  1. I see, alright thanks. So probably best to treat the STS / CS as a foliar spray. I was thinking of maybe spraying the top of the canopy - so leaves and new growth sites and then continuing to spray the nodes on the 3 branches I have marked. Although am thinking it may be best to just spray the entire plant - top canopy and the branches where the nodes are. I think I will try the canopy and then the 3 marked branches and see what happens.
  2. I thought the effects were localized, only worked where you sprayed it. The guides I'v read tell you to spray the nodes and not the leaves - so I may have been doing it wrong. @Totemic do you have any experience with STS? Perhaps know the correct way to apply it, whether its localized or not? If I could just spray the leaves on the top canopy, that'll be much easier!
  3. So you spray the entire plant, leaves and nodes? Do you focus on the nodes or not even? Perhaps you focus on just the canopy? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Just flip to flower very early? You lost me with regards to your math... Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. I did another spray tonight, although I mixed up a fresh batch from my Part A & Part B mixtures and I also added a wetting agent to help the solution stick to the plant. Still no sign of balls. I did a bit of a defoliation, mostly on the Indica's (Charlotte's Angel). Still no signs of flowering on the Charlottes Angel, only the Daiquari Lime. I'm hoping I didn't mess up the initial Part A & Part B solutions as I'd expect to have seen something on the Daiquari Lime as its showing pistils and etill likely start flowering soon too... Id love to get some pollen from both so I can cull the pollen donors as my veg room is getting very cramped. I have some LED light strips which I want to add to the veg room as currently light distribution isn't ideal due to the size and a Number of plants in the area... Not to mention height differences. 6. Day 68 / Day 16 of flower Did a watering and a shuffled (rotated in their spot) the plants to try optimize bud sites getting light. I also increased power going to my LED's mostly to test the heatsinks and their cooling and so far all good. Will increase again sometime soon and monitor. I'll then bring it down again as I do not feel so much power is needed in such as mall space and the efficiency of the LED's end up diminishing fairly quickly. 7. Move the plant to a different area in the tent, further away from the fan and airflow and give it a few days. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  8. Perhaps too much airflow going past the one plant? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  9. I was actully recently wondering how the fark people grew in PC cases as they're small and my plants are faaaar bigger than a PC case. In less than a month it would have outgrown the PC case. How do you do it? How much yield do you actually get? Times are changing and things are evolving. Naturally you will get some products which are better than others and with LED's in particular that can be hard to tell whats what as they can look the exact same, however differ greatly in performance just by using a new diode which is more efficient. Compare the diodes on those cheap strips you get at a China mall to a Samsung LM301B for example - which is still up there among some of the best, cost effective LEDs for growing.
  10. How close to the fan is that one plant? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  11. But why is it mostly the bottom leaves then, not the top leaves which are newer and closer to the light?
  12. I'd say wait a bit longer. My one Chocolope seed took a good 4 or so days longer to sprout than the rest of the seeds. So far I have only had 1 seed not germinate, I did not see any cracks etc. and kept it for pretty long before giving up on it. Eventually I had to toss it.
  13. Where did you order the dehumidifier from and was it significantly cheaper? Looking good though!
  14. Hahaha, I had the exact same issue! Started out with way more plants than I could flower as I used reg seeds. So also gave some plants away. Feminized seeds makes life much easier.
  15. I had to google what that was, Fermented Plant Juices? How do you ensure you get the nitrogen high during veg and then the phosphate high during flower? Curious to see how that works out for you, please keep us posted!
  16. @highchome I was actually meaning to post an update here. I have noticed that the 4 corners are not getting droplets on the stems and those cuttings were not looking happy so I get rid of them. The rest are looking amazing! Even praying. I am not sure when a bendable diffuser is or how it differs to an air stone so cannot comment there. I am happpy with the airpump, it has 2 settings BTW and you can switch between then on the side, so perhaps yours was set to the lower setting? It's really cheap, If you could get 3 airstones I reckon the corners would be sorted but I don't need to take this many cuttings so will just keep the 4 corners unoccupied. I also got some rooting hormone powder today, going to try the powder over the gel next time. My current clones do not have any rooting hormone.
  17. I do not think you will have any issues growing the Indica strains, even outdoors in our summer. No different compared to a Sativa strain. I am not aware of Indica strains not growing nicely in warmer climates, what are your concerns?
  18. Day 64 / Day 12 of Flower Snapped a quick pic this morning, plants are looking good and recovering well from the defoliation. I had to raise 2 of the plants though. Was too lazy to remove it for the pic.
  19. They're drying out quickly and weren't looking great but I watered them last night as well and they're looking happier today. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Tonight was the 4th STS spray. Still no signs of balls from what I can see. I should have marked a few branches and just sprayed / focused on those from the beginning. I have since marked 3 branches and will be spraying the main stem too. I'll continue to spray until I see balls or until I feel its really too late and nothing is happening. I need to mix another batch of Sts from my part a and part b solutions. Next spray will be Sunday. I'll probably mix the next batch then too. I may try add more soap as the solution does seem to roll off the plants quite easily. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  21. Hey all, I have the following clones waiting to root which I will be keen to trade, for other clones or seeds: Seedsman CBD Critical Mass Bruce Banner #3 Grandaddy Purple x Bruce Banner #3 Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint) x Bruce Banner #3 Totemic Chocolope Bagseed plant Drop me a PM if you are keen and please state what you have / are willing to trade.
  22. @CreX did some measurements on his 250W HPS and the actual draw from the wall was 650W - that is stupid. Let's say 1560w to run a 600W HPS. That is 1.56kw per hour. 12 hours a day brings us to 18.72Kwh 30 days a month ends up at 561.6kwh Let's work on a rough R2.20 per kwh, brings you to R1 235.52 per month. I wouldn't consider HPS, I love my LED's too much. The efficiency is tops and the lack of heat and the extra height you can gain etc. 480W of decent LED's would equal a 600W HPS give or take. Let's say you have an efficiency of around 95% I think that will work out to a draw of around 504W from the wall. The end result costs you R427.68 per month to run the LED's. It's really a very easy choice to make. In a few months you'd have made your money back on the LED's compared to the HPS.
  23. Where did you get the accessories from and what else is available?
  24. Nice! Are you / do you plan on giving nutes with the OM soil and your soil? Or are you hoping for them to be super soils and not require any additional nutes? I personally give nutes with my OM soil.
