@SkunkPharm Which Ethos strain is that and which have you grown out?
-
I have Fastbuds Gelato and LSD25 so will grow those out. Will try some Ethos and might try some Mephisto and NightOwl if I can find someone who have in stock locally when I am ready to pop more autos. I gave one Fastbuds Gelato seed to a friend, the end result was ok but not quite what I was use to... This was visual though, I did not get a chance to sample it. So will see what I end up with.

Welcome! Looks good, it seems you have already started harvesting and chopping away at that plant too.

They are great, very quiet and the 10 speed levels work very well. I must be honest, I don't use the full functionality of it but it's nice to have if need be and is a great fan. I just wish the pricing was lower, like when I bought mine. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Basic setup for an indoor perpetual grow

Well you mentioned you may be able to get lights for cheaper as some grow is shutting down? These Quantum Board LEDs vs CFLs, you cannot even compare. These newer LEDs blow CFL way out of the water -
Basic setup for an indoor perpetual grow

If there is no need for a carbon filter, then allocate those funds for pots and medium and possibly even seeds. If you can get cheaper lights, then you have even more budget for various odds and end, or to pocket and save for just incase. -

70 x 70 may not reach the required amount of bud, although if its in combination with some plants outdoor then it could work. The server fan wont work with a carbon filter, which will be required he if needs to be discreet. Although growing outside will draw attention... So really depends on how discreet he needs to be. If there is no need for a carbon filter then a PC / server fan will work for sure, I basically did that when I first started growing as I was not using a tent and it worked really well actually. I have also used a PC fan in a drying tent with good success to avoid the RH spiking too high. -
So I was going to drop @Prom a PM but then decided to rather start this thread so everyone else can benefit and give feedback too. What are some of the better autoflowers which you guys have grown out? Also what exactly impressed you about the plant. Breeder and strain is the info I am looking for. @Prom it's no secret that you love your autos, so keen to get your opinion and feedback here as well I am thinking about my next grow (it feels a bit overdue, keen to get growing again) and I might end up running some autoflowers alongside the photoperiods.

Basic setup for an indoor perpetual grow

R10k for a start up indoor grow is a bit on the tight side but possible, provided the grow is on the smaller side. 40g a month, call it 6 months to harvest for shits and giggles, works out to 240g. This can easily be achieved in a single 1.2m x 0.6m tent Thumbsuck pricing on some items: Tent: R2 400 LED Light: R4 250 Carbon Filter: R1 500 Extraction Fan: R1 450 Oscillating or Box fan: R300 Total: R9 900 There are still some items he will need to purchase, soil or coco, pots, nutes, ph pen, timer, ducting, seeds comes to mind. However the largest equipment purchases will fit in with his R10k budget. I reckon he should be able to pull at least 300g dry from that tent with a good grow. Also doubt it will be 6 months from seed to smoke, most likely quicker. Autos for outdoors work well, especially now that it is summer and we have longer hours of sunshine. -
From spinach to debates as to what cannabis is classified as, quite the change. I do not know all that much about different types of plants and categories etc. but anyways. Paper was made by the Egyptians from papyrus, which is a reed I think and therefore the trunk / stem is similar to that of a banana tree which is not very wood like if I am not mistaken. One can make paper from leaves too though. Fruit and veggies are typically consumed by one eating them, while you can eat cannabis it's kinda pointless unless you apply some heat to it and is generally not the way in which cannabis is consumed. In veg the stems are rather soft and supple, in flower this changes and the stems thicken and harden. Cannabis is cannabis, not sure one can accurately judge it amongst other fruit and veg and should likely have it's own category.

I think @Wulf is referring to an exhaust fan, so an inline fan as opposed to a fan used for circulating air within the tent. Prima Klima I believe make decent fans, but not sure anyone has stock of them at the moment. AC Infinity are great, but not cheap at all.

Similar thing happened with a friend of mine, he started using Kratom and was under the impression it wouldn't be addictive or cause any issues. Not the case, he ended up going through quite a bit as well and when he tried to stop it was really difficult and he too had withdrawals. I tried it once or twice but found the effects to be very subtle and I struggled to get it down. The taste is bad and the powder clumps etc.

A bit of N during flower is not bad actually. I used Hortimix before, it works well. I cannot remember what ratios I used to use it in though. @CreX perhaps you can assist?

They're always telling us to eat our veggies...

I have never heard of someone being allowed to take some cannabis with them on a plane. Imagine everyone on the plane taking just a single gram of bud with them, that entire plane is going to be stanky! I personally would try take cannabis with on a plane, perhaps someone else with more knowledge can comment. I know the couriers are stopping and confiscating parcels which contain cannabis, does not make sense that they'd do that but you'd be allowed to take with you on a plane. If it was edibles, you could possibly get away with it, but it would be at your own risk, with bud I do not think so.

Haha, that escalated quickly. Went from October to Feb - a good 5 months delay, almost half a year of delays in a post. Good luck though, not as easy as it may seem

Yikes, quite a sight to see. You've always had a beautiful canopy and a great looking grow. Seems those who are happy with the soil are not using any nutes, so perhaps the soil has more amendments in it compared to the Freedom Farms soil and the addition of nutes is just too much for the plants? @JeffVader please do keep us posted.

I had one of these, awesome tent. Very customizable as you said. Even comes with a scrog net. Quality was great too, I had no complaints. My hydro shoot tent split at the seams though when setting it up again. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Alright, fair enough. If you want, why not consider a plant specifically bred for high CBD levels? If you have any specific questions regarding Ruderalis or autoflowers, let us know and I am sure one of the members can assist.

That is good to know, thanks.
