I did not have a chance to spray the STS last night, so will try do it tonight. Having to do it before lights out makes it a bit tricky at the moment as I am rather busy and not always home. The auto's are growing really well though! So will try spray and take pics tonight for you guys, I am getting a bit worried as I have not yet seen any balls and am not sure how long it takes for the balls to ripen and drop pollen either - a bit concerned there will not be enough time for the seeds to filly mature.

I believe Trailblazer420 got his from Dischem. It was the highest ppm he could find. The alternative to CS is STS, but it can be a bit expensive. I'm giving it a try at the moment. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Wow, as soon as a few days. So how long from when you first saw balls to them opening? Would be nice to have a rough time line for my plants. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

It stops the production of Ethylene which from what I recall and this causes the plant to produce male parts and pollen. If you have a plant which hermies, the seeds are more likely to hermie as well. With STS or CS, since the pollen is not created due to stress, the chance of higher hermies from seeds is heavily reduced. @Trailblazer420 very nice! Mine are not showing balls yet, how long until the balls have ripened and drop pollen?

I have read that cutting leaves / removing leaves can help the plant root quicker, less energy spent on photosynthesis and more on forming roots. I took some cutting and they had roots pushing through the jiffy pellets after 2 weeks, they're almost 3 weeks old now and in soil already. Although I am about to build a bubble cloner, so will see how that works in comparison. I try and ensure few / small leaves on my clones. Below is a pic of 2 cuttings I took tonight, before I cut / their leaves off, the tips mostly. I put them straight into soil though in this case.

@420SA if you look at Hawaiin Baby Wood Rose seeds for example, you can purchase that off eBay. Nothing really stops a minor from ordering some, why is cannabis different or what am I not getting? Popularity aside, why is it that HBWR seeds are not a problem but cannabis it? How come nobody is stopping kids from purchasing and consuming the HBWR seeds? If kids want to do something, they're gonna do it and more often than not I think it is the attention drawn to something they should not do which most likely makes them curious and want to do it even more. It intrigues them. If there is no fuss made about it, it's more of a "who cares" type of thing.

Depends which products you are comparing as well.

https://www.cannabist.co.za/product/230w-quantum-board-led-grow-light/ Worth considering, proper authentic Samsung LED diodes and comes with a heatsink and driver etc. Or the smaller one if you'd prefer: https://www.cannabist.co.za/product/130w-quantum-board-led-grow-light/

First time this has happened I assume? Keep us posted!

Alright, as long as it work and 370g dry from 2 plants is good, they vegged for how long? 2 months?

Welcome and enjoy your stay!

Quite the jungle you got there! You gonna add more lights and raise them or what do you plan on doing?
-
Doubt it's due to the CBD. I have a Seedsman CBD Critical Mass and it is currently the biggest plant I have.

I wouldn't get blurple lights. The chinese have some good Quantum Boards at very reasonable prices.

Wait, so you cannot use any fish for aquaponics? The GF keeps bugging me and wanting to get a Siamese fighter, put it in a bowl and then stick a plant on top of it and I think the fish will die cuz I have no clue what to do so have been against it.

Nice, been quite a while though. I can't see any balls on my plants yet, using STS. Hopefully something by this weekend. Have you stopped spraying and waiting for growth now? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I know Fish Mix can be sprayed as foliar spray, but only at 1 - 2ml per liter. Not sure about grow and 3ml sounds a bit high. I'd stop that, reduce the concentration a bit.

Did you spill any nutes on the plant at any point by mistake or perhaps spray it with something? What nutes are you feeding it and how much, how often etc? Just seems to be the older growth, not the newer growth?
-
It's a smallish amount though, once diluted in the water is it really going to cause a lot of harm to the microbes though? Not as if it's going directly into the concentrated pH up / down solution though. Also I always avoid using too much of it - like overdoing the pH down and then using pH up to bring it back up etc. I'd rather toss out the mixture and redo it if I mess up like that.
-
Not actually sure how much truth is behind this. I PH my water with pH Up / Down as I had massive without without doing so - ended up with some pH lockout. I have done microbe inoculations with EM Pro soil, also I use trichoderma and mycorhizzal fungi as well as some other fugcal insecticides and such... Whether it is all in vain due to the PH up / down, I am not sure but I don't think so.

Welcome! Looking good! Please do keep us posted with the grow.

I am currently using BioBizz, although want to try some powder nutes sooner than later. Heard that the Hortimix can work pretty well, so might give it a go - otherwise will see what the Green House Feeds is all about.

So this is my first auto flower grow and I am starting to get a bit of a feel for the autoflowers and how they differ. I did a bit of LST to the one Daquari Lime and removed a few leaves and then tucked some, I much prefer working with it over the Charlottes Angel which is an Indica.I feel it's easier to manage and train as it's not as busy - which makes me want to defoliate it heavily and tie down all branches after topping it... Don't want to stunt it though. Still no signs of balls, next spray should be on Wednesday. Hoping I do not have issues with the Daquari Lime considering the one started showing pistils a few weeks ago already and the others are only showing now. I'd rather lose the bud and get seeds with this grow.

Day 54 / Day 2 of Flower Plants are looking good, the lolipopping didn't seem to bother them much. I have put the clips and such back for some further LST to get them as I want through this stretch period.
