  1. GMC aircon has been sold. The other two are still available
  2. List has been updated as to what is still available.
  3. @CreX Don't just like it, come give me your money and take one!
  4. If you are interested, let me know! Collection is preferable due to the weight and size - shipping would not be easy or cheap. Item: DeLonghi 12 000 BTU portable aircon (cooling & heating) Price: R2 500 Condition: Good, works 100% but does not have a remote. I still have the ducting for the hot air. The DeLonghi has not been used in the grow room, so usage has not been 24/7 and has been limited to summer in the bedroom (mostly at night for a bit). Item: GMC 12 000 BTU portable aircon (cooling, heating & drying) Price: R3 500 Condition: Great! Has the remote & ducting. SOLD Item: Defy 12 000 BTU portable aircon (cooling, heating & drying) Price: R1 800 Condition: Fair, a bit noisy if the fan swivels and the cap for the water tank has been lost. Still have the ducting though and the aircon works perfectly otherwise. SOLD
  5. Looking good. You don't need to flush, difference if negligible, if even any. Although doing so won't harm the plant either. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Good that you are actually trying out these things for yourself to see what works best. Not many challenge and put these theories to test. Will save you time and money in the long run for sure.
  7. Reveg would take approx 2 weeks I think. Recovery around 2 weeks as well. Keep us updated! Keen to see the harvest come through in the end.
  8. Hmm, yes and no. I really feel it depends on what you are using, if one is using plain coco (with or without perlite) and using some good nutes such as GHE, simply PHing your feed correctly and following the feeding chart on the bottle gets you pretty much where you need to be without issues and consistency will be phenomenal. Very simple and easy. Although if you try do your own thing and are not 100% sure about what you are doing, it can be dangerous and you can quickly run into issues - but the issues can generally be fixed quickly too. When using soil, there are soo many variables. Whatever the compost is being made of will change the composition of the nutes in the soil and slight tweaks to the quality of the amendments and other ingredients being added to the soil mix will change it. Consistency is not always there, the bigger soil brands are typically a bit better with their consistency ("cannabis soil"). Then the differences between soil brands is huuuuge and will cause all sorts of issues if one purchases an inferior soil. However with a good soil, there is often more room for error as underfeeding can be supplemented by the nutes in the soil and they often add amendments to help buffer the soil (not perfect) and so forth. I think for me, the inconsistency and never quite knowing with soil is what leads me to go for coco, along with the quicker growth and coco being a cheaper medium (store bought soil vs store bought coco). If something is consistent, even if it is not perfect (not saying this is the case), you at least know and can work around it and plan for it. Inconsistencies introduce a whole new ball game into play and the it becomes are bigger challenge and are often a lot more difficult to pin point and remedy. So I guess to sum it up. There are pros and cons to both. Coco can offer better consistency than soil, can be super easy to grow in although when experimenting or not following what works you can run into issues quickly. I like to think of Coco as a blank canvas. Soil on the other hand, consistency can be pretty good too and offers a buffer of sorts but if shit hits the fan, it can often be more difficult to pin point the cause of the issue and remedy it. Perhaps more of a bicycle with training wheels, when the wheels fall off it can be a bit chaotic. Ultimately, you need to know what you are doing and what you are working with. Experience will ensure one can pick up on issues quickly as well as pin point them and remedy them.
  9. How long were they in flower for? They may need to reveg as well which will further delay their recovery. Just something to keep in mind, going to require a bit of patience, but you shall get there and we will ensure the plants are happy and recover nicely! The harvest in the end will be worth it

I have been using Protek Spray Film 10, but could not find it the other day and got a bottle of Effekto G49 wetter, then proceeded to burn my plans with it as I just drizzled a bit into the bottle and did not measure properly. I found the Spray Film a few days later. The G49 is a lot more potent and dangerous than the Spray Film I am use to but works really well, might consider just using the G49 going forward once the Spray Film is finished. G49 is easier to find as well.
  12. @DamDave A challenge means you are learning which can be fun and exciting! It means next time will be better. If it were me personally, I'd keep the plants in veg as right now you will barely get any yield from them and you've already spent quite a bit of time and effort to get them this so. So I'd keep them in veg, get them right and happy and let them bulk up and when they are ready then flip to flower - the bud you get from the plants will be worth the effort I am sure, a nice reward after all the effort you're putting in. This right here is the perfect example as to why auto's are not the best idea for someone who has just started growing. Being a photoperiod, one can take their time and get get the plant happy and right and continue - just delays harvest a bit but at least the harvest will be decent. You want to monitor for new growth, keep in mind the roots will need to get established again and colder temps will slow down growth. May take a week or 2 though, remember to PH your feed to prevent lockout.
  13. @PippinTook As mentioned, if chemical is systemic then the plant will absorb it and it can remain active in the plant for a couple of weeks. How safe this spray is in terms of smoking the buds, I have no clue to be honest. The browning of pistils is likely caused by the spray. I'd say either chuck the garden gun, or keep it for ornamental plants around your house / property. Get some of the Efekto eco insect control and keep it for next time / just incase. Can be sprayed in veg and flower and works really well. Best to not spray 3 weeks before harvest though, always a good idea to do a preventative spray just before putting the plants into flower. Monitor the plants and see how they do Maybe try do some research on the active ingredients on the garden gun and see whether it may be harmful to smoke the bud on these plants and get a better understanding of how they work etc.

I often do mix things when spraying, very seldom is it a single product being sprayed on the plants. Even if its just Bio Impilo which I mix with the aqsf, so I always use a wetting agent. As you said, a wetting agent helps spread the liquid to fully cover the leaves and to help prevent the spray from rolling off the leaves, so I feel a wetting agent is still useful if one is just spraying aq sf. I have not noticed residue from spraying aq sf to be honest, although typically its the lower dose as a preventative spray. Sulfur leaves a bad residue, not pleasant and does not wash off easily once dry. Most of my sprays leave little to no residue, if you look closely you may notice some "wet marks" on the leaves and sides of the tent - like when you let rain dry on your cars windshield and you can see where the water droplets were.

I always use a wetting agent when I spray, only exception is when I spray cuttings. Im not too strict with ipm to be honest, I find I don't need to be and its more preventative. I've found what works for me. Once a week or every 2nd week for the AQ sf as preventative. If you have an infestation, if it'd in veg then use sulfur. If I'm flower then AQ sf at a higher dose, I think 20 to 25ml per L and 2 to 3 times a week and when it's under control then weekly. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

All for PM. The AQSF is used in flower (can even be used in veg, but it's safe to spray in flower). Coppersoap is only to be used in veg. BioSulfur is mainly for veg too, some use it in flower and say they can taste it in the buds and others say they don't notice it on the bud. I personally use sulfur for veg and AQSF when I'm in flower as a preventative spray. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  17. The roots look good and healthy, getting established nicely. Repotting may stunt them and increase recovery. Fabric pots will help the medium dry out quicker. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  19. I was laying in bed last night, wondering whether it was possible to tag oneself... It is! @PsyCLownWondered how much traction a thread like this would get
  20. Silly thread, who has tagged themselves. @PsyCLown Feel free to tag yourself
  21. Looks very cool, was the bud colourful too? So you freeze dried the fresh bud after cutting it, then pressed it once dry? Would freeze drying not remove a lot more moisture from the bud though? I know in terms of chemicals, freeze dried basically looks like a powder of sorts. @Green Leaf Organics Have you pressed any bubble hash for rosin?
