  1. Exactly. One down, how many more to go? Just because a drug is illegal, does not mean it is dangerous. Just because a drug is legal, does not mean it is safe.
  2. Soo many factors, also @Ill_Evan will be doing it outdoors so limited hours of light compared to my indoor grow which is currently 18 hours of light and no clouds or rain will affect the lights the plants get (only Eskom, lol). So I reckon I may see some better results due to the fact that I am in coco and indoors until harvest, so I can control my environment. We're getting closer to winter so temps and light duration will start to decrease.
  3. Hmm, I am keen to join but will ultimately depend on the start date for me. I have a sealed pack of fem Tortoni seeds too.
  4. Some people do not want to work, they want an easy life. So they sit at robots and beg for money or they turn to crime as its easier and less effort than finding a job and doing the work. If you are that desperate, you will make a plan and find something - take any job you can find. I am sure he could work in someones garden, pay may not be great and it's a lot of effort but its a job... But no, its too difficult to they decide to take the easier route.
  5. GHE nutes as well? Also coco & perlite or soil?
  6. Nice man, is that also a 20L pot? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  7. Last night I moved a Bananium and another Sugar Cane into flower, sometime soon I will likely move the Cookies & Cream into flower too... Maybe even tonight.
  8. So a quick update, autos are looking good and growing well so far, will start some training shortly when I have a chance. Put the 2 seeds into some coco last night as they had sprouted some tails. Pluto Cut: OG Kush: Gelato: LSD 25:
  9. Soo many variables and factors which come into play, soo much we do not really know and are unable to measure. Climate certainly plays a big role, excess heat can certainly lead to terpene degradation. I must say I disagree with flushing before harvest, it is a myth and does not benefit the plant whatsoever - a recent study I saw and posted somewhere on the forum actually seems to point in the direction that no flush may end up with better tasting weed if anything. Stressing a plant is not always a bad thing, it can trigger various defense mechanisms in the plant and boost yield, trichomes and terpenes. Too much stress or the wrong type of stress on the other hand can be bad and lead to undesired affects. While the article is a nice read, it is not always very precise. A lot of what we do is still guess work and following charts and there is still legacy information going around from who knows how many decades ago when growers needed to figure shit out via trial and error and make use of what they were able to get their hands on. In agriculture, companies are able to tell you what nutes to give and what quantity to give for each week of the plants lifecycle based on your specific soil and so forth to ensure you are able to maximize yields and so forth. This does not happen with cannabis, we do not know for example that perhaps during week 3 and 4 we should actually lower all nutes to increase growth as a random example an then perhaps during the 2nd week of flowering / pre-flowering we should just feed P and K or whatever may be the case. The approach is a broad one, generalized nutrients, follow a chart and it should work out quite well and your plants should yield decently and get a good end result. You can add these things to possibly help the plant along the way and make it more resistant to this and that but it's still quite vague I feel and a lot more testing needs to be done and I am sure is being done and will continue to be done now that it's a lot easier for this to take place and happen.
  10. What a banger, soo much energy in this tune! GET HYPED! Make your sub work. Friday is coming.
  11. Welcome @Brain where is Pinky at? Outdoor season is starting to come to an end with plants going into flower now, starting now will likely be rather disappointing as previously mentioned. Your best bet if you want to get some bud this year still would be to try an auto or two, look at doing a grow indoors (not greenhouse, that is still outdoors - in the elements... The cold fronts in winter will still be felt and good luck trying to heat up the greenhouse). So indoors in a room, cupboard or grow tent with a light and fans and so forth. Will be relatively costly to setup in comparison to an outdoor grow - alternatively this gives you lots of time to do research, play around a bit and get a game plan going. Then you can get your outdoor going towards the end of the year and have a nice harvest in 2022.

I have heard of people using sunlight liquid as a spreading agent, but never tried it myself. I use a proper spreader from a bottle, an organic one - contains terpenes. Yes, you can use both neem and pyrol together. Use both at their lowest dosage to start with though otherwise you can burn your plants. No issue with mixing the two in the same bottle, easier when done this way. The sprays do smell a bit, so maybe spray the plants in a bathroom or shower which you can easily rinse the spray out of afterwards.

BB is a fungus which attacks the pests, works on more than just worms though and if the bugs come in contact with other bugs it can spread to those other bugs. Quite sensitive the spores and have a relatively short lifespan, best to be kept in the fridge and used with dechlorinated water. @Wulf you could use both, pyrol is more a contact killer where neem can kill on contact as well as when consumed by the pest. Neem is perhaps better for prevention and pyrol for if you have a problem. I am thinking pyrol may be better as it does break down a few hours after being sprayed onto the plant. Do not use the full strength, start at the low dose otherwise you may burn the leaves on your plant. Make sure you get a spreading agent as well to avoid the spray from forming drops and rolling off the leaves.
  14. I know that @CreX moved away from the ACDC lights in favour of some Quantum Boards. @CreXHow did you find the two lights compared to one another for interest sake? @Batista No clue on the differences or what diodes are being used, I wouldn't recommend you use them for much more than veg though. Sounds super hot, you may even get more output from the light by placing a fan on it, to help keep it cool.
  15. Welcome! I created a thread a while ago asking a similar question, you can take a look here: https://www.420sa.co.za/topic/4423-some-of-the-better-autos-you-have-grown/

Eish. Spider mites will also leave spots / marks on your leaves (similar to thrips). So monitor and see. I am sure you can hose the plant down to get rid of the poop, just with a gentle spray. With the plant being outdoors, I am always worried about spraying pesticides and the effect it may have on some of the good bugs. Perhaps get some pyrol, bring the plants in at night and give them a good spray with pyrol and leave them inside for the night. In the morning take them out again - for just incase.
  17. Ahh ok, I have all 3 of those in flower at the moment along with a very frosty pheno of Sugarcane. Please let me know how the other strains turn out in comparison!
  18. Nice, what other strains of theirs have you grown for interest sake?
  19. Not a lot of leaf on that plant, must be a pleasure to trim! For a sugarcane, one expects a bit more frost but that still looks really good and may be better to have a pheno which is quick to trim but has a little less frost. Looks tasty!
  20. Mine aren't that noisy... Especially on the lower speed. You could try acoustic ducting perhaps. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  21. Did some defoliation last night in the flower tent, was much needed for light penetration and air flow. A very mess grow indeed, but this is what happens when you start with lanky plants which need to be trained and are quite tall already. The smaller ones in the front are a bit better as those were a bit smaller when I received them. Tent it starting to smell quite nice and I came out with my arms being a bit sticky after trying to get to the back to get rid of excess leaves. I love the smell of cannabis plants in flower.
  22. Nice, they're looking good and healthy!
