  1. If you find the various sized mesh screens at a reasonable price, please let me know! I'd love to make my own too, they're really expensive to purchase.
  2. Hmm, some hectic mold there. I guess it breaks it all down? Would not have thought of using cardboard... How long does the whole process take?
  3. Wow, withdrawals from stopping with the weed. I clearly don't smoke enough to get such withdrawals... at least none which I have noticed. @Ill_Evan How is the Arizer ArGo? Any idea how it compares to the Arizer 2 Solo or perhaps a PAX 3?
  4. Looking very nice and frosty! Is the plant with WPM chilling in the same area as the others?
  5. Looking very good! How much longer to go? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Oh, not the same. My bad, will look into it. Hopefully the yield and bud will be great too! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  7. That is a polyploid mutation, I had it on my Bruce Banner which I recently harvested, although only on one branch. Apparently it is sought after, my BB was not self-pollinated though. I did notice that the bud from the Polyploid did not grow in the same manner and swell in the same way - other than that I did not really notice any cons. THe pros is that the bud is ab it bigger, but due to the shape as opposed to it just growing larger. Keep it, perhaps even clone it.
  8. Peace homes Good luck with the tolerance break, we gotta hook you up with some high THC bud when you're done! This makes me wonder, how often do you guys take a break from smoking and for how long on average?
  9. I have heard roots do not like light, so having a clear pot may not be ideal. Another issue I see is that when you need to repot the plant, it may be difficult to remove the soil from there due to the shape.
  10. Woah, that is a long video. Will have to watch it when I have some time. I am not sure what Regenerative Farming Practices are exactly... Although I a going to guess it is a more natural way of doing things? Letting the microbes and soil and plants live in harmony together and provide for one another?
  11. Ahh ok, similar to my CBD Critical Mass. She is a lovely plant, the scent coming off the bud is very unique. Lovely smoke too.
  12. Maybe speak to them and ask what comes in the breeder packs? I know Dutch Passion have nice tin breeder packs and inside is a fully sealed bag with clear plastic - you will notice if it has been opened / tampered with. So maybe get something from them then.
  13. Royal medic is a higher cbd strain isn't it? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  14. Some pics of the GSC before harvest. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  15. So some dry weights in some plants harvested. The 90g dry from the Bruce Banner was really quite a surprise considering the size of the plant. The cbd critical mass needs to be weighed again as when removing the bud the scale reflected a -6g so it wasn't zero'd properly I suspect. On Friday I also decided to cut down the GSC, so she is busy drying. I suspect she will be of a low yield as she wasn't a very big plant. I'm now just waiting for the Chocolope to finish up and then I'll have harvested all 6 plants from my tent and can get true, final figures in terms of yield. 16. Everyone has a slightly different way to germinate seeds. Many ways will work. I like to soak in water for 12 hours, I often use a bit of trich too when doing the soak. I use distilled water but many use tap water without issues. Then I use the woolies bleach free paper towel and put the seed on there and dump the water onto the paper towel to wet it. I fold it and into a zip lock bag it goes. Between two saucers and into my veg area as its warm there. Often in 2 or 3 days there is a sprouted seed which I then carefully remove with tweezers and place into the desired medium. Out of the many seeds I've popped, only had 2 not take and I feel it was due to bad seeds as the method remained the same for all seeds. I often pop multiple seeds at the same time, so it's always the same conditions too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  17. Considering the food we eat, I don't think it makes much of a difference. Although I guess we smoke bud and don't eat it, but doubt it. Tobacco industry don't flush, do they? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  18. Hahaha, geez ok. This thread has taken more of a turn than I expected. Bringing lights into the equation. The way I see it is that I would classify lighting more as "natural" or "unnatural" as opposed to organic or inorganic. @Ill_Evan I agree that organic would refer to more the nutrients and such, thinking about it now most mediums are natural (soil, coco, water) although maybe not organic per say. Such as the coco could have been grown using synthetic nutes. @Dank which brands? Curious to find out about this. In my mind I feel organic vs "non-organic" (not inorganic), is more about the nutrients which one gives their plants. However as mentioned originally, often there will be synthetic nutes used at some point in the grow, even if its just for supplementation. People stating organic bud is tastier, well, at what point does it get affected? When changing nutes? What if you go half / half with BioBizz and Greenhouse Powder Feeds for example? Correct me if I am wrong, but reading on this forum and watching YouTube grow videos of people overseas. There seems to be a "hype" of sorts about "organic" cannabis. People using soil specifically and then top feeding with amendments which are slow release or using BioBizz nutes or trying to male super soils so you do not need to add anything else. Then you ask yourself, what is the actual benefit? Why is it done like this and the answer I have always found is that organic bud "tastes better". Although at the same time I was thinking about these Grow off competitions - I love them, think its a great idea and I have enjoyed participating in it. The one category is for the best organic grow. How far could one push it before your grow is no longer classified as organic? I feel for a grow to be fully organic, it's not going to be easy to achieve. Not indoors at least. Perhaps more so outdoors.
  19. One can have microbes and use synthetic nutes. I feel that when people think of organic, they think of soil - however you can use soil and have nothing else organic in your grow. On the flip side, you can do hydro or grow with coco / perlite and use organic nutes and feed with teas and have tons of microbes - it may not be the most ideal environment due to the lack of organic matter to break down however it is possible and there are people who do this. @Ssomeguy you feel an indoor grow is not organic, I assume considering the environment?
  20. Welcome. If that is a picture of you, I'd remove it. If its not, then it's very random? What do you need help with?
  21. @MrB what did you end up doing? I like to use the pistil colour and calyx size as a guideline and then when I feel it is starting to near harvest time I start to check the trichomes and I harvest according to trichome colours - check trichomes on various colas at different points on he bud (not just the top, or just the bottom).
  22. I think it really depends on the auto plant itself though, as long as it does not start flowering too soon and has vigorous growth and is not stressed by the toppings then it should be fine. I had 2x Daquari Lime seeds planted at the same time and the one started flowering at week 3 and the other at week 5 or so. Those extra 2 weeks of veg make a HUGE difference. @AcidAlice what plant is that?
  23. Very nice! What size pot is that?
