  1. Ahh ok, was that their first feeding with nutes? I don't know nitrosol. You trying to put the plants outside for light? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  2. Nice, when do you plan on giving nutrients?
  3. I looked into that a while ago and they were all more expensive than a TV. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Try find the highest PPM when you get colloidal silver @Trailblazer420 has had success with 20ppm. Also best to reverse one plant (put the colloidal silver on it to get it to produce balls and pollen) and then use that pollen to pollinate another plant, this is a better practice in terms of genetics and such I believe. Instead of Colloidal Silver you can use STS (Silver Thiosulfate Solution) as well, although it is a bit pricier for the chemicals needed and a bit more tricky to work with. It only needs to be sprayed once every 5 days and since you mix the ratios yourself, can be made stronger. I personally will be trying it with STS, have the chemicals just waiting for some auto's to reach the right age and then will mix up a batch and start spraying.
  5. Why have they not done this with Cannapax? Someone needs to tell Xoli about Cannapax.
  6. Agree 100%. I'll happily remove the built in antenna in the TV if it were possible and required.
  7. Welcome! Keen to see some of your grows and learn from all your years of experience!
  8. How else are they going to get money for their fire pools, fancy cars and Nandos meals? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  9. We don't know yet, have to wait for the laws to be written. If something happens, a judge has to decide whether it can be justified as personal use or not. So you need to be able to motivate it at least. Nothing set in stone though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  10. It's all good "investing" money into the batteries although the lifespan on the batteries is the issue. They don't last, chances of you getting more than 5 / 6 years out of the batteries is very unlikely and as they age their capacity decreases to. You can use a car as an example, the ones with stop / start which use the agm batteries often have a lifespan of around 5 years. The not flooded lead acid batteries, often 2 to 3 years lifespan. Naturally thr AGM batteries are more expensive and their usage in a car vs a solar system which is constantly being charged and power drawn will affect the lifespan. Batteries have limited cycles. They also have a limited shelf life, so even with it not being used it will degrade over time. Having a smaller setup for load shedding can be done with a couple of grand, although off the grid is very different. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  11. Nice, so seems to be working? You plan on breeding the plant with itself or? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  12. I'm sure you'd be able to get stuff couriered to you. I'm using Biobizz for nutrients. Since I'm doing the organic soil route decided to get some em pro soil (a microbe inoculant) and then I also got some kelpak and CalMag. The em pro drops you pH super fast! So best to have something on hand to bring it up and a decent pH pen. There are quite a few online shops, the main two which come to mind are Grow Guru and Hydroponic.co.za Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  13. I'd love one, just the price is high for the average joe who grows for himself.
  14. Its something I was debating and doing quite a bit of research on and I was deciding between 3500k or perhaps even two separate lights for veg and flower or adding extra blue or extra red and after more research decided just to go for the 3000k lights. Go take a look at my two grow diaries (the normal one and the indoor grow odd one), they've all been under the 3000K light only. They're very bushy and not stretching at all, very healthy looking despite the few mistakes I've made with pH and such. The amount of blue light needed is really not much at all. I personally feel purchasing a 4000k light is a waste as its not needed for veg and isn't ideal for flowering either. During flowering is when the plants need the most intense light anyways and they want more red than blue spectrum then. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  15. I run "full spectrum" 3000K LED's and have no issue, will be used for both veg and bloom.
  16. I recall a member on this forum stating the twists could be due to temperature and/or RH, I also suspect it could be genetics. Especially if the other seedlings are the same age and are not doing the same. Is there perhaps a fan which blows directly over some of the plants or something to that affect?

    Grow Tents

Would you sell to the end user / consumer?

    LIGHT BURN?

I highly doubt that, considering the limited space people have indoors getting 1KG dry out of a single plant is very unlikely. Most would prefer multiple smaller plants for indoor. On an outdoor grow I can imagine 1KG dry from a single plant.
  19. Looks much better with the extra lighting. Did you purchase one or two of the boards Mr E had up for sale? Also how much power are you giving them and the height from the LED's to your plants?
  20. So was speaking to GK and I may even try growing some on Agar and then using that to inoculate the roots as opposed to growing it with millet in soil. I could then even try isolate to a specific "strain" which colonizes very fast and just keep that alive - but that is quite a bit of effort, so doubt I will go that route. I'll probably need to find my still air box if I go the agar route.
  21. So then if I want to keep some inoculant / spores for later, I can dry the roots out I guess? Although with fresh mycorrhizal, the mycelium is alive and will help colonize quicker I assume? Millet is found in bird seed? So I can just buy a bag of that instead of looking for some millet seeds, right?

    LIGHT BURN?

Geez, 1200W lights which are actually 240W. Massive difference. I don't run my QB's at max, although way higher than 25%. Running mine around 75%
  23. Day 33 I feel this is a bit boring as the pics are so similar, once I have culled the plants I think it will be a bit better as I will have fewer plants to update on and can start showing things in a bit more detail per plant. Having this amount of plants is quite a lot of work! I got my bigger LED driver on Thursday and got around to installing it earlier today, so my QB's are now being run at 333W, quite a bit more compared to the previous 180W. It was really needed as I repotted my plants on Saturday to their final 20L fabric pots and the extra space the pots take requires me to raise the lights to get a better spread, so the lights are still not being run at 100% which is 480W. I doubt I will run the lights at their full potential as there isn't much of a need for it. Probably 360 - 400W at most. I topped all the plants, with the exception of GDP #2 which is still very small and trimmed / pruned them and did some more LST. GDP #2 and GSC #3 were not repotted due to the fact that firstly I do not have more space for them if I put them into bigger pots and secondly GSC #3 is already in a slightly larger pot and GDP #2 is still on the small side and is doing fine in that pot for now. I really need the plants to start showing their sex as I need to cull some plants and reduce the amount I have. Most likely within the next 2 weeks and once that has happened I am thinking I will flip the plants into flower - will see how things go over the next 2 weeks although plants are growing pretty quickly now. I am feeding them at 2ml / L with BioBizz Fish Mix, stopped with the EM Pro as it's not really needed each watering. I used a bit of Cal Mag and Kelpak along the way too and have finally added some sort of extraction to my area as it was much needed due to the humidity being waaaay too high for too long and causing condensation running down the walls on a daily basis so that can only do the plants some good. I will most likely be connecting the fan to an RH probe with a relay to control the RH with the extraction fan and then connect my heater to the temp probe & relay as I feel it may work better than the built in thermostat in the heater itself. I am now using Organics Matter soil, I prefer it over the Freedom Farms soil and the plants I've had in the OM (Organics Matter) seemed happier too and less affected by the low PH I had been feeding them for a while. The fabric pots I got from Plant Matter are waaaay better than the ones from Grow Guru! Both in terms of quality and sizing, I wish I had not purchased the Grow Guru ones.
  24. Nice! What light(s) and nutrients are you using?
