  1. Cool, thanks I'll have to give it more air
  2. This is what's growing in my worm farm, is it myco or something else? Good or bad? Not the plants, those are growing from peices of sweet potato
  3. @Green Leaf Organics Awesome write up thank you! you've put a lot of info together here that's generally dispersed amongst the garbage of the internet. 2 Quick Questions if you dont mind: I'm trying to establish my organic method for coco/perl, with microbes etc, without any soil ammendments, using biobizz nutes, AACT, EM pro & myco 1) Fulvic acid - how do you apply this to your grow? every feeding or once a month? & how much? I add about 1-2ml /10L per feed, works out to about 1ml per plant per month. I also apply a kelpak & fulvic foliar throughout veg & 3 weeks into flower 2) Buffering coco - have you got any organic methods for this? TIA
  4. looks like a K def, may be caused by a lockout though, what all are you adding to your water & their quantities?
  5. @GGG it looks a bit like nute burn then, did you ramp up to 2.1EC from 1.5? or did you go straight to 2.1?
  6. could also be a locust or some other bastard like that, they can do that in one night easily. when vegetarians sleep eat/walk they go for burgers
  7. @LukeSI also go with the lemon and bicarb root, I think h2o2 will eliminate alot of terpenes at this stage esp after spraying for pm, lemon first then bicarb
  8. no worries, when you spray it on you will see some fizzing, means its working
  9. sorry bro, use it to sterilise your tools etc, did the same thing
  10. @LukeS just make sure its food grade, stuff from the pharmacy is generally not "consumable". check out greenthumb.co.za or hydroponics.co.za
  11. @LukeS the reason i dont like bicarb at a late flower stage is that it can get absorbed into the trichomes which will leave you with a harsh smoke & taste. foliar spraying with lemon juice will attract WPM so its not a good idea, ideally you should be at about 6.2ph for foliar feeding. the only real downside to H2O2 will be that you may loose some terpenes - this is debatable, but you will finish with good smokeable bud - i would still advise a bud wash after harvest. apply every 2-3 days. spray early morning before lights or just before they switch off & have a fan running. if you do this mid light cycle your plants will burn. you can use the formula for diluting anything thats a bit tricky: Using C1V1 = C2V2 To make a fixed amount of a dilute solution from a stock solution, you can use the formula: C1V1 = C2V2 where: V1 = Volume of stock solution needed to make the new solution C1 = Concentration of stock solution V2 = Final volume of new solution C2 = Final concentration of new solution So lets say you want 3%(C2) final concentration & 1000ml (V2)of the final solution You have 35% H2O2 (C1) So: 35 x V1 = 3 x 1000 35 x V1 = 3000 V1 = 3000/35 V1 = 85.7ml IMPORTANT STEP: V2-V1 = water volume 1000 - 85.7 = 914.3ml So to get 1L of 3% H202 solution you need to add 85.7ml of 35% H2O2 to 914.3ml water
  12. h2o2 actually oxidises the proteins in the fungus effectively burning it off, when it oxidises its releases oxygen the rest of whats left degrades into O2 & H2O
  13. @LukeS correct, same thing, it works by raising the ph of the leaf to a point where the fungus cannot survive. but its not a good idea for flower, i've used H2O2 many times with amazing results, its good for the plants. you need to start with a 35-50% H2O2 solution & dilute it to 3% -theres a formula for this, let me know if you want to go this route & i'll post it. just make sure you spray early morning before lights or just before they switch off
  14. @Pat999 i know this is a contested issue, do you not lose potency when you start taking clones of clones? ive never gone beyond a second gen of clones, whats your experience with this?
  15. you should start treating it immediately, hydrogen peroxide foliar spray @ 3% will get rid of most of it, just before lights on/off with fan, then budwash after
  16. @Dank defs seen strain hunters! havent seen the swazi ep though. my thoughts exactly, rather than growing out 1000s of plants let the breeders do the tedious work. I'm thinking now after your comments, a Kilimanjaro x DP could be a good start. always keen for beans! I'll start my research on this now, when i get some beans & good males i'll send you some pollen! I was originally looking for rooibard tbh, but i cant seem to find anything legit at all
  17. @Dank nice! ya maybe i should look into just buying genetics & starting from there, i been strain hunting with very little luck lol
