Thanks for the info, appreciate it. Any time @SAgrower I forgot to mention you should take a look around the buds, even inside them, the little caterpillars like to burrow their way into the buds, those buds will develop even further issues.

Hi @SAgrower , you got some insect and bug problems there, the little holes in the leaves most likely a kind of Caterpillar, some of it looks like leafminers, but the biggest issue is what looks to me like rust/blackmold. The plants are far into flowering to suggest any treatments (in my opinion), except, defoliate as much of the infected/damaged leaves, keep a close eye and chop when she's done, plants in serious stress will usually finish up faster.

Hi @zairek should be pretty sweet for vegging plants, N is a bit high to push it all the way through flowering I would say. One thing I noticed is there is no Ca in that, but a decent amount of Mg, I would amend the soil/medium with some DolomiteLime or some form of Calcium.

@420sake that sounds great man, breeding does take some foresight and a clear idea of where the strains need to go. It seems that a lot of the strains going around SA at the moment is very susceptible to PM, local outdoor selections will us to create some very resistant plants over time.

That male looks nice man, good production by looks of it, and like you mentioned all the sisters are fire so he should pass along some of that, F1's rarely go wrong with a nice vigorous male. Great to see the all the collaborations going on that side, getting excited to see what comes out, as well as wondering how my ol KushCookies at @Bospatrollie2 will stand alongside the fire you guys are busy with!

I see that leaf quite a lot when plants reveg out of the flowering stages, never ran across a plant that only had 3 blades from seed, if so possibly a rarer phenotype of that strain. Plants that reveg will usually go from 1 blade, to 3 blades, and then starts producing full sets as the veg period is in full swing.

Sure is growing slowly, I still haven't managed to kill it, but i'll have to give it some extra attention, at this rate it is only making a new set of leaves every month. It needs a lot of humidity, but not too much sun, and man if the humidity drops, the leaves just curl up, my friend almost lost his motherplants in the last heat wave.

This Hawaiian Snow cutting was cut down by my dog earlier in the season, it had only a few tiny leaves left from which it had to regrow. It has been showing signs of Mg and Ca deficiencies, interveinal chlorosis Mg and then the severe leaf curl I think is from a shortage of Calcium. Ca being a immobile element it show up towards the top and the Mg is mobile so usually shows up at the bottom of the plant. I happen to know this strain is a heavy feeder on Ca and Mg, so I will treat her accordingly.

Sup 420SA family! Decided to create a diary for all my rescue cases, I don't always grow in optimum ways, sometimes I challenge my plants, bad luck strikes, and a lot of the time I just do something stupid. Plants in need of rescue get donated to me from time to time, this will also be their diary. Follow along as I try to nurse em back to health, preserve some genetics and learn how to fix my mistakes. I see P Carbonate is available in SA but for some reason difficult to get P BiCarbonate. And for sure there are infected gardens everywhere, worst outdoor season ever for many.

@Prom I must apologize, the Calcium Bicarbonate is better used as a prevention and follow up, had my wires crossed, P Bicarb is super effective during the veg stages, not sure about the buds. I wonder why some products seem so unavailable in SA. Dudes are budwashing quite a bit this year for the PM, not sure if that is a option, how far does she still have to go? I have been lucky with the PM, my little breeding spot is sheltered, leaves do not receive mist from ocean (or the dew), really helps a lot I think.

@Prom you can also try with Calcium Bicarbonate to treat the PM, just its on the buds already not sure if you want either Potassium or Calcium on the buds.

The plant on the left looks to have some longer flowering characteristics, a more thin leaved Sativa leaning variety, it should continue to flower for another month or so my guess. The plant to the right seems to be a fast maturing, a more fat leaved Indica or possible Ruderalis hybrid, this plant is going to finish up in the next weeks I would say. Yah I try not ever use systemic or any serious chemicals on my weeds. The h2o2 and vinegar/s are the fungicides, alone vera supplies micronutrients and other goodies to the wound. It also helps to seal it. Honey can be used effectively as a antibacterial and antifungal protection/treatment, my weapon of choice for sealing bigger branches after pruning. Cinnamon can be used as a fungicide, but helps more as a preventative I would say. Sometimes a Honey+Cinnamon paste is all that is needed. You an also consider using the CopperSoap on the stem if all else fails. I would try and keep her alive as long as possible, in her current situation I think she is going to try and finish up quickly.
