The transplant went smooth with no strange issues... On the slow burn but going well.

Question to the gurus... Should I let them stretch out some more or start topping soon? Grow is slower than many others on here as I move them in and out of garage when there's some nice sun shine in Cape Town like today! Nutes.... doesn't seem like they need any at the moment as the soil I got in Ottery seems on point, like the lady said. I'll also need to get going on a plan for bigger growbox as they've outgrown the little lightly salted Lays grow box and Stork seedling pots I don't feel comfortable moving them permanently to back garden as temps and weather is not leka right now... got some other beans that I'll start late Aug-Sept that will go straight to the garden busy preparing that space bit by bit and started stocking up on soil for it as well. Here's holding thumbs that they'll be girls!

Transplant time... Going into 10L buckets... Used the Stork seedling pots to keep the same shape and just flipped them out and to their new homes

When will be the right time to top the bigger one? Should I let them go a bit longer?

Going good...

So decided to snip those dreary looking bottom leaves and they seem to like it alot! Progress is ok seeing how crappy Cape Town weather is at the moment but they look healthy.
-
So the tall one didn't make it but the other two is doing well...
-
They bounced back quite nicely in the past 2 days! The tall lanky one...the jury still out there but I'm happy thus far
-
Where to start...? Left them out in the sun as I normally do when there is some...got on with some other chores....aaaand the fukn neighbors cat got hold of them and tipped over all 4 pots! FFS! Lost one seedling a days later the other looks a bit sketchy and 2 of them looks like its on recovery path and starting to veg
-
Can the gurus offer some advice on progress...? Replaced the previous soil with new soil which seems to have way less bark chips in it... The nursery said this is a mix they learned from the Rastas and it has everything needed in the mix. I might have damaged the roots on 2 of the plant whilst changing soil so hope effects won't be too dire.

Slight discoloration of the bottom 2 leaves on one plant something to worry about? They've been under lights since 8 this morning as it crappy weather in Cape Town. Last watered yesterday morning and bucket weight doesn't feel too light to water them just yet....

These were taken tonight 20190530_201326 20190530_201344 Some perspective of how long the 2 day old sprouts is compared to the 7 day old shorter ones 20190530_201538 20190530_201430 20190530_201601 20190530_201622 20190530_201649 20190530_201657 20190530_201636 20190530_201622 Weather's been cloudy in Cape Town today and they've been under lights in my makeshift little grow box for 12 hours straight and to my eyes looks like they doing ok

No idea... two seeds I got from my brother in law's friend who's got a wendy house with lights setup in his yard...the first sprouts The other two leggy young ones I got from a neighbour who said it was "outdoor"

Will do Sir! Been told to wait until third node or so

Thanks for the tip. I'm getting some other soil this at a nursery in Ottery which is already mixed with "everything Cannibus needs" so will transplant this weekend

So curiosity bit me and VERY fascinated by these plants when flowering and thought I'd give it a very cheap go! Bare in mind I'm not a pro or as well prepared as most guys here so here goes... Bought some cheap potting soil, compost, vermiculite and Nitrosol and started germination process Mixed the compost 40% Soil 40% and vermiculite 20% Put germinated seeds in 1kg Stork butter tubs They get sunlight when available during the day and will go under lights in a little makeshift growbox until strong enough to transplant to bigger 10L pts. progress up to now is going ok and I don't know what strand they are as I got them and was simply told its outdoor These looks like two different strands as 2 more leggy ones was germinated a week later but has longer stems than the others... The smaller ones sprouted 22 May so 7 days ol The leggy ones sprouted yesterday morning

Been lurking for a while soaking up the awesome info here like a sponge! Nice to have a local forum to turn to for info and help! Started an outdoor grow, not sure what strand it is but just as a precursor or test run to get familiar with growing. All this basically stemmed from growing some chili and a few other veg and herb for home use.
