  1. Iv actually almost forgot about this clone... I'll check it tonight to see if I have roots yet or nubs at least
  2. The Indica are just better suited to indoor growing due to their short stature... Where as sativas grow very tall and are not suited to indoor growing. But outdoors, as long as you have great sun and goor rains... You will have a great Indica plant right here in jozi
  3. Hit up an electrical wholesale company... They will give you a great deal on a HPS flood light for under 2k for a light fitting, cable and chain to hang it
  4. For sure! And there's start up costs... Granted, LEDs are becoming cheaper and cheaper by the year, they have amazing efficiency... Cost less to run... It really is a no brainer... You can get them in any spectrum you want... Geez the list goes on... But if you are on a budget... HPS start up costs are still really low, and the results are decent... But when you work hard and have a bit of extra bucks... Upgrading to LED is a smart move
  5. So quick correction on PsyCLown.. Initial current is 3A but it tapers down to 2.4A~ which brings the watts down to 500w and not 650... Minor improvement... But still very very inifficient. I agree, LED is the way to go... But the HID lighting has given a huge contribution to indoor growing... So it's not fair to be terribly critical. Sadly, LED's are super expensive to buy in the layout.. It's almost offputing... But sourcing the parts and importing makes things much cheaper and cost friendly.
  6. There we go... Okay sweet... Keep in mind that you would start this process earlier and will have much better results... Good that you haven't flipped yet! Leave those bent... Keep them supported as is... And they will be fine. The colas will perk up to the light in no time and the bends will heal by the time you wanna flip... Depending on how full your net is, maybe push your flip date by another week, unless it has your Chocolopes in with them?
  7. Don't be afraid!! That shit happens. It's okay... Your stem just folded, that's perfect.... Leave it for a few days... Bent like it was.... And a huge knuckle will form. Are you still vegging the plants?
  8. Shot man!! Yea guys it's that simple!! After the hardening off period... As long as the stems stay moist, they will root... *will motha fucken root* If the stems don't get enough spitter spatter, they will go limp and recovery is tough... More bubbles... Always more bubbles.
  9. Okay so... You can imagine the 200l bin in half... Now imagine drilling a hole at the bottom in the middle. At the open side of the drum, weld a 25mm flat bar across the diameter of the drum, weld a ring on the center of the bar that a bar can fit into, big nut works well, and take a 15mm solid round bar, stick it through the hole at the bottom of the drum... Now you have a spindle for your drum. The frame will have to be at your discretion. The crank though... Is super easy too... I would take a wheel from a trolley or a wheel bin... Fashion a crank and mount it on to the drum, so that when you turn the crank... The wheel rides on the drum and turns it. So I would actually design the drum frame exactly the same as the cement mixer... With the crank in place of the motor

Yassi... You saying it like that makes them sound like hectic dealers... "hey kid, do you wanna buy some Marijuana?" Dodgey as fuck... I'm actually offended and want to report that shit... With a kid of my own that's almost in primary school, if I found this out as a parent I would throw such a scene. I love my Mary Jane so much! But I do not and will never be cool with underage exposure without control
  11. I would cut a 200l drum in half... Pretty much make the mixer the same as a concrete mixer vibe... But make it spin with a crank... The electric motor will drive the cost up real high for a simple device

I'm pretty sure right opposite a school if illigal as fuck... Surely similar principals to tobacco and alcohol should apply? Not within 500m or something of a school. Nice little quick stop for the laaitjies to spend their tuck money, mooi
  13. Nice bru! Okay so I took another look at your setup... You have a few things to do... First will be to either raise all the plants up individually to the net... Or lower the net down over the plants. Personally I would do a bit of both... Some plants can go a bit higher to match the others. Next would be to have about 15cm of plant above the net... You can go even more... But let's start smallish... Then once the net is secure and plants are in the holes... Weave the tops of the plants under the net so that the net holds them... Don't worry, in a few hours all the tops will be pointing toward the light again. At that stage you are all set... Now the work is little... Every few days you just bend the stems under the net again and keep the canopy flat... Once your net is full, then you can flip to flower and reap the buds bro Edit - after the bending... I would lower your light to as close as you can go, making sure you don't lower it too much so the stems on the outskirts don't get light
  14. I can give you some ideas if you're keen... It does involve a grinder though... But the end result will work well for your needs
  15. To give you an example... I put a few plants under my scrog net. The one plant in particular, was 75cm tall. It is now under the net, flat, and only 42cm tall... The branches bend really well and that plant has responded the best to the net. So the nets not just for support... It's to keep the canopy flat like PsyCLown said. The net you have is more of an outdoor config where high winds can break the stems outdoor and your net will prevent breakage. .. But indoor, stem breaking is much less of an issue, and light penetration and distribution is more of a concern. Do yourself a flavour next round... Scrog and reap
  16. So far the plants really seem to be enjoying it! Let's put it to the test
  17. Shiiiiiiiiiiit... Okay here is where iv decided to reveal my new light fitting... Another adaption to my light, added a 250w HPS light in the center to fill in the dead zones. Mother fuckers, I present to you....
  18. I straight up dig the mobile site... Super easy to use... My issue was I left the club... Joining the club sorted me out!
  19. Congratulations @stoukie!! I actually voted for your Pic! Very well deserved Thank you to 420sa for 2nd place!
  20. Iv just had a day of Scroggins lol... These plants just bend however you want them... Takes actually a fair amount of force to bend and break them... But almost nothing to bend and bend lol.
  21. LOL that was a true stoner moment Sick pic though man... Post it up in the August SOTM
  22. If you must... Use that in your outdoor garden
