It is just terracotta pressed into a pretty shape... Im sure you could also DIY this with a few pieces of a broken terracotta pot Or I saw some powder you can mix to make your own terracotta humidity stones into custom shapes... That soinds cool too
-
I also would use them in conjunction with a hydrometer... But ay... I do that with bovidas too haha I'm trying to find info about it absorbing moisture... But I can't find anything. Seems it wants to get gry again and it's value is more in a slow release of moisture. So ideally for daily stash usage... Or a quick fix for dry weed... Might even make your guys daily cigarettes taste better too if you kept a ciggie container

Nice find man! Please do keep us posted on how they work. Hell... I'm even going to to do alil research on them to see what's up because I can't imagine a piece of clay costing 3 arms and a couple of toes!

Strange... Maybe lower the wattage a bit. Mine are set to about 75w each, zero heatsink, and a small pc fan blowing on it and the light is just above room temps

The rule of every few days is marginally flawed. It works to a point and as a very rough guide. A more accurate approach would be to do the pickup test... You are running coco so it's real easy... The coco pots will literally be light as fuck... Almost no weight at all... That's when you know you need to water them. When the plants are small like that... One cup of water is enough for a very long time, what size pots are those? And take the twisty tie off not sure why it's there... Be careful not to damage the fragile stem when taking it off. If it's LST, the plant has to have a few nodes before it will be effective... What you are doing is just making the stem skew because you have tied the plant at the bottom. Lst's purpose is to bring the top of the plant lower... Exposing lower growth shoots to more direct light.

My 2c is that all your pots are way to wet... The below Pic is gonna need like 2 weeks before it's next feeding or watering.... And it looks like they are all pretty wet Stop watering lol

You bastard!!! Your autos are entering flowering already!? Fuck this... I'm gonna get a small handful of autos and give them a go... You can't keep out shining us all like this man
-
Gotta get the right strain and pheno bro! I get so disappointed when I spend all this time growing the bud, only for it to turn out airy, or leafy, or not dense... If you got the right high yielding pheno from your favorite strains... 500g in that space should be a piece of cake

CalMag is most often a premixed calcuim nitrate magnesium sulphate Are you referring to calmag? Or where do you get your calcium nitrate separate?
-
Yea man welcome!! Always good to have some additional experience brought to the table!! What have you got on the grow at the moment? And maybe hit us up with some pics of your protégé
-
Hehehe okay... My limited abuse would be to change those damn cfls!!!! @Promhas very good success with SOG and auto flowers, but he is using some performance grow lights too. What is your budget? You need to consider what meduim you want to grow in, what lights will get you through flower, and what nutrient will be your source. My small 2c is to make sure you have a light that can do what you want it to do. Light gives the plant energy to use the nutrients you provide and make food. Imagine a body builder who is trying to bulk up, but isn't eating any food But welcome man! Enjoy the site!

So to understand what you are doing with topping, you need to remember that even though the plant is alive, you aren't chopping off its head with this maneuver lol. There is no hard and fast rule as to where you must top... This comes with experience... One day you will just walk by and realize a lady needs a snip and just do it! You can top the plant right down to the first node if you really wanted to... Don't... But I'm just saying it would be fine... The trick comes more about which lower nodes have decent enough shoots, you want to make your snip as low as you can! Without cutting off the lower stems you want to promote. So even if the nodes alternate like you are experiencing, you are just looking for lower growth that looks good enough to become a main Cola... And that method you have about topping at the 5th node is wrong... Or atleast the way you interpret it is wrong. On a seed grown plant, you would want to wait for the plant to have atleast 5 nodes, before topping the plant.... Likely at the 3rd node or lower even, depending how the lower growth has grown. Lemi know if this has helped you alil and feel free to ask questions to gain a better understanding. And don't worry about killing them... As long as you leave a leaf or 3 on the cutting.... The plant will survive

I bought a bag last year sometime, but I mixed it out into more garden soils. I noticed quite a lot of slow release ferts in it that, as you said @SkunkPharm, might take a few grows to fully consume
-
Yea man! Ofcoarse you can reuse your grow meduim! But I would maybe buy a new cycle of soil if you want and put your used soil in a pile and re-ammend them with various things. Let it sit for a the whole grow, and then you could use it for your next grow, doing the same with your newer soil. @SkunkPharm knows his shit, maybe he can help out

Nice work man! The plant looks great!! Not too sure how you managed over 200g from her though. Very impressive if you did. Most indoor plants trained for 6 weeks wouldn't even hit half of your yield! So good job bro

@skullpillwhat's up man! Welcome to the forum! I saw you posted a cool grow report under the outdoor section! Thanks for that man really cool! Welcome to the site and may you grow many nugs of gold haha. What are you currently growing?

They have an email address a number, and an address listed on their site. Reverse looking up the deets in Google reveals that it seems legit. Pretty ballsy of them with their naming, but I would give them a go as they aren't offering anything out of the ordinary to raise any suspicious vibes.

Is your tank water brown? That cutting won't make it sadly... The bacteria and shit in the water will rot the stem tip... Cloning needs sterile water or you run the risk of losing cuttings
-
Don't stress bro, we all go through this stage hehe. A lot of new growers mother their plants to an early grave hehe but it's all part of the learning process bud!
