  1. As for your clones. They might start flowering, until November starts, but if you have an outdoor light or something you can keep them in veg until nature does its thing
  2. Yea... Humic acids are amazing in teas! Green thumb sell the EMProSoil and another product that is a must. Mycorrhizal fungisuper cheap and a life saver! I have previously asked their advice on teas and the first response was "teas?" After that there was very little useful info from them. None to be exact. None of the hydro companies really know anything about teas... But they sell the ingredients. I do hope that's changed.
  3. What a weird one! The runt from earlier is the leading grower here! Topped again and now it's the same size as the other untopped Ayla bb. They are getting big enough to put in bloom to fill up the scrog net. Or outside... Not sure yet
  4. And here they are today!! Growth has been good since transplant.
  5. @Vanessa here's the tea section. I try to be as diverse as I can! Here's another tea I brewed a few days ago. I neglected it a bit and left it to brew for 65 hours about... And wow what a sludge fest lol!! I think the brew started to monoculture a bit and the microbes had consumed all the molasses I gave them. But all good! I gave it to all my plants and garden plants... They love it so much!! This brew was very basic. 1 handful of earthy soil(I need to get more from the Forrest) 50ml EMProSoil A sploosh or 2 of mollasses 50ml milk (microbes love milk) 20ml or so humic acids All the brown sludge is microbe populations - this was a very bad ass tea
  6. Oi!! Nice bru! I like the setup I would get the seedlings closer to the light... 60cm or even 40cm... The 250 isn't super powerful and there is little chance to burn your seedlings. The ppm is sharp I like to add a bit of calmag in after iv added nutes. The nutriplex lacks that after a few weeks. Shame that poor seed!! I would move away from rockwool in favor of jiffies. Keep us updated! I'm subbed
  7. Work won't care... Especially if it's just one person who keeps failing the tests. What test is it anyways? Piss test? Blood test? Breathalyzer? I don't know how they are getting fast results... Surely police men would be using this ground breaking testing method to convict us helpless growers??
  8. Okay cool. If you follow the nutrient guide you should be okay... But I would let the plants stay in the res for 2 to 3 weeks... Iv noticed deficiencies after 3 weeks, so that's the sweet spot for me. The plants drink waaay more water than nutrients... And if you forget to top the res up for a few days, the nutrients ppm really shoots up high and can cause shit. But that seems like a decent meter... I think I got mine from Green thumb, and was around 400 shmakers... It is definitely something you should try organizing for your grow. And pH? You use the drops or do you have a meter? Plants are looking good otherwise you gonna scrog these ladies?
  9. I find that even with topping up every day, the over all Ppm doesn't drop by much after a week... Barely even after 2 weeks... Small plants in veg use a miniscule amount of nutes to grow. Do you have an EC or ppm pen?
  10. You change your nutes every week?
  11. I think it will take a while before these seeds get well, the tea should help, but i would plant new seeds in the mean time. Healthy seeds will grow faster than the unhappy seedlings
  12. I have been thinking about this, and I have seen great plants grown in cultera soil from garden & home... And terrible plants in freedom farms soil and and and and... I think sticking to one soil is unwise as all soils seem to go through good and bad patches.
  13. It would seem that soil companies aren't a fixed constant and seem to suffer from what most businesses suffer from, supply and demand. I think all soils will go through good patches and terrible patches and to stick to one soil would be a folly. We should rather learn how to analyze bagged soils and determine by smell or sight and touch to be able to tell if this batch is good or bad.... No easy task at all!!! But learn every day and get better!!
  14. It seems okay... Price is decent too... But I find it drains too easy... Doesn't hold water nicely. Although, I must say I added perlite... So I guess I can't give it a proper rating. It wasn't bad though and I have a local supplier so I will prob try it again. Smelled nice and earthy
  15. The teas would containminimal amounts of nutrients, and is more for the microbial boost, use in conjunction, or replace your plain watering with a tea... Once a month to your whole garden it will really start to transform the soil.
  16. Yea! Microbe teas are awesome! It can be a bit daunting at first, but you will definitely see the benifit fast. Take a look at the organic growing section of the forum... There are lots of great tips there... And I have a grow diary called teas teas teas... If you can I would do a bit of your own googling as there is quite a bit of info on teas and their benifits... More so on the teas ingredient list... That's the magic right there.
  17. Interesting, might be a bad batch as Organics matter is generally decent. Was it a recent buy? I might consider a transplant to another soil if that's doable for you? Otherwise a flush might do the trick... Do you brew any microbe teas?
  18. I still think you have a problem with your medium. I would flush those plants containers with a very large amount of correctly phd water, and begin a light feeding schedule after a week. But all this requires you to be able to correctly measure and adjust your pH.
  19. Organic matters? Okay, indoors, what light are they under? The potting mix might be too hot for the seedlings... Seedlings can get fairly big without any external food. So I'm thinking that you have a pH issue aswell. Do you have a way to test pH?
  20. Hi Vanessa, Could you give us more detail as to what brand of potting soil has been used, and if they are indoors or outside? I have a few more questions, but let's go one at a time for now
  21. Thanks Vanessa, Visit now and then and show us your plants and how they are growing... Or if you have an issue you can't seem to wrap your head around, hit us up and we will try to help
  22. Nice!! Good for them hehe.. They must grow some strawberry strains Still don't like that the media calls it dagga in this glorious day and age
  23. What's the ballpark figure for electricity usage with an aircon for you?
  24. Inital specimen was a poor choice... But the effects of going from hydro to soil were good and I will try it again.
  25. Well... It will grow very similarly... Growth patterns will be identical and flowers will be identical Only time it will grow differently is if you introduce better lights, better soil, better every thing... But if you have the best of the best... A cutting will always be just like the mother you cut her from
