And I guess to answer your question about the sun... I think that a high UV index would eventually degrade the trichomes, but I doubt that it's the sun if it's just the tops of the colas.... 50cm further from the sun isn't going to make any difference to its potency and strength. A more likely issue would be handling the Cola in any way... Pressing it to see how dense she is or whatever... Less handling equals better appearance.

Well, I wouldn't look at only one spot on the plant in determining ripeness... Depending on the size of the plant... I would take readings between 5 and 10 different parts of the plant and give myself an average of the amber. I like to make sure the bud is done, but not a fan of couch lock... So I generally cut at around 5 to 10% amber

Not ideal but it's chilled!! Reflected light and general ambient light is still an okay source of light. More important is, how dark does the night cycle get and stay? Does the lounge light not shine onto it?

Looking awesome man!! Have you had any pests in bloom?

In DWC, pH drops dramatically in early flower and you will need to make sure it doesn't get as low as 4.5 ever. In veg DWC I pH my water to 6.0 at res reset... But in early bloom I set pH at 6.5 due to the massive drop in pH. PH drops due to the massive uptake of potassium and phosphorus for root zone development, and then again in late bloom when she stacks. Make sure your pH doesn't drop lower than 5.5 and you will be okay. Potassium and phosphorus are much easier absorbed at a pH above 6.2. Other than that the plants look okay... What light are they getting?

Looks more like they have just been flipped... Barely a week into flower... You have them in sun? Iv done and outdoor DWC and it was amazing!! But what do your roots look like and what are you feeding them
-
Yup, too intense light should never be a concern... I would pin in on high general Temps, and like @Mambawana said, nute burn.. What are your average Temps?

Alright bois and girls!. My first run is slowly coming to fruition. The Slurijuggs are finishing fastest, citradelic sunsets just behind, and the early lemon berry coming in last.

Thank you and well done!! It takes a leap of faith to trust this method, but boy you don't regret it!! Now that you have an established root system, I would go ahead and chop all the dead brown yuck looking roots off and let the new roots explode even more! I have found that I use less nutrients when I incorporate teas in my regime

He is growing in soil, so it would hold a bit more water than coco... And not dry out as fast. Iv found that even with low RH, a 20l soil pot takes a good 3 days to become light enough to water again. Where as an outdoor coco pot of 20l would dry up in a day and a half and probably wilt by the end of day 2.

For the hortimix, the online feeding program is for hydro and needs to differ a bit for soil and coco. I have found that my previously mentioned formula works well in coco... But adds too much nitrogen for soil applications. Which works okay in veg... But in bloom the nitrogen tox shows up pretty quick in my soil plants. Also... That hortimix schedule keeps getting higher and higher each week which does not work. You need to get to a level. Only way to do that is with an EC or ppm meter, do you have one?
-
Plants are looking good and green... Maybe a little too green. I disregarded the hortimix scheme as it does not fit my schedule. In veg I went 1 part A 1 part B and 1 part MPK In early flower I went 1:1:2 And now in mid flower I am going 1:0.5:2 and they are looking great. How often do you feed?
-
Keen for you to get going again yo!
-
Grow is looking great!! I think part B has the bulk of the nitrogen being only calcuim nitrate, cut back a Lil on that one... But if you are following the feeding scheme hortimix provides, then you should be fine... And iv been telling these guys!! Milk helps so much for PM!!

Looking super sweet man!! Really proper!!

Sweet... Lots of cool shit happening here... I'll stick around for this one. Tell us more about your homemade stuff

Hahaha what's uuuuuup!!! Hit us up with some pics yo!

While you may be right, I feel the need to say that we are growing Marijuana... And they need quite a tight pH range. Adjusting pH to accommodate the microbes, while potentially putting the medium out of an acceptable range might not provide the right growing conditions for cannabis to thrive. I have found that the microbes and fungi regulate pH by themselves and adjustments aren't really needed. I have also found that fungi and bacteria thrive if they have access to food, and while adjusting pH might improve their growth... It's really not needed. Plant roots feed carbohydrates to the microbes and fungi and keep the population growing and or adequate.

Sounds fucken rancid I'd hit that
