Alright nice, so a fan going to let the pollen spread. I am in two minds about a fan in my tent for air circulation, I am leaning towards no fan to help prevent pollen from getting out the tent... I was referring to the plant receiving the pollen, although I can see the pistils are starting to brown, so that means they've received pollen. I forgot you're using the same plant to create pollen and to pollinate (make seeds).
-
Only if it extracts out - my issue is the pollen being spread throughout my house and getting inside my flower tent with the plants I do not want to pollinate. Very risky business, I know, I hope I do not end up accidentally pollinating my other flowering plants. I'd rather have the plants suffer a bit with high temps and RH for a few days then pollen everywhere. The plants will survive.

It's not just about brightness though
-
Nice! I will probably have pollen sacs popping by the end of this week then. Are you letting the pollen do its things or are you assisting and trying to brush some onto pistils yourself? Have you noticed a change in colour on any of the pistils yet?

I don't feel there is much need to feed kelpak once the plants are bigger. More for seedlings / clones.

So confirmed that the Daq Lime has lots of pollen sacs all over it, I did another and probably final (will see) STS spray on Saturday evening (last night). Still no signs of flowering on either of the Charlottes Angel plants. I purchased another tent today which I will use for pollinating the plant - so both Daquari Lime plants will be placed inside that tent together, the conditions will be harsh (no extraction or intake) so I expect humidity to be high and the temps to be high too, I may water the plants less while they're inside there and it will just be used until the pollen has dropped and been spread on the female plant to pollinate her. I do need to get a few things to finish up some lights for this tent though. I then plan on culling the pollen donor (STS sprayed plant) and then spraying down the newly pollianted female before placing her back into the usual spot and continuing with flowering her. I will then spray down the tent outside most likely with a host pipe and leave it to dry before bringing it back inside or using it for another plant. This tent can double as a drying tent if need be, so it could serve dual purposes! I really have no clue how long until the pollen sacs open and drop pollen.

THC as effective medicine.

@Totemic any further updates? -
Those are just pistils, does not mean she is flowering. If just outside, she will continue to veg until next year sometime when the hours of daylight become less.

Haha, imagine me!

Could these be pollen sacks I see? Will monitor and check again on Saturday. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Bump, last chance.... I also have a Northern Lights I can clone and a Ghost Train Haze from Rare Dankness.

Looking great! Eager to see the bud grown under these lights!

Day 72 / Day 20 of flower So I took some photos last night after doing a light defoliation to remove some leaves which were stopping light from reaching bud sites and after a nice watering. Finally, some proper updates of each plant. Bagseed: Bruce Banner: CBD Critical Mass: GDP: GSC: Chocolope: Then below are some pics of the plants in the tent, they're really crammed inside there. Having 6 in that small space is not ideal I feel it will affect my yields. Especially without a scrog net - next time I would like to use my scrog net, I have an idea now on how to water the ones in the back with the scrog net. Also I took measurements of two of my tallest plants. CBD Critical Mass: Bruce Banner:

I agree 100%, that scrog is looking tops. The canopy is extremely uniform. I really need to use my scrog net next time!

Yea, lighting makes a huge difference! Be it the sun or the quality of your grow lights, never something you want to skimp on!
-
Looking great! Have you been doing a low 1.2EC feed all along or how high did you increase their feed to and what did it consist of?
-
Geez, that is very low. Are you running extraction without a carbon filter?
-
Just make sure you're not in the shop when that happens.
-
Does the water get drained out or do you leave it in the tent?
-
Not even gonna date this, but two of the plants (bag seed & CBD Critical Mass) are starting to get a little frosty. I have now set the LED's to 380W as the plants seem to be enjoying it. They bounce back soo quickly after moving them around and messing with them. I feel 380W is excessive for the small area I have... But I am able to do so, so let's see.

Looks like wood lice, I do not think they are good. A google search seems to say they eat the roots of plants, bio neem seems to be a solution. Perhaps pyrol too if you want something organic. But I could be very wrong about what it is. Regardless, I feel Bio Neem is a decent organic pesticide for a lot of common pests. Pyrol is a good alternative too.

Awesome to see, thanks for taking a knock and testing it out for all of our benefit. I have 2x Daquari Lime plants too, they really like to stretch and grow tall!

Nice man and welcome to the forum! Once you get a proper tent, it does make life easier. Humidity is often difficult to control, unless you have a dehumidifier. After watering the RH rises and slowly decreases as the pots dry out. What lights are you using and nutrients?

I personally like the science behind it, helps me make a more informed decision. The problem with LED's is that an LED light is not an LED light. If you compare 2 LED lights, both with an total draw of 240W from the wall for example, both 3500k for example. The results you get can vary greatly between them! A CFL is a CFL, an HPS is an HPS. The same does not apply to LED's, it's all about the diodes. Gotta compare the diodes with one another.
