  1. I use a tent to dry in, in JHB has been super dry. I have had my humidity creep up to 80% after the first day where outside was in the 30's You could even go a step further and get a controller which monitors RH and then connect it to a humidifier and/or extraction fan to keep the RH on point. I will be doing that next time.
  2. Welcome and I am sure you will enjoy your stay! As @420SA mentioned, start a grow diary and if you get stuck ask for help. Killing your plants won't be nearly as easy to achieve then. Good equipment is not cheap, but it's money well spent generally. Good genetics also aren't cheap, but it certainly makes a difference - TH Seeds are well priced and pretty good and I see one of the Vendors on the forum @Cannabist stock them and currently have a special running too. Worlds Strongest Strains are awesome, although regular seeds and not terrible in terms of pricing. Since you get regular seeds, you can always easily breed for more seeds if you'd like. Biltong n Budz stock WSS.
  3. Nah, should be good not filled to the top. I wouldn't worry about it. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Haha, now that you mention it, it actually does. Very dense bud! The dry weight yielded from the plant blew me away for its size! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. So I snapped a quick pic this morning of the surrogate (to be) Charlottes Angel plant. Around week 3 of flower I think, cannot remember exactly. Need a bit more defoliation when I get a chance.
  6. Hmm, interesting. A friend has a Pax 3 and comapred to my cheap chinese herb vape it seems far more powerful and the larger chamber in the PAX 3 is awesome! I like the idea of having a portable vape, don't feel the need for a desktop vape at the moment and the decent vapes are not cheap. I like that the ArGo uses 18650 batteries, easy to source and you can carry many and swap out the battery as needed - don't need to plug it in to recharge when flat. Although we're getting off topic now. Perhaps this needs a new thread, or just a more private conversation.
  7. If you find the various sized mesh screens at a reasonable price, please let me know! I'd love to make my own too, they're really expensive to purchase.
  8. Hmm, some hectic mold there. I guess it breaks it all down? Would not have thought of using cardboard... How long does the whole process take?
  9. Wow, withdrawals from stopping with the weed. I clearly don't smoke enough to get such withdrawals... at least none which I have noticed. @Ill_Evan How is the Arizer ArGo? Any idea how it compares to the Arizer 2 Solo or perhaps a PAX 3?
  10. Looking very nice and frosty! Is the plant with WPM chilling in the same area as the others?
  11. Looking very good! How much longer to go? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  12. Oh, not the same. My bad, will look into it. Hopefully the yield and bud will be great too! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  13. That is a polyploid mutation, I had it on my Bruce Banner which I recently harvested, although only on one branch. Apparently it is sought after, my BB was not self-pollinated though. I did notice that the bud from the Polyploid did not grow in the same manner and swell in the same way - other than that I did not really notice any cons. THe pros is that the bud is ab it bigger, but due to the shape as opposed to it just growing larger. Keep it, perhaps even clone it.
  14. Peace homes Good luck with the tolerance break, we gotta hook you up with some high THC bud when you're done! This makes me wonder, how often do you guys take a break from smoking and for how long on average?
  15. I have heard roots do not like light, so having a clear pot may not be ideal. Another issue I see is that when you need to repot the plant, it may be difficult to remove the soil from there due to the shape.
  16. Woah, that is a long video. Will have to watch it when I have some time. I am not sure what Regenerative Farming Practices are exactly... Although I a going to guess it is a more natural way of doing things? Letting the microbes and soil and plants live in harmony together and provide for one another?
  17. Ahh ok, similar to my CBD Critical Mass. She is a lovely plant, the scent coming off the bud is very unique. Lovely smoke too.
  18. Maybe speak to them and ask what comes in the breeder packs? I know Dutch Passion have nice tin breeder packs and inside is a fully sealed bag with clear plastic - you will notice if it has been opened / tampered with. So maybe get something from them then.
  19. Royal medic is a higher cbd strain isn't it? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Some pics of the GSC before harvest. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  21. So some dry weights in some plants harvested. The 90g dry from the Bruce Banner was really quite a surprise considering the size of the plant. The cbd critical mass needs to be weighed again as when removing the bud the scale reflected a -6g so it wasn't zero'd properly I suspect. On Friday I also decided to cut down the GSC, so she is busy drying. I suspect she will be of a low yield as she wasn't a very big plant. I'm now just waiting for the Chocolope to finish up and then I'll have harvested all 6 plants from my tent and can get true, final figures in terms of yield. 22. Everyone has a slightly different way to germinate seeds. Many ways will work. I like to soak in water for 12 hours, I often use a bit of trich too when doing the soak. I use distilled water but many use tap water without issues. Then I use the woolies bleach free paper towel and put the seed on there and dump the water onto the paper towel to wet it. I fold it and into a zip lock bag it goes. Between two saucers and into my veg area as its warm there. Often in 2 or 3 days there is a sprouted seed which I then carefully remove with tweezers and place into the desired medium. Out of the many seeds I've popped, only had 2 not take and I feel it was due to bad seeds as the method remained the same for all seeds. I often pop multiple seeds at the same time, so it's always the same conditions too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
