  1. No probs, just keep an eye on them, most likely as the conditions get dryer at the top they will go back into the medium. If they are running on the plant, send me a mention cause then its most likely some other critter, those in the vid I know are part of the composting crew.
  2. @Kgrows those are arthropods, most likely springtails, they are too cool, love the white one. They are beneficial buggos that live in the soil helping to break down the matter in there, if you wanted to be living soil, thats the right stuff. I would not disturb them. There are loads of different kinds (There are about 3,600 different species), always in the compost. You can read more about em here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Springtail
  3. Thanks a lot @Pat999 , have to up my SCROG level this round for sure! I will work hard and try do em proud, hopefully get that budporn coming hot! Nou tyd vir Brand en Bak in die oggend, vrede!
  4. Day 8 Flowering - Week 2 The Chocolopes have been very well behaved and creating a beautiful canopy under the hps, I can't really say the same for the BlueberryKush's, they have been stretching and making their massive leaves to try and catch as much light as they can. I managed to snap a few branches of the BlueberryKush while training them this week, usually the worst time to train is when lights go on and when you have not watered in a while. Best time to train is after a watering in my opinion, but in this case the 2 snapped branches helped me tame the girls a little bit. They are trying to show off to the Choco's I think. Here are a few update pics, I will try take more closeup shots when I get some pompoms going. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, working on it. Peace and love stay green yall! Topview of the garden. The great divide, BlueberryK to the top, Chocos to the bottom. BlueberryKush's being bit overkill on those fan leaves, happy plants though.
  5. Dude this is champ! @CreX I have had some seeds germinate in a baggie that went through the wash, defs trying this ASAP.
  6. Healthy outdoor Cannabis plants can handle high temps, providing certain conditions are met. Plants in a pot would stress a lot more than that of one who has its roots in nice cool garden soil, providing the soil is not bone dry. You could always provide them with a shadenet in the heat wave if you are concerned. Indicas generally can handle quite a lot of heat, if the plant is healthy and well cared for it will just eat up that sunshine. Do not move plants from indoors straight into heat like that, they wont enjoy it much.
  7. There are pro's and cons i would imagine, to both hps and led. Big warehouse in Colorado pumping shittons of Gravita watts, just saying. If room is too cold hps is boss, if room is to hot led will always be king, my 2cents.
  8. I would like to invite everybody to share their breeding projects here with the breeding group if you wish. How to Post: Create your titles in the following manner. (I am open to suggestions this is just my attempt at this) Kinds of threads Lineup - This is a thread where you can post about your projects, you can reserve the second post for pictures to upload for future updates if first post gets too long. I will pin the Lineups submitted by breeders. Lineup thread title - Lineup: YourUsernameOnly Phenohunt - This is where you can post your phenohunts from your breeding projects. Phenohunting thread title - Phenohunt: YourStrainName + Gen - Breeder: YourUsernameOnly Strain - This is where you can showcase your strains that you have bred. Strain thread title - Strain: YourStrainName + Gen - Breeder: YourUsernameOnly For now I think that could keep a nice organised forum about our breeding projects, suggestions welcome. Have fun.
  9. Here are two of my Sherbet phenos being flowered, they are in line to become mother plants for future breeding. This is a part of the VanillaKushCookies F2 gen, the selected plant had a distinct sherbet candy smell on the bud when growing, when cured, as well as a distinct sherbet taste when smoked. These plants will need to have that taste when smoked/vaped/dabbed to be the next moms. #1 #2 I will update with pictures here as they continue to flower with some winter magic. Stay blessed up! #1 #2
  10. Here are some pictures of current BlueberryKush F2 phenos being considered for future breeding. Some of the buds/leaves might look a bit knarly, but stress testing in Winter is something I do, we have it very mild over here. This lady has some Romulan in her great grand parents line, but was crossed with BlueberryKush and those beans were inbred, this is the F2 gen pheno hunting. This next lady is a pure BlueberryKush F2 gen pheno hunt, this is from the F1's the Berry/Purple selection. I will update here with more pictures as the buds mature with a bit of winter magic. Stay Blessed Up

    Any thoughts

@Oolong83 it could be that specific strain/plant is sensitive to nutrients, some plants eat more than others. The previous pictures looked a bit like strong nutes, new pictures seem more serious, prob worth checking the runoff for that plant, if she was not eating or had a root issue could be salt buildup contributing.
  12. @Oolong83 your plants are looking great -Thoughts I had looking at the thread now: Later on in flowering you will want some nutrients that are a bit lower on the N, or decrease the dose of your veg fert and introduce something like BioBloom mentioned above, if at all possible, or if you have another flowering fert, just remember to do a decent flush (last week or two flower) when not using natural ferts. Also consider the ratios when decreasing one fert and adding another. Again well done on pulling your plants out of that salt buildup, awesome.
  13. Hi man your girls are looking very good, that Bay11 is a fav in California and bred by the same guys as GrandDaddyPurple i think. About that guano feed, is it seabird guano, I have been looking for batguano (for veg + flower) here in sa, but I haven't found any. In the states and Canada there is so much choice regarding batguano.
  14. Creating this thread to showcase the rest of the ladies in my growbox during the 2019 Indoor Growoffs. We can only track one of the Chocolope x NorthernLights F4 gen, so I will keep track of the other ChocoNL (number 3) here, alongside my 2 x BlueberryKush F2 gen plants. The Chocolopes have the prime spot under the hps and the BlueberryKush plants are directly under the cfl, but get quite a bit of ambient light from the hps. Day 1 Flowering - Week 1
  15. In the works Going to hit my Zkittlez male on a selection of my moms. Working on some GirlScoutCookies fem crosses from my GSC mom reversed. Doing a open pollination project with friends to widen gene pools and protect against bottlenecking.
  16. @Nikkel keep an eye out if it is a girl you will see white hairs coming out of a spear shaped calyx. (like the picture below) Best to wait if you see spear shaped instead of little balls.
  17. If they are not autoflowering beanz I dont think you have much to worry about in that room. The female plant will need to have a properly developed calyx in order to receive the pollen, by then you would have identified males and females quite easily. Male plants will develop their pollen saks a little while before actually dropping the pollen, perhaps a week or so, more or less depending. There is a nice picture of a single male pollen sak at the bottom of the 2nd page of my growoff thread, also pictures of the female pistils. EDIT: The issue might be more about wasted space and time if or when you discover your male/s I would say, but you could go back into veg fairly soon after identifying the sex.
  18. You can keep an eye on them if they form balls that drop its a male, if it stays up like a spear could be female, you need a kind of spear shaped calyx with a white hair or two sticking out. It kind of looks like a speared calyx without the hair, however it is a bit hard to tell from the pics, any chance of a macro shot of the pistil forming? Are they on a 12/12 light cycle, if so you will know within a week im sure.
  19. @Nikkel plants are looking good bro, concerning the lights, inmo the cheapest best option to tie you over for the next month or so is good ol fluorescent tubes, you can pick up a WarmWhite and a CoolWhite, perhaps 30w each, T8's are quite nice. If you could install 4 (2x warmwhite 2x coolwhite) they should style until spring, assuming that the temps inside are warm enough. Good luck man, above mentioned light setup is also great for seedlings/clones and can be kept nice and close to the canopy.
  20. That is awesome, 240w is illuminating the tent nicely, really low power usage. Looking forward to your updates man, take it easy.
  21. Nice growing @MrE ! If you find you are doing too much too the plants, it could help to put up a monthly block calendar for your grow. In there you can plan things ahead of time, as well as keep track of things already done. When you are in a situation where you want to mutilate some greenlings, check your calendar, it might be day for training, if not you can jot down some more to do stuff on the calendar. You can look at that in a glance and see if your plants will be hassled a lot or not, lol, I find myself scribling on my calendar when there is not much to do in the grow. Your LED's are sleek bro, keen to see how the plants grow out, I think they are loving that spectrum like you mentioned, did you do a DIY build on them? Seems like LANK LED's in there is it pulling a lot of power? Sorry about the questions, LED noob here learning more about them.
