Yeah and potentially screwing over the industry. That's what they do, open branches and when they get closed down they open up elsewhere. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

The experience at the others is not the same from what I have heard, I have walked past one or two but never bothered going inside. @Master_G got some bud from them, their indoor appears to be outdoor or greenhouse at best, unless it was grown with a CFL among lots of male plants. Weak as fuck and heavily seeded. The other thing is they way they are conducting their business, it makes the cannabis industry look bad as it is still not legal and they are trying to use a grey area loop hole of sorts. It has the potential to affect the future of cannabis and possibly dispensaries too.

Ethos often have a few pheno's in their seeds I believe, so you do need to hunt the one(s) you like and want. As for cloning those plants, not sure it will root. You can try though but don't get your hopes up.
-
Fuck man, did you grow them from seeds or clone? Where did you get the seeds / clones from? Simple answer is genetics. If a couple have 3 kids and they are all male for example - they aren't all going to look the same. They will have features from the parents and one / some may look more like the mother or more like the father. If you want the exact same plant, you need to clone it. You can try find a pheno and keep breeding and breeding until what you get in each seed is just about the same but that takes a lot of time. With the majority of seeds you will have a few different phenos and therefore some variance as well. Although perhaps you just got screwed over, depending on where you got them from. That is a possibility too.

So I finally got around to harvesting the Daquari Lime and the seeds she has provided too! I got a few more seeds than pictured below, I started by trying to pick out as many seeds as I could and then I did the bus wash and trim, got a few more during trimming and may even find a few more when I finally give it a try - she was not heavily seeded which is perfectly fine by me considering I do not need stupid amounts of seeds from her. I only used around 4 or 5 pollen sacs and spread the pollen with my sticky fingers. Seeds are nice and large!

So I cut down the Tropicana this weekend as it was ready, the rest not quite. The GDP appears to be the next plant which will get chopped. Yield on the Tropicana seems a little disappointing, although it is frosty AF and the quality of the trim is insane! I am keeping the Tropicana trim separate, I plan on making some oil from it - so no easy way to measure the potency or yield form the trim unfortunately. Below are some pics just before harvesting, I also did a bud wash just to ensure the buds are nice and clean!

That looks really good! Seems its the sugar leaves with the very dark colour - looks beautiful! Let us know how she smokes once dry and cured.

So one thing to remember is that not all diodes are the same. So the biggest question is what diodes are you going to use? Clones don't need much interms of lightning. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Since the buds have just started you can try spraying them, I know some members like using hydrogen peroxide (a 3% solution). Others have had luck using milk and water, I know@CreX tried this a while ago and it worked well for him. There is also AQ SF, which is meant to eat the PM - I'd say start spraying with something for now to try get rid of it ASAP before buds develop even more as spraying with larger buds could lead to mould issues as the buds may not dry properly or quick enough once they're dense. Welcome. What lights are you running exactly? 3000W output on LED's is some serious lighting and would cover a huuuge area - around 7 sqm, is it those blurple lights which are overrated perhaps? Please start a grow diary and show off your grow!! :D Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Nice, I think 2 would be the limit in terms of a nice spread and good light penetration. The LM301B are awesome diodes! Please create a grow diary and keep us posted with your grow. Are you going to be using a tent to grow in? Also what light cycle do you plan on using? If it is in an office where people are and with electronic equipment light leaks would be a concern of mine - however since it is an autoflower you can minimize the dark period duration... You could even run the light for 24 hours a day (never have a dark period).

That is likely the draw from the wall then, I still suspect the actual power which the LED's are receiving is around 60W, 80W at a push considering the max rated draw per LM301B diode is 0.57W So if they are putting out 60W of power and it's drawing 106W, the efficiency is pretty shit. 44W of power being wasted. Almost double the power - not something you need to be concerned about since you are not paying for electricity but just something to keep in mind for others who are interested in possibly purchasing these lights. Running two lights will lead to 88W of power being "wasted" and running it on 18 hours a day (for veg) leads to 65 KWH per month of wasted electricity and a total usage of 153KWH per month. So let's put this into an easy to understand rand value, the below calculations are based on a rate R1.82 per KWH. 2x Circular lights per month will cost you R278.4, this is for a total output of around 120W of LED lighting. Of that amount R118.30 is wasted due to the lack of efficiency. Convenient solutions for sure, not light on electricity. Rather close to an HID setup actually. If they are legit LM301B diodes, they are great diodes! The same LED's I run actually. How many plants do you plan on growing under that light?

So approx 60W - 80W (I think closer to 60W though) per circular board in terms of LED output. If they are all LM301B diodes, then around 80W would be the absolute max, although I have not seen any manufacturer advertise their QB's at the max rated power and it is generally not advised to run LED's at max either, you lose efficiency and it decreases their life span. So around 120W of LED lighting from that light you have there. I would be curious as to the actual draw from the wall, anyway are you able to check the amps it pulls from the wall after being on for 5 - 10 min and then the voltage coming out of the wall?

Alright cool, nice heatsink you made there, I assume the fan is blowing air in and across the "fins"? R2400 plus the heatsink is not a terrible price, although curious as to how many LED's are on each board - how it may compare against a more traditional Quantum Board.

@Bakstein420 So that is for 2x of the circle boards and 1 heatsink? I assume both of the circle boards fit on 1 heatsink? How many LED's per board and have you received it yet?

They will be feminized, although with a predisposition to hermie. I would not bother growing them out. I assume you took cuttings, or hopefully have more seeds? Rather use those than the possible hermie seeds - the last thing you want is for the plant to hermie during flowering after spending all that time and effort getting the plant to where it is.

Day 120 / Day 68 of Flower (just over midway through week 9 of flower) These are not all 8 / 9 week strains. In fact none are considering none are ready. It seems as if the GSC and Chocolope will be taking longer to ripen, the CBD Critical Mass I am unsure of but has a hectic fade going already. I'd rather wait a bit longer as I want to make sure I get a decent amount of CBD from it. I will check the trichomes this Friday evening if I get a chance, otherwise on Saturday and hopefully I can at least chop one or two of the plants. I had a whoopsie last weekend where I bent the one branch on the Tropicana, so I decided to cut it and dry it. It's busy curing at the moment. A few pics of the ladies, not the best but at least you get an idea on how things are progressing.

They may turn out a little stretched, although when late in flower you want low RH, around 40% and when vegging RH of around 65% is good. But 40% is still better than what you've been experiencing.

If not, add a gas stove and boil water. lol

In terms of soil, I have had success with seedlings straight into the following soil: Organics Matter Living Soil Freedom Farms Organic Soil Freedom Farms Germination MIx The Culterra Germination mix also works, but, I am not a big fan and you would want to repot it very shortly after it has sprouted. The Organics Matter living soil can be a little compact for some seedlings, easy way to avoid this is to put a jiffy pellet in the soil and the seed into the jiffy pellet - although I have not experienced issues with the soil being too compact, I know others have. I generally try and avoid the soils from the nurseries as they just look disappointing. I'd rather spend a bit more and know the soil is great! Your plant spends its whole life in soil and gets a lot of nutrients from the soil and the soil needs to be well balanced to ensure optimal air and water retention and so forth.
-
Glad the seedling is forming new roots, similar to a cutting in a way considering the main taproot has died. It is nice to have a mix of seedlings and larger plants when vegging as the larger plants help keep the RH up.
-
Kelpak is more for seedlings, its not a nutrient though but can help with root growth. Nitrisol for veg, you'll need something for flowering preferably. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

No, her... Only females make bud and only females will make seeds. Males only give you pollen, which then needs to get onto the females in order for seeds to be created. So I had 2x female autos, I then sprayed the one with STS which is a chemical which suppresses (stops) the production of ethylene which leads to the female plant growing pollen sacs (similar to a hermie, but not due to stress - it's due to the chemicals). Then take that pollen from the plant and use it on the other, untouched female plant, which is what you see above. I then killed the plant I had sprayed with STS, it becomes useless as I wouldn't use the bud as Sts is very toxic and I already have pollen and don't want the rest of my females to become pollinated. Once a plant has been pollinated, its focus becomes the seeds and not so much the bud and trichomes. So yield decreases and potency too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
