sativa in high. thanks for this man! Subbed!
  22. Wait until the pots are light light again. You can dig your finger into the meduim a bit when you think it's a bit dry to feel if the coco is in fact dry... But I like a feel weight test... Lift the pot up... If it's light... Give a tiny bit of water... The plants haven't even sprouted yet so they need practically zero water... One cup a week should be more than enough at this stage. They will grow well in the full sun. As soon as they break the surface I would remove those humidity domes and let them get full sun.
  23. @TotemicI was thinking about leca for this purpose... But I'm not sure it would have the same effect being much much more porous than terracotta. It also floats so getting it thoroughly wet might take some getting used to. And the shake off of excess water will need to be done very well as the large porous bubbles could hold water in one direction, but the water will drip out in another direction... Leca is also very soft... Fairly easy to crush a ball between your thumb and index. So even though it is made of a similar clay substance... I don't think it would accomplish the rehydrate they way you want it to
