Sup 420SA fam, HIGH time for an update. I scored a awesome metal ring a while back, did what any stoner would, turned it into a 200 ish liter fabric pot. She got filled mostly with cocopeat, peatmos, perlite, and a tiny bit of actual soil from previous grows. Planted my Blueberry Kush #4 cut in the ring, hoping for a giant. I planted some red clover as ground cover, in the raised bed as well as the metal ring. Also in the mix around the edges of the bed I sowed some marigold as companions. In the raised bed I planted cuts from my small collection, Strawberry Sherbs (KushCookies f2 cut), Cheese (the same one i sent @1000Hills Nursery in the "Forum Cuts" thread), and Blueberry Kush #3. Got some supplemental lighting in the evening to help the clones stay in veg mode. The soil mix is drying out much better than I expected, and im watering lightly everyday to to avoid drying out the clover seedlings. Peace n buds gowmies
  3. @Orcanic most autoflowers have a better chance when they start of in the final pot, some theories out there about the taproot, etc. Watering is tricky when starting out in the final container, over watering a auto will also set it back, same as a transplant.
  4. Got the popcorn out, enjoy the grow @ORGANinc.
  5. Looks like a full blown hermie, pollen will come soon enough.
  6. Could be a light leak or a change in the light cycle.
  7. Looking nice and healthy dude enjoy the grow
  8. Lekker man, you will be able to tell from the smoke when its dried and a bit cured. Virginia is your milder tobacco, the ones i grew almost taste like a cigar (possibly a burley variety) , Virginia should taste less cigar like and more a rolling tobacco. (Does depend a bit on cure, light toasting, etc)
  9. Very nice @Stinger96, do u know what strain they are, virginia or burley? @Totemic is spot on with the conditions they need. When tobacco is cured it can also be slightly roasted, or soaked in Rum, then dried and roasted slightly. First time i just used the dried leaves until somebody gave me some pointers about roasting leaves slightly. Soaked in some Alchohol and its possible to make homemade blunt wraps, trick is to let em dry out a bit but not all the way after soaking.
  10. Yo @SmokeyZero , no i haven't seen it, will be sure to check it out. Cool title, is it on Youtube or a Netflix fliek?
  11. Very nice selection, these lines are going to be totally beasting ekse Loving the early nug structure on all those gals, super healthy stock, looking foward to seeing their progeny.

    Welcome to the fam @DJR
  13. @PapaSpliff overwatering plants do cause leaves to droop, but usually you can feel the stems (of the leaf) are firm and full of water. With underwatering the leaves will also droop, but stems will be dried out and leaves without much moisture. Glad she is doing better, happy growing, @CreX ftw ekse
  14. Im with @Ill_Evan and @PsyCLown on the dry herb vaporizer. New users can adjust temperatures to avoid getting super baked. A person very dear to me has Glaucoma, started on the dry herb vape about a year ago , sets temps aroumd 180 to 190 these days, seems like a sweetspot. Cant remember the exact temps for what effects, worth a search online when starting. They are doing well and only uses the dry herb vape as treatment. About edibles, when using rosin between 60% - 90% thc, assuming the calculations are done correct - 1mg = microdosing, 10mg = new users that want to feel euphoria, 30mg = more experienced users to feel euphoria / also treating various medical conditions. Over 30mg can get a bit gutwrenching for new users, where 100mg and 150mg is seriously high flying. There are online edible calculators that will help calculate doses "gummy dose calculator". Serious medical conditions can require the latter high doses, where cbd can be used to counteract the strong high. I would advise new users to get some cbd as a go too if they feel overconsumed, also lemon rinds with lemonjuice, a pinch of salt mixed in water will help a lot. Dont quote me on all the above, do the research, i just jotted down what i could remember, some facts might not ne 100% anymore.
  15. @GGG i used to tuck the taller growth back under the screen (when i gooied scrog indoors), a day or two they regain their positions, while the other growth catches up. Your scrog looks A OK!

Yeh 100%, well said, i forgot to add that the market for Autos was created under the 24/0 schedule back in the day. (That was the main hype) As soon as it can veg at 24/0 hours there will be growers in the market saying its not a Auto. Any Fastbuds strain can be grown at 24/0 without issues, in my mind that is a Auto.

Guys dont get me wrong im not saying its impossible, just a paradox when u have a revegging Auto. Nature is crazy and not a lot of research done on this stuff. Perhaps as @swum mentioned this where the "fast" classification can be used.

@CreX i have grown more than a few autos under 24/0 back in the days in London town. Like u said. They sprout. They flower. They finish off. I wouldnt believe everhthing i read from uncle Googs Using a differnt light cycle than 24/0 for a auto is already weird to me.

@swum u can run them at 24hr light cycle to see which carry the gene and which are just regular photoperiod plants like some of the parents.

@swum some might have the Autoflowering trait (at 24hr ligjt cycle), while a lot of them wont. A auto that can reveg is not a Auto and has dropped that genetic trait. It could carry the recessive gene, however u would still need a male carrying the trait to get higher Auto counts. Breeders go as far as f5 and f6 to try lock in correct traits, perhaps why Auto regs are quite rare on the market.
  21. Any pictures of the bigger ones, also how big, similiar to a ladybird? I think it could be part of the ladybug family, i would vote friend if there is no damage.
  22. Hi @GGG , im afraid cutting just the one cola at the back will direct the energy to the whole plant. The rest of the screen will dwarf that corner. You can also trim whats below the screen to push the energy into the main buds. Plants have a way of filling up the space in flower, a big consideration with scrog is the headspace + anticipated stretch.
