  1. Iv been monitoring the tops to make sure they don't go dry dry... The hydro keeps em moist... Not soggy Yea man I'm keen to see them grow... Hopefully they are what iv been told!! Edit - my curiosity got the better of me this morning and I went to investigate what's taking long... Barely scrapped the top mm of the jiffys and lo and behold... 2 seedlings that will probably be another 3 days before I see them emerge on their own... Note to self... Exercise some damn restraint and patience Richard!!
  2. It's Sunday and nothing has really happened yet... Will give them another few days and check again... Really Hope I'm not cursed with bad seed juju
  3. Lol that kind of stuff... Patching up the grow room lol... Sounds like my weekends hahaha... I was thinking about remounting my flower room fan a few min ago... Nothing wrong with it... I just wanna remount it... Aaaah the life of a grower... Never ending bliss and heartache at the same time
  4. Mind my ignorance... But what is AQ-SF? And I have an ear for the uninteresting extra stuff... Just routine maintenance... Or something more?
  5. Oh... Okay lol... Such a noob I'm still exploring and reading the site
  6. Yo @420sa, theres this new feature that defaults the forum comments by most likes... Is there a way to make it sort by date by default?

Wow... #cracks knuckles Heisenberg tea is AACT He has complex ones and basic ones. I ran into root issues because I was once a noob who took outdoor plants, rinsed the roots, and put it in my hydro... Lol what a mess!! Thankfully, Heisenberg saved me and my grow. He lists only American stuff... Great white mycos and ancient Forrest soils and stuff... I found the basic teas ingredients here in SA... Per 10l Basic ingredients are EM pro(25ml or more... Note that the bottle says its viable for 90 days.. So don't be shy) mycoroot mycorrhizal fungi (25ml of the granules) Molasses (1tbsp) Brew for 48hours in dechlorinated tap water... at room temp (20-28)... I use water that has been standing for 48 hours minimum Those 3 ingredients will fix your rootzone.. I add kelpak, worm castings, humic acids, magnesium sulphate, various soils for diversity... As long as you have the main ingredients you will have a great tea Chuck it in fairly liberally if you have an infection... I'd go for 100ml per 10l res Then go down to 50ml per 20l for inoculations every few weeks or every reschange
  9. Note on the Nutriplex... It's a super basic nute combo, apparently based very close to the GH flora range... But obviously at half the price of GHF, you will be missing out on a few things... I wanted to switch at one point.. But then started ammending the nutes with basic extras.. Humic and fulvic acids, kelpak, mycoroot and EM pro, Trelmix And now I see no need to spend 300 bucks more on the GHF when my plants seem to love what I do So sure, they aren't the most complete or complex... But with a Lil extra love, they work perfectly...
  10. Woo-hoo!! Im gonna be different and upload some root porn! Aurora Kush mother and Ayla blueberry root synergy
  11. She is quite sensitive at the moment... I don't see any harm reporting her now... But you can do that later aswell... The longer the lights are on, the faster she will reveg Note- try removing all left over flowers as they contain flower hormones that slow down the reveg process
  12. That would be perfect... My last outdoor run I ran an extention with a 22w fluorescent bulb to my plants... I ran my flower room from 8pm to 8am and connected the light up to the timer circuit... So my outdoor got 12 hours sunlight, and 10 or so hours with that little light... And that worked really well... Extra hours of light will affect your flowering ladies, so if you can, move the plant somewhere else and increase the light hours. Only 2 months to go before outdoor season starts again and you can let her grow into a monster Ps- reveg is a time consuming process... Don't expect to see 5 spoke leaves for a whole month.. Or longer
  13. Reveg happens best when there is a long light period, anything from 14hours of constant light a day. Ideally, you should have her under a light for 18 hours plus. You can keep her outside, and just put a lamp near her with a normal household globe for a few extra hours at night
  14. The AK I have had for a few years and know how she grows... Personally not my favorite... But everyone who has had some says it's really amazing. And her grow profile is really great. Initially attracted to her deep green leaves that shimmer blue under LED light or MH. Has a sweet veg smell that excites the senses... And a dank bloom smell that will make you weak
  15. I have very limited stock, and not really enough space for more, unless the geno and pheno are on point Aurora Kush - long story short, bagseed glory plant. short story long.. This plant had me wowed from the start... Beautiful veg growth pattern with the strongest stems iv ever seen, indoor and out. Flowers are dense and stack tight with a crusty oily smell. Powdery mildew resistant and mostly pest resistant as long as something else is near by. Does not purple. Smoke is typically smooth and high is euphoric and clear headed. I am starting a breeding project with her to try get a different flavor. Then I have some DP Blueberry fem seeds I have some Gummyberry seeds White widow clones in a month or so Creme Caramel that I'm hoping will smell as Divine as her mom. And that's it right now. Looking for fruity strain.. With a solid sativa high... And a different strain... Cheesey
  16. Let me tell you what I have
  17. Woah! Completely missed this. It's been a while, what have you got now?
  18. From my experience, between indoor hydro and outdoor soil of the same strain/mother The indoor nugs were much denser and frostier... And had a nice dank smell early in bloom, smells left somewhat towards the end of the grow. The outdoor nugs were still dense, but not as dense as the indoor, the nugs were bigger than the indoor by a good amount, and kept their scent all the way, through drying and curing. So now obviously the circumstances between the 2 are vast and I can't give a true comparison... But I'm pretty sure the soil move played a big role
  19. That's mostly my experience too... Enough to convince me to try this out and see how it goes... My idea is to have the speed and vigor in veg, get them to the size I want, train them nice... Then into soil to bloom. I will be showcasing this in my grows.. Including the Chocolope competition plant
  20. That's reveg magic happenig right there! Where do you have her reveging?
  21. I havent been on any forums that offer such amazing opportunities to show off your grow... As a fairly new member, it is an exciting avenue to show off my plants and to gain something, however small it may be. I do agree with you about peeps needing to participate and not spectate, but how's about a monthly poll either way, with prizes offered if more than 15 or 20 people vote or enter a Pic... I'd rather have a prizeless POTM than nothing. Most growers on this forum seem to be new growers who are battling it out like we have when we started growing.. And I don't think we should be too critical about how they update their grows.. Even some of the more experienced growers and members on this forum have incomplete journals that have been left off. So yea man... It's not ideal with the amount of participants that have been playing POTM, but there is more than one way to skin a cat
  22. To each their own... I'm really just doing it to save money on hydro nutes.. Bloom gets pricey for me and as I don't sell any of my product, I like to try alternate methods to find a happy medium for me... Pun intended
  23. It worked better than I could have imagined on my last outdoor grow... Plants took to the soil like a duck to water... I'm planning on doing this to all my plants going forward... Seems like a no brainer after I saw the results
  24. The point system in place now... Will that determine annual winners and stuff?
