  1. Soo, something which I thought of and was curious to get some feedback from everyone else. I suffer from allergies at times, since I have moved over to dry trimming I find that when I trim my body really hates it. I sneeze a lot, runny nose, eyes get a bit iffy too - popping allergex helps but the allergex seems to be rather short lived and only lasts around 2 to 3 hours. I should probably look into an anti-histamine which lasts a bit longer. I guess this makes sense as I normally trim, then hold the bud close to my face to inspect better, then trim some more where needed and with dry bud the trichomes do go all over the place and the leaves if dry enough break into smaller pieces and I guess its the same as dust and pollen and all that other good stuff which my body dislikes. lol Although, I have also heard of people who feel nauseous from the smell of cannabis - be it while growing or dried. Some only with wet / growing cannabis and some only with the dry cannabis. Some get a headache from the smell, or certain cannabis smells. The GF is like this and when I use to wet trim, she could not be in the same room as me. Also I have heard of some people getting a bit of a rash / skin irritation when working with their plants if they have a t-shirt on and perhaps get some sticky trichomes on them or if they are defoliating and are all up in there with the leaves and such. Not sure what would cause this? Perhaps someone knows and could share with us? So just wondering how many of you have similar effects or reactions?
  2. How much longer until you pot the seedling and scrap the others? At least it makes choosing a plant easier.
  3. I do not have a favorite strain just yet, however at this point in time I am leaning towards the Sugarcane cut I have - beautiful pheno.... beautiful plant in general. Super frosty, easy to grow, easy to trim and smoke is decent. Will be growing out some more new strains shortly, then will start to narrow down. I am now finally at the point where I will start running the same strains again and on the odd occasion look at trying some new strains out. Scrap the stuff I do not like or do not enjoy growing.
  4. Eh, these were grown more for the fun of it and to see what some better autos could potentially do. I doubt I'll be growing more autos anytime soon. I prefer my photoperiods and are rather specific with what I'll be growing going forward. Not sure the breeders I want to grow strains from will be keen on just handing out their newer crosses for me to test, especially with me being all the way in sa and space is limited. In the states the testers run way more plants than I'm capable of doing unfortunately. Thanks though. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. Pan cyans contain psilocybin... You'd have to grow them yourself and yield is small compared to cubensis. Apparently twice as potent, so 1g can feel like 2g of cubes. A friend and I once were fortune enough to give it a try. After consumption it crept up on us and suddenly we were tripping balls. We both felt it had a different come up for sure compared to the usual cube. The rest being more or less the same, was an amazing experience and the setting worked quite nicely. Had some interesting adventures on that trip. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Hmm, drug testing... I think it depends what they test for. Companies need to embrace the change happening, what people do in their time off shouldn't really concern the company all that much - situation dependent. If people want to party and go ape shit over the weekend and take drugs, so what!? As long as it does not effect their work, why should they care? Cannabis becoming more and more acceptable, shouldn't be a problem as many are using it for medicinal reasons now too. Unfortunately some are still stuck in their own ways and some positions I can understand would require it, but that is the exception I feel and wouldn't apply to majority of people.
  7. I will let you guys know. I have the LSD-25 and the OG Kush to compare as well.
  8. For seedlings turn the first 2 knobs to 100% and leave the last one off (the COBs) and see how the plants do. If you are able to see how much power the light draws from the wall when setup like this, that would help us guide you a bit better as well.
  9. Interesting, I haven't sampled it yet. Just put it into a jar tonight and still gotta trim it. Will let you know once I've sampled some and how it compares to other bud. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  10. @jordz2203 Interesting light, not your average blurple. Is this the same light? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000056097180.html If so, I'd possibly run it as Sun mode without the COBs for seedling and early veg. COB's produce light which is quite focused, so strong intense light in a narrow area - it is not spread out much. So this could cause issues for the seedlings. Does any of the knobs control the COBs - the 6 bigger lenses on the outside?
  11. Welcome! 1000W with 3 knobs, sounds like a blurple light to me but I could be wrong. If it is a blurple light, chances are it is far from 1000W and is probably closer to 120W to 240W and not the most efficient LED light either. Post some pics and then we can confirm and advise further from there. Have your grown before or will this be your first grow? Autoflowers require things to be near perfect, if you stunt the plant your yields will be effected. Photoperiods are a lot more forgiving as you can continue to veg them until they are large enough and then flip to flower and still get a decent yield
  12. Nice! Keen to see how this grow turns out The Jet Fuel is the cutting we have seen grown by others on the forum or is this from seed / your own pheno?

That only makes 1 of us ...
  14. Looking good! I'd recommend adding some MPK to the mix for veg as well, although really up to you. If the nutes have worked well for you as you are doing them, perhaps stick to it for the comp and experiment afterwards.
  15. @DamDave Have any of the seeds sprouted yet?

I have not experienced that, I soak mine and let them get super wet. I like water to remain in the bowl after the pellet has expanded. Although the environment needs to be able to get rid of the water and the pellet needs to be able to dry up slowly, which typically happens in my case and then I spray them to add a bit of water now and then. Gotta have a fine balance between humidity and airflow. Warm, humid environment is perfect for mold and bacteria etc. Add a bit of airflow and it makes a big difference. You could also try adding a bit of trichoderma to help with damping off and some other issues if that is what you are experiencing although I typically only add once I pot my cuttings.
  17. If the branch has not died, I'd say leave it for now. Cannabis is great at recovering, I accidentally pretty much clean took off a branch on my one plant, just had a bit of the side hanging on still and it survived and repaired itself and produced great bud on that cola still. The break does not look bad, will likely fatten up that section and then see some explosive growth afterwards.

I have used them before and will use them again, I use what I have. Jiffy pellets or plugs both work well I find. I actually imported some rapid rooters from Amazon when I first started growing, back then was difficult to find these plugs locally. Jiffies were cheaper obviously. Now the plugs are relatively common luckily.
  19. I can recommend the USB microscopes. I have one and it's fantastic to use! Very nice clear picture of the trichomes. Not terribly expensive either, seen vendors stock them from R400. Not as cheap as a loupe but I struggle to use a loupe. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Not going to lie, I struggle to see whether those tirchomes are really milky or not with that picture. Although 51 days from seed to milky trichomes in flower is stupidly fast and seems a bit unrealistic I feel. If this is the indoor plant, to me that looks as if the plant still has a while to go but trichomes are the best way to tell. Do you perhaps have a loupe or microscope to get a more clear picture of the trichomes?
  21. What Prom has said is correct. After the pre-flowering / stretch phase the plant will stop creating more leaves and still start focusing on bud and further growth will stop, at this point you could remove them. However leaving them doesn't cause any harm either. For me it can get in the way of watering if I am doing it by hand, so I like to remove them if I am watering by hand. Automatic watering system, it doesn't make a difference. Although depending on how the training is going, I have temporarily tied down plants, particularly the autos I grew recently and once I was happy with how the side branches had caught up and considering the plant was going into flower I removed the twist ties and let the plant grow normally again and it kept its shape and structure pretty well. So it all depends on the situation and how the plant is responding to the training etc.
  22. The older T6 does not, I have had 3 generations of fans / controllers from AC Infinity. All of which were T6 fans. The first one only had 5 fan speeds and did not have a RH sensor, only temp... Quite an old model which no longer exists and since this model they split it to the T6 and S6. The next had the newer controller with 10 fan speeds but was DC and then the latest was the same controller with 10 speeds but EC motor. How to tell which one you have? Well, the EC motor has a cable coming from the fan to power everything. The older models have a SMPS brick (looks like a laptop charger) which connects to the controller. So basically wall plug connect to the controller on the older models. The newer EC motor has the wall plug connect straight to the fan itself.
  23. I think it will only be compatible with the newer fans which have EB motors and not the older ones which had DC motors. The EB motors have their own separate plug and this powers the controller. The older DC motors had a SMPS which powered the controller, which in turn powered the fan.
