My humidity isn't a problem, especially around watering time. If anything it's going to be higher than it should be during flowering. Gonna try increase the extraction fan speed. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Day 52 I defoliste the plants relatively heavily (or lolipipped them). I also adjusted my timer, so tomorrow will be their first day of 12/12 and then they'll officially be in flowering. I did swap out a few plants in my flower tent, I have the following in there: GSC X BB3 GDP X BB3 BB3 Chocolope CBD Critical Mass Bagseed I gave them their last full veg feeding at 4ml fish mix / L. Worked out to around 0.9 EC, without calmag etc. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Hard to tell, looks like new bud sites. Keep monitoring it. I've attached a close up shot of what the pistils look like. It's those two white hair like things just over centre to thr left. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

A hydroponic lab, WTF. Ultimately it is the money which will probably play one of the bigger roles in putting them behind bars as that amount in cash is not something commonly seen and hard to prove it was not from the weed. I hate the term "dagga", call it what it is! Cannabis. In that one pic it looks like a vacuum pump, so I assume for making BHO and purging the butane. I assume a closed loop system or whatever they're called.

Agreed, a pic under normal white light and closer up if possible. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

@Blue Cheese I have purchased from Sacred Seeds two or three times and always received great service and never had any doubts about the seeds authenticity. All seeds have come in their original packaging, fully sealed etc. The packaging has been fully sealed too (Dutch Passion came in the tins with the original DP packets inside, fully sealed) and the Seedsman came in their fully sealed bags which had no tears on them).

Thanks man, I really hope so. Will post up dry weight at the end, curious to see what grams per watt I will be pulling as well.

Just a quick update. Plants are looking good, I'm going to flip this weekend I think. Will also swap out a plant in my flower tent. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So they seem to have grown quite a bit, especially the Daiquari Lime. Worried I'm not gonna get pollen in time for that one, may consider spraying it for pollen and then try pollinate the other - not sure. Might just leave it and hope for the best. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

It's best used from seed as less I then required. Nice to get the mycorrhizal started as soon as possible. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So I did another spray of STS on Mo nday, and then took some pics yesterday. Will do my next spray on Friday / Saturday.

Welcome back! Totally understandable and given the circumstances nobody can expect you to neglect your family.
-
It could be poor genetics / unstable genetics leading to the deformed leaves. I also have some DP Auto Euforia, have not tried to grow any out yet though. So you want to add companion plants into the same pot? Are you using any mycorrhizal fungi or trichoderma?
-
What's wrong with the Euforia autos and what do you mean by the "competition"? Also use a loupe or scope to check the Trichome for when to harvest. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Welcome and enjoy your stay!

So that was then due to nute burn / toxicity and not light burn. Glad you found the issue. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Yea, if going for CFLs then you'd probably need the larger ones for anything larger than a seedling. With CFLs, multiple smaller ones are not equivalent to a single larger one. For larger plants, I agree that QB's or COB are awesome, but the LED tubes aren't too pricey and. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Your thoughts on those CFLs vs the LED tubes? Neither are ideal for anything larger than a seedling I'd imagine. The LED's won't require a ballast and starter though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Day 46 Plants are doing well, I am intrigued by the way the CBD Critical Mass is growing still, quite different compared to the others and looks a bit different too - not in a bad way, just different. I have not flipped to flower yet, will be doing so soon though, I am getting impatient. I need to make sure my current clones get rooted first and then I need to take some more clones and then I can flip. The bagseed has stayed very short compared to the other plants, despite being older. They're all in the same environment. I like the way the canopy has formed on the bagseed. The GDP #2 is not in the tent, it's in the veg room. It seems to have gotten stunted after repotting - perhaps I fucked up with it. GDP #1 is not showing it's sex yet, although is not stunted. So if GDP #1 is a female then I will continue with that and cull or give away GDP #2. I have stopped the LST with GDP#2 until I get confirmation of sex. Perhaps it seems silly to get rid of a GDP when I have a bagseed going, but I feel I have committed soo much time and effort into the bagseed that I may as well flower it and see what it yields, I have not taken any clones of it so have no way of ever growing it again and obviously no way of knowing what it is. The mystery is rather exciting to a point, not something I'll do again in a hurry - if ever again.
-
So a quick update, the plants are looking much better now! Charlottes Angel #2 has recovered nicely. I have deiced to continue with the LST on the Daquari Lime #1 and it's responding very well and I like the growth it's showing. The Daquari Lime is growing very differently compared to the Charlottes Angel which appears to be bushier and not wanting to grow as tall. Both strains are meant to be Sativa dominant. The next spray will happen on Monday evening if all goes to plan.

Hey all, I've got a question regarding auto flowers, something I've been wondering about. Autoflowers are often advertised as seed to harvest in 12 weeks (3 months). Although with photoperiod plants, when you flip to flower you normally have to flower for 8 to 12 weeks and you use the colour of the trichomes to tell when the plant is ready. Now I believe autoflowers also change to amber but does the change in trichome colour happen quicker with autos? Hlor how is it possible to harvest within 3 months? For example let's say a photoperiods trichomes turn from clear to milky after 7 weeks of flowering. Would an autoflower turn from clear to milky after say 3 weeks? I know it can be strain specific, but let's say its the same strain which was bred with ruderalis to make it an auto. Does the extra hours of light which autos get help speed up the process or what's the story? How does it work? I've been pondering this particularly for my project where I'm spraying some autos with STS to reverse them and get seeds, but also just in general. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So a taller / bigger plant does not equal higher yield? A bushier plant which is flatter could yield more as it will be able to get more light overall? Basically it can have a wider canopy to absorb more light? Being flatter will help keep the light output equal between the entire plant as opposed to just the main cola?

Hey all, So @Master_G and I were talking last night and he likes to raise his LED's very high to get his plants to stretch a bit. I have been keeping my LED's lower and in turn keeping the plants a bit bushier and shorter. Now, by letting the plants stretch a bit more you end up with a plant which is a bit bigger, if both plants are given the same amount veg time etc. How would this affect the yield of the plants though? Would getting a bit of stretch be recommended as the extra size from the plant will most likely lead to bigger yields or will the yields likely be similar? He also does not do any training where I am trying some LST, so that affects plant size too. I guess what I am getting at is, if you have two clones of the same size and you put them both under the same LED light - but the lights are at different heights. Therefore causing the one plant to stretch a bit more, everything else done the exact same which is more likely to yield more?
-
Yeah, extra light def affects the way a plant stretches. Turn up the power and you gotta move them higher obviously, but if you keep your lights at a certain distance it almost forces the plant to stay bushier. At least that's what's happened with my plants, not a bad thing but can be a bit tricky when working with them at times. Noted on the milk and peroxide, I must be careful with my secret jardin tent then too. Does your extraction run 24/7 or does it turn off with the lights? I keep mine running 24/7 and haven't really had issues with RH much.
