Haven't used Atami, I see they have some coco with amendments as well. Sigh. I do not understand why manufacturers do this or the benefit of this. I feel it just messes with what I want and throws out your nute ratios. Anyways, which one did you get? Is it the plain coco and perlite? An EC pen isn't necessary if you're using ghe tri part nutes, however it's a nice to have and a cheap one is perfect. However with a pH pen, a higher quality one is wanted imo. Hm digital have a decent one for around R800 and it works really well. In terms of feeding, I feed according to the ghe schedule and feed full strength and I give nutes with every feed. I also do not water until run off, at least not on purpose, however no harm in doing so. I also never flush. So I feed flower nutes up until I harvest. Once you get use to coco, it just works really well. Simple and I find better growth compared to soil. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I used bio bizz and it works, I prefer the ghe over the bio bizz... Most use bb if they're doing an organic grow. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Exactly and agreed 100% Flushing soil isn't going to make as much of a difference as flushing coco as well. Good luck flushing out all the amendments in soil, with coco it's far easier. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

@BigBud I'd say move over to photoperiod instead as they're more forgiving. You do not need to flush with coco... I never do... Not even before harvest. So if that was your reason to avoid coco, then I say move over to coco for your next grow. When my plants are big they easily take 3L of water into a 20L pot. I must agree, growing isn't difficult when you use the right products and have the right equipment. Lots of members on this forum will be more than happy to help you and guide you through your grows. Decide which route you'd like to go for your next grow (soil, coco or something else), let us know and you'll get assistance for sure! Nothing wrong with soil or coco. I personally prefer coco but had good success when I used soil as well. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I feel it is a common misconception that soil is easier than coco... Those plants look pretty hungry to me. Being autos, not much you can do now unfortunately. Autos need the perfect environment in order for them to thrive, otherwise your yield will be reduced. They do not leave much room for error. There are better soils out there - Freedom Farms (premium classic, green bag) is very popular and Organics Matter is good as well. Both of these soils have had some issues in the past with some batches. Soil will never be 100% consistent unfortunately. If you want to continue giving soil a try, I would recommend one of those two. Currently, continue feeding your plants with nutes and perhaps drop the PH a little as well, to around 6.2 as I believe Just Cannabis is not so much a soil as it is coco with amendments... not sure if there is even anything to help buffer the PH. How dry is your medium? Do not let it dry out too much. Looks as if the plants may have gotten quite dry as well. Also what is the purpose of the leca ontop of the medium?

A quick smell and you'll realise it's not alcohol. I could ship it, but its heavy and going to be a mission trying to find a box to put it into etc.

Were you using Green House Powder Feeds? I have heard quite mixed reviews with those nutes, some love it and swear by it while others just end up with plants being super unhappy and burnt to a crisp. I quite like the GHE Tri part nutes, works well and will work well in your Freedom Farms soil as well. If you prefer to use microbes, once a week should be fine but you could likely get away with using the microbes every few weeks only.

Nobody wants free nutes?

It's not so much how many plants for the light, it's more the sqm area which the light will cover well. You can fit 1 large plant inside a tent of whatever sqm or you could fit multiple smaller plants... However the 240w light will work in your sized tent alright but more than 1 would be preferable for flowering in your 1.2 x 1.2 tent. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

If you are dead set on a specific sized tent, get a smaller quantum board with a single QB288. These are normally advertised as 120w lights and later on you can purchase some more quantum boards. A 240w quantum board is generally 2x QB288's Check out the vendors and see what specials are currently available. Not all quantum boards are the same in terms of heatsink and the accessories which come with them. Something you'd want to look into, the vendors on this forum are a good place to start looking. You've already been given some great advice from fellow members. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

People recommend that you do, however I never do and have yet to experience issues. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

What's your temp and rh like BTW? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I do, every watering my plants get nutes or if I have the blumat going then they get nutes constantly as the coco dried out which is generally small amounts of feed multiple times a day. Plants love it. Never had issues with salt build up either. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

That is a bit high, I always have my pH a bit lower. However from what I recall, nitrogen isn't locked out very easily and I doubt at 6.5 but may not be a bad idea to lower your pH. I aim for a range between 5.9 and 6.2 generally. Perhaps do your next feeds at 5.9 and monitor from there and see if it improves... Although you are going into flower now so changes may not be noticed as easily due to no new leaves. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I don't really grow many autos but I do not dilute nutes and I do not flush either and I also use coco. I believe autos do use slightly less nutes though. Plant looks as if it still has a few weeks to go before its ready for harvest. What nutes you using and what EC are you feeding them? Edit: What PH do you give to your plants? I imagine dry ice could help drop temps a bit but how much does one need a D how long does it last for and how much does it cost etc? No way to regulate temperature with this method, but perhaps a quick fix if one is needed. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

With autopots, I don't feel a buffer is needed. Do keep us posted on how the grow goes :D. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Welcome Dookie! I must say I too prefer being on a local forum. Makes life much easier as suggestions are based on the local environment and what we have available locally. Post some pics of your grow and if you require any help or are unsure of anything, just ask!

Fans just move air around, they do not decrease the temperature. They may help in a situation where there is a heatsink at a temperature above the ambient temperature and will help to bring the temperature of the heatsink down to the ambient temperature... however when you are trying to reduce the temperature lower than the ambient temperature is when things get difficult and often an AC is required. If you do decide to purchase an AC, I would suggest looking on the Facebook market place and other 2nd hand places first as you often find really good deals there. A brand new portable AC is easily R5k to R6k and you can get them 2nd hand for R1500 and at times even less. Just remember to clean the filter on a regular basis and ensure the condenser fins stays clean too.

Welcome! I do not have any experience using Formula 1 however why not consider using coco and perlite instead? I wouldn't recommend you start feeding autoflower seedlings with an EC of 1.2, I would say start lower and slowly increase it as they get bigger. With my coco and perlite, I generally use fertigation so the plants are constantly getting fed with nutes. When I water by hand I also only feed nutes. I never flush my plants and have yet to experience any negative side effects. I generally aim for a PH range of 5.9 to 6.2. In terms of nutes I make use of the GHE tri-part nutes. I am not sure what airdomes are though?

For edibles, making dab then using that is a bit of a mission I feel. Especially if one doesn't have the equipment already. So decarb in the oven the. Into oil for edibles is perfect, simple and easy. Much cheaper too. Some may not feel comfortable working with butane either due to the risk associated with it. Those coolers are a waste, its just a fan which will also increase humidity. It won't lower the temps. If your plants are small, once they're bigger your rh will increase and then thr air cooler will be pointless as it won't cool and your rh likely won't be an issue or it'll be too high. I personally wouldn't spend the money on that air cooler, I bought one years ago and regretted it and eventually replaced it with a cheapy pedestal fan which actually moved a decent amount of air. In a 1 x 1 tent, you don't really want the AC inside as it will take up a large portion of the tent and it complicates the extraction aspect of the tent. Cooling the room will be simpler, however may be hard to justify with such a small tent inside but without am AC you're unlikely to make much, if any, difference to the high temps. As Prom said, temps above 30 degrade your terpenes and this will lead to weed which smells and tastes like nothing. High temps during flower are really not ideal. The only other alternative is to time your grows so that you flower when it's cooler and not in the middle of summer. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So this isn't the exact same strain as what you are thinking about.. I think you are thinking of Charlottes Web, this is Charlottes Angel. However I suspect they are quite similar and both very high in CBD. If I am not mistaken, @Prom managed to get some Charlottes Angel seeds. Not sure if he has grown them out yet and is able to give feedback on whether Charlottes Angel is any different to other high CBD strains? Although it is likely still worth a try and could possibly assist. PM's have been sent to everyone, please respond and then I will have everything shipped out together. -
Move to coco and such issues disappear! You're in complete control over the nutes going into your medium for your plants
