Why are you spraying pestaside on the plants still? I thought you sprayed already? One application should be more than enough for the little things plants ... I would even spray that shiny layer off the leaves with some clean water. On little plants like this that have a small amount of leaves, I just squash all the bugs I can see and it seems good enough. I would rather avoid spraying your babies with anything while so young

I had carpets in my garage... Bottom line is that if nothing is heating the room up, a carpet isn't going to raise or maintain the Temps better. Insulate the room as best you can to prevent the escape of warm air.

French cookies are the densest tackiest heaviest nugs in the tent right now and have the fewest dark pistols still... Keen to see what happens, the current smell is very garlic and vampire warding smells lol
-
Aurora Kush are the tallest in the tent by a long shot... Not as frosty as the others, but certainly a high yeilder!!

So here we go again! Here is a Pic that best describes my grow... And a few closeups. Things are getting interesting! Only a few more weeks before it's chop chop!!

At the moment I have 2 large totes, one with soil and one with coco... I like the coco more to be honest, but I'm getting decent results in the soil as well. But yea, large beds of whatever is the way! Just expensive to buy 400l of craft soil VS relatively cheap to buy 400l of coco.

Either way, I have found that larger beds are an amazing wonder... I am hoping to convert to a single large bed for all my plants 1.1mx2.0m about 30cm deep With the larger buckets I'm using this round, I have had fewer issues than ever and watering is really quick. Might even convert to a system like @PsyCLown with all his carrots

I get like that too... Currently my tent smells like old peanutbutter bread until I get in there On the up side... If you walk past my outside window you can pick up subtle hints of something growing hehe
-
Noice!! I really like them. That's a shit load of light @40cm away You could even raise it a bit to get better coverage if you need to stick more plants under it
-
@SAgrower, what light is the 150w LED? Regular spot light led or a grow light of sorts?
-
Ah shit man! I have had similar issues! I opted for as few pieces outside the bucket as possible for this reason! But to be honest, my vortex brewer also leaks if I don't fit the pipes tight enough. So my whole system is glued water tight except one conduit and 90 degree bend that I push on and off to drain the thing. I'll try update my vortex thread with more specific things that iv done to get it to work and shit. You aren't the first to wake up to an empty brewer and a puddly floor

That sounds like trading one set of problems with another set of problems. You do get in line air heaters that you could rather use with your ducting But I really don't think it's needed in SA
-
I would change your parameters. Extraction on a timer would work... But it would need to be some timer, as intake is crucial and cannot be stopped for long periods... Something like 5min on 5min off might help out. But I would adjust your temp parameters a bit. Make the heater only kick on at 15, and it can turn off at 26 28 is quite a challenge for a little heater to reach in these cold times
-
What are your Temps like? I would only switch a heater on if the Temps are dipping below 15... And your extraction is proper killing your heating attempts lol. I would maybe try only running the night as the days aren't that bad yet. Also you could try reducing the intake of air a bit to try keep the inside air warmer. Your tent should heat up quick enough if the cold outside air wasn't coming in faster than you can heat it

Yea! Growth will be booming now that real leaves are out. As for the growth with the LED, the light it emmits will deminish greatly every 30cm away from the plants. So it looks like you have a few plants that need the extra light, but if you were able to lower the light and focus the light over the plants, growth will then start catching up with the sun... The sun is pure power though

What's up man! Sounds like it's time for you to roll up and light up man!! Take it easy on the Lil ladies... They are so fresh and new to this world, they look good for being a few days old hehe. The Temps are fine and RH is also fine. This hobby is 90% patience 5% knowledge 3%skill and 2% for more patience, coz you gonna need it

Looking good man! You gotta get the time lapse working again!
-
Welcome Ray! A farm does sound exciting!! How many square meters dude!? Farm tunnels or open air?
-
Looking really proper man!! @Naughty.Psychonaut Nice work on the preemptive checking for leaks and disassembly for easy cleaning! You gotta show us how the maiden brew goes

Cool, and then they can go under your light... Don't be afraid to give them too much light... As long as they are far from the heat they can get all the light they want, just like outside under the sun. It's more cuttings that need low light conditions to get them to transpire less and focus on rooting. TBH I put them under my light from the moment I sow them

Iv found jiffies very forgiving... I use straight tap water with the jiffies, unphed even... And leave the seeds... So far iv had 99% success.... It would be higher... But I was impatient and started digging around and I damaged a taproot... So now I set em and leave em.... And make sure the bowl has water in it so the jiffies don't dry out

Depends what training you going for. I think they are a bit small still for Lst. I would rather keep it simpler this run and maybe just top some of them to create a nice even canopy. Lst is a pain in my opinion... Much better results can be obtained using a scrog net of sorts... But for now, just let them grow so you can see how they turn out and so you can learn a few things for the next run
