  1. What cactii are those? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  2. I was wondering about food colouring and cuttings, does it pull it up like rose petals or not?
  3. The irony right, stop pampering the plant and it's hardier and better of. Glad all is still going well. I started with some strikers cloning gel but then moved over to the dynaroot #2 and it seems to work well, even in the bubble cloner. A lot still sticks to the stems.
  4. Do you normally flower in 5L pots or are you going to get larger fabric pots? Like 20L? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  5. I quite like their fabric pots, although the Freedom Farm ones aren't bad. I've only used small plastic pots, then use the larger fabric ones for flowering. So cannot really comment on how much of a difference it makes but majority seem to prefer the fabric pots. I don't think you need to rush to get fabric pots.

No clue, although you'd want to learn more about genetics and such for sure. I am sure if you Google you could find some really good info.
  7. You still got a loooong time to go, especially if they start to reveg. On average, most plants will flower for around 9 / 10 weeks before they'll be ready for harvesting.
  8. So around 200W roughly. What size pots are those?
  9. Something a little different... I present to you, the Thrip and the Thrip poop. Found it wandering on my Mint OG, I almost lost it while trying to snap the picture as it jumped. The plants have since been drenched in pyrol and neem.
  10. Looks like a big floodlight. How long until harvest, roughly?
  11. You put it into a bubble cloner? Also are those seeds in a cup? Trying to get the humidity up for the seeds or something?
  12. Well, it is rather close - even for LED's. Many run their lights higher for better spread and still get superb results! What light do you have exactly?
  13. Oh, are those are flowering? Well to give you an idea, I have my LED lights set to 380W in my flower tent (they have a full potential of over 480W), I have them less than 30cm from the top of the canopy and have seen no ill effects whatsoever. I have 4x QB288's in my flower tent. I feel 380W of power is overkill for the space they are in and the distance they are from the plants. Next time I will most likely run them at lower power when flowering.
  14. We do not taste like what we eat, plants do not taste like what they eat either... Luckily. A lot of manure is used in compost, I don't want my fruit and veggies tasting like that... certainly not my weed either! haha
  15. Are you able to leave / grow the plant outside? To be honest, at that rate I am not even sure it is worth trying to grow. I'd suggest looking into growing outdoors fully if you are unable to get a tent and proper lighting etc. Outdoors can work out cheap as you will use the sun and don't need tents. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. If you were to flower that, the yield would not even be worth while. Doubt you'd even get 5g dry.
  16. I think it partially comes down to personal preference and what you want to achieve too. I would raise the plants / lower the LED light. I like to keep my light very close to my plants - this can also help keep the plants a bit shorter and reduce the internode spacing. If the light is further away, the plants may stretch a bit and the internode spacing may increase. How you have it shouldn't negatively affect the plants really, especially during veg. It is also hard to tell the distance looking at the pic and they're already raised a bit. P.S. I doubt that light actually draws 600W, but it's not a problem
  17. Yeah man! Whatever you have which you feel is top notch.
  18. Hey all, So thought it could be cool to see pictures of some of your best plants yet and post what they are, which breeders and strain. I have some Ethos seeds which I need to start growing, quite eager to see how they do. Some look superb, although will add some pictures once I have grown them out... If they are as good as they're meant to be. So far the best plant I have grown has been a bagseed mystery. She is still busy flowering, quite frustrating that I am not sure of the genetics behind her and will only truly know how great (or not) she is until she has been harvested and dried. No fancy colours, although I like the bud structure and she is full of trichomes and smells super fruity!
  19. Is it even worth while doing it yourself? Don't you need special equipment to pack it properly? Please keep us posted on what happens.
  20. Welcome and as Crex said, start a grow diary!
  21. Post a picture of the entire plant, 2 and a half months is generally a pretty massive bush and generally wouldn't still be on a window sill. Hard to say for sure, although looks like a female. If you're using just the sun, then it's going to be a while until she starts to flower unless you get involved and ensure she only gets 12 hours of light or less.
  22. Yeah, that is a male. It has nothing to do with pollen, a seed will either be male or female and that is before you even germinate it. Either will work, trays or pots. I prefer to go straight into pots and not transplant as often - unless I am struggling with space.
  23. I have some cheap Grow Guru bags, a Freedom Farm Bag and some PLant Matters bags. I like the ones from Plant Matters the most.
  24. What about AQ sf? http://www.agro-organics.co.za/aq-sf/ Never heard of Tenazole.
  25. I am using soil. Still have the Charlottes Angel going, they actually seem to be photoperiods and not auto's. So seems to be a mix up or perhaps just a bit unstable. So waiting for space in my flowering tent to put them in there to get them to flower. Such an incident may screw you over completely though.
