You my friend, have never experienced cyanobacteria at its worst!! I used to be a meticulous res cleaner and kept my res as sparkly as I could and as sterile as I could!! Then I was silly... I told a friend that I can help her poor plant by sticking it in the res... So I washed the roots off nicely and put it in the res.... Boom... Within one week... I was crippled without hope of recovery. I scoured the net and got little info on what to do.... Mostly was advised to pack up... Buy new res buckets and move home lol. That's when I found out about Heisenberg tea. And it changed my life!! His brew is full of American additives that are not available in SA... So I researched like a mofo... Read up on every ingredient and found something similar in SA... Went out and bought the stuff, @GreenthumbHydro hooked me up with all that I needed, and so I started my journey with teas.... Within 3 days I was seeing signs of recovery, and within a week I was seeing new growth on all my DWC plants. Not only recovery.... Fuck booooi iv never seen growth like that before... It was amazing!!! But to answer your question.... I brew that 18l and it could probably be diluted to cover an entire hectare.... But I have played around and nowadays I go full strength... But quantity... Mmm I use a 250ml container to add tea to the buckets. And go one 250ml dose in a 30l DWC bucket. In the plants I have in coco, I went a full 1.5l per 20l Fibre pot and they loved it

Shit son!!! Why haven't you got a diary up!? Plants are looking gawjus!!!
-
It's really is a great room haha, veg lights come on at 5pm and then it's magical.
-
Do the mites lay their eggs in the medium or on the plant?
-
Damn dude!! I can't imagine dusting the whole plant.... I sprayed all my ladies with pyrol, topside and underside, and it took me 2 hours!!!
-
I think you have your answer then mate I would say it's just a genetic anomaly, might make the buds grow funny too... Who knows, maybe it's desirable haha Even though you use the same soil, and same res... Complications can develop in single pots and it still might be prudent to check runoff and pH, possibly even a slurry test. But if it's growing better than some of your other plants... I wouldn't be too concerned... Maybe start worrying why they aren't growing better than this plant hehe Peace and love bro

Going to need closer up pics to see nice. But I must mention that TMD doesn't come with the seed, it's a virus that's transferred by touch or from another plant in close proximity. I must also say that this is like.... The least common problem with weed and is generally always misdiagnosed as TMD. So unless you smoke cheap ciggies and don't wash your hands after a smoke... I would say the chances are low that it's TMD. I would assess the medium and possibly transplant into fresh medium. It could also just be a genetic mutation that looks funky. Has it been this way from seed? What are you feeding and pH and stuffs?

This brew came to an end last night, and I fed 18l of tea to all the plants last night. This morning I was met with beautiful adoring plants that were paying homage to me by praying like mofos!!! This is what the sock looked like at the end, teeming with life!! I always know iv added the right amount of mollasses to the brew when the brew stops smelling like molasses at the end of the brew. That's a good thing as well because you want the microbes to start assimilating whatever nutes are available to make it easier for the plant to uptake. If there's one thing I never skimp on, is humic acids... The chelets in the HA are your biggest friend, they are able to attach to nutes that the plant battles to absorb, and then the plant is able to uptake that nute easier. Fulvic acids would be better for hydro as there are less solids in it, and many more chelets. I just don't have.

I'm not sure about you yet Mr Chris Jay, but ones things for sure... You make me laugh hehe

I'll take a look when I can Alwys interested in learning new techniques that I can incorporate in my grow from very experienced growers. What I have found has given me the greatest drive to grow the best I can, is like minded individuals from this site. Daily updates and constructive criticism is where it's at.

LOL I hear you... Generators are the way Fossil feul is still king for now You could get a training bike attached to a motor and the force of your own body can propel your household!! Sommer get one of those tandem bikes so the whole family can join

The heavy alternating nodes have started and its very easy to distinguish that they are all female. Im pretty excited haha, I have this feeling that I'm going to need Cola holders when the buds start to fatten up

Sweet, I'll slowly add them to my repertoire. I went with pyrol, even though plants get burnt, it really works... And then the neem for preventing a come back haha. It was pretty pricey... 210 for the pyrol, and 120 for the neem, but once I have them all dead or under control, I rate those 2 bottles will last me close to a year... So in the end not so bad

Not so sure what GML is, but a quick Google search doesn't bring up the info that I'm looking for... I don't remove any leaves from where I pinch the stem... I just damage the cambuim so that the plant is forced to heal and not grow for the time being
-
Funny you mentioned another super crop method I like to use.... Squeezing the stems of the fastest growing shoots to curb stretch and improve horizontal growth and help the slower stems catch up a bit.

My dad bought a 5.5kw geni and it runs the entire house, geyser, kettle, entertainment... Everything But if you have a flat or an apartment... You can't wham your geni on lol, UPS would be the way to go in that case

Okay sooo thrips have been a pian in my ass for a while now... Iv been defoliating like a mofo the past few days to make a dent in the population, but obviously not a cure. So I went and bought some neem oil, and some pyrol, and this morning before lights out, I got up and sprayed my Bloom tent thoroughly on top and below. Iv seen ALOT of guys burn their plants badly with the stuff... So I went in at half strength, 20ml per 2l, and added a glug of humic acids to make me feel like it's not an all out assault on the ladies... Big thanks to my 2l pressure sprayer... I can't Foliar without you!!

I'm very excited for this strain... The mom was an amazing beauty with all the perks, and none of the quirks. Seriously the densest bud iv ever grown... The indoor bud would seriously rival Lego blocks... I could squeeze a bud between my fingers until my fingers when white and the bud wouldn't budge. Grind that shit up though and puff.... Interplanetary galactic shit I swear. These ladies have been crosses with a Dutch Passion Blueberry plant, so I'm quite keen to see what I get... If only half of the mom comes through, it will be another legendary smoke that will bring peace to this world. Very excited

Super cropping only works on the softer green stem... So if the long stems have wooded up, I don't mess with them. I had to super crop the plants to get them under the scrog nicely, but due to the wooded up stems, I couldn't get the net lower and had to make missions haha. @DankFiend, maybe if you have another net you can super crop them together and get to lower your light alil. From what iv seen of the fluence though, you can keep them pretty high and still get fantastic results due to the really high PAR output
-
Well I hit follow, seems like a sweet grow to watch... Very keen to see what the fluence does lol.. Not many can afford such lights, so I'm keen to see what they are able to do. And sweet job on leveling that canopy man! It's looking really full and level!!

I'm pretty new to soil and coco meduims, like a few months at best really... I'm not used to this whole... Watering thing... So I think I did go a bit overboard with the watering. And the light was just too close... Nodes were starting to get really tight.... And I'm not a fan of tight nodes... Makes it so hard to get in where you need to be
-
Yea, that's why I didn't fix the last 2 qbs into one light fitting, rather keep then separate so I can play with them later if needs be. I'm very excited for this grow haha Yup! I can barely take any credit for how lovely they are looking.
-
Yea this was just a quick one with what I had around. Need more worm castings tho. Something to help a few plants along haha. Sjoe! A tea for bloom hey? Most peeps are only interested in if it's bacteria Dom or fungi Dom as I don't think much changes in the way plants absorb nutrients in veg and bloom, other than the rate of absorbsion , and different amounts or quantities of nutrients. But, I guess you could add some ammendments like fire juice, which has amino acids and phosphorus and potassium and that would be a sweet add towards the end of your brew, last few hours as the fire juice is a bokashi mix which is anaerobic bacteria and we grow aerobic bacteria in the tea. Explogrow would be amazing. Diversity is the key, no matter what stage the plants are in, so I would get a dank soil sample from a forest or work, or somewhere where the plants are growing boss.

They have grown a bit since the last update and will need to be spread out in the coming weeks... Maybe even repot some into their next homes I had a bit of an over watering issue, but they have since come right... Over watering and or light stress as the light was pretty close. The 8 around the missing center.

What's up guys!! I haven't made one of these in a while!! I finally got my brewer up and running... With a few mods as it was leaky as fuck!!! Today's mix is Oats, mollasses, mycorrhizal fungi, EMProSoil, a bag of soil from a garden, humic acids, and I think that's it... Here's a Pic of the vortex in action!
