I get what you are saying, however it is in their T&C's that in outlaying areas you need to pay and free shipping is not applicable. @Gnome according to the T&C's though orders to outlaying areas do not qualify for free shipping and according to TCG your area is outlaying. So if anything it may be more appropriate to reach out to TCG to see why they classify Secunda as an outlaying area. As for the price difference, I am not sure. Although @420SA stated TCG have multiple pricing structures, so I assume different structures for the account you're using and the one THC are using. I know we have Aramex and DHL accounts at work and with Aramex we cannot ship close to the price of the Aramex store-to-door overnight service.

All the autos I've grown so far have been from Dutch Passion and I have a few more to grow it. I'll be popping 2 more strains most likely over the next 2 / 3 weeks. I'm growing them as fillers in my veg area while waiting for my flowering plants to finish up. I'm leaning towards the Euforia and Brooklyn Sunrise. I'll most likely grow out 2 of each strain and spray one with STS for more seeds of each strain. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I assume you've grown it? Please tell us more. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

That's unfortunate, although it really comes down to the couriers. Not really The High Co's fault. I do understand your frustration, although with free stuff there if itrn a catch and unfortunately Secunds is not JHB or PTA where its busy and happening. It will get significantly fewer deliveries and therefore affects their schedule and pricing too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So from my limited experience, auto's seem to be rather "unstable" in the sense that you can get a few seeds from the same pack and they will start to flower at different times and this will affect the final size of the plant and therefore the yield. You do not have as much room for error either, stunting the plant will lower your yield. So do not expect a lot of consistency among the autoflowers, this will obviously differ from strain to strain and breeder to breeder. Nothing needs to be done differently with autoflowers in DWC. The main difference with autoflowers is that they will flower based on time, so you have no say with regards to when they will flower. Yields will vary from strain to strain and also depending on how well you do at looking after them - as mentioned stunting them will lower yield. Typically the strains which take longer to flower, will grow a bit larger and therefore be able to yield higher. As to which will veg for longer and yield more would come down to strain, not really breeder specific. I have grown Dutch Passion auto's without much issue, Mephisto apparently has some decent autoflowers and many others. Get a few and start growing them.

Only 5 licenses, not many at all. The BEE requirements seem a bit ridiculous currently, although let's wait and see what actually comes about this.

@CreX 10%? My average low RH in the house is around 29%
-
I am not able to keep my RH that low unfortunately, I try and open my tent to drop the RH at least twice a day. So try make a plan if you have to.

I meant with the pictures I posted last night, haha. That was the 3rd time I had defoliated the plants.
-
It's hard to judge your plant with the pictures as in some photos the leaves look rather light and in others they look a bit darker. Are you giving her enough nutes? You PH your water and so forth? Also now that you are going into flower you want to start increasing the Potassium and Phosphorus and back off a bit on the nitrogen.
-
So this is the 3rd defoliation I have done since flipping to flower. I lolipopped / schwarzed the plant twice - one when flipping to flower and again a week or so later and now removed the fan leaves. I should have removed the leaves sooner though, left all sugar leaves! Although even some fan leaves had some heavy trichomes going on at the base and stem.
-
Now I really wish you had some OM soil to compare.

Day 90 / Day 38 of Flower I did some defoliation, I removed some of the larger fan leaves (most of them), to allow more light to get to the buds. I feel I may have stunted the bud growth by not doing this sooner so I have learnt my lesson for next time. Looking much better with fewer leaves and I feel the airflow in my tent is now greatly improved, as well as light penetration. The Beautful looking bagseed: GSC, she had tons of leaves! Probably the most out of all the plants: GDP, looking mighty fine those buds! Nice and shiny, may not be the grape pheno but has me very excited to try her: CBD Critical Mass: Bruce Banner #3, the one which seems the most affected as it really has not filled out very well. Hoping it improves but I feel it is a bit late: A looot of leaves were removed, that is a 20L bucket. Just containing leaves from the 6 flowering plants: Pictures of what the tent looks like now after the plants have had their manicture:

We need to arrange another plant, I am sure you can make space for Ghost Train Haze... right? It will most likely need some support though!

This is the Big Smooth?

Not quite the same type of charcoal. Get the type which is meant to be for human consumption. Go to a chemist / health shop. Activated charcoal. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

One of those online Chinese stores. Mine is apparently 1600x but I heavily doubt that... Although for my needs it's great! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I watched the video as well, although I think I will be doing a defoliation when I get a chance - removing just the fan leaves and leaving the sugar leaves. If the fan leaf is really not in the way of bud sites, I will leave it. However if it may prevent airflow or stop light from penetrating better it will be removed - so probably just keep fan leave son the outside of the branches and plant. On another note, I got a cheap USB microscope a while ago to help me check my trichomes and did a quick check on the bagseed plant and its starting to turn cloudy. Really liking the microscope so far.

Welcome. Why not source seeds locally? There are many local seed vendors who stock international seeds. @Sacred Seeds is one of them and they are a vendor on the site, I have personally ordered from him before and had no issues. There are many more though, Sacred Seeds is just one of the many local seed vendors.

So I did a defoliation when I flipped to flower than akother around 2 weeks in and haven't touched it since. I may try remove some fan leaves to give a bit more light penetration though. Been toying with the idea, should I or shouldn't I. It's 1.2 x 0.6 and I think 1.7 tall. Not a big tent at all. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

So I've been wondering whether to do some defoliation or not, I don't wanna stunt the bud production but at the same time it's certainly affecting the light penetration. I have tried to physically move branches around and tuck leaves to assist with light penetration. As for the light spread, I run my lights very low to the canopy and I have them staggered. A lot lower than other grows I've seen, I have the luxury of having quite a few quantum boards in that small space. How much it affects the bud not having direct light under there I am not sure - buds are still growing and resin production still seems to be happening pretty well. Realistically, I don't think majority of people have direct light under every plant. I don't feel it's a problem, it's a small area and already I feel as if 380W in the area is overkill. I can increase it to 480w, actually 504w max, but feel its really not needed. Next flower grow I may turn the power down and see how it compares. Edit: I feel a scrog net would have increased light penetration and increased the efficiency in terms of using my tent space for flowering. Next time I flower I'd like to scrog if I can. You purchase RO water for your plants? Wow ok. I can't justify that, I don't think the difference is big enough - I would purchase a RO system but not water. Isn't it normally around R1 per L? On my flowering plants I currently use at least 18L per feed and feed at least twice a week. So R36 a week, R144 a month. R360 for flowering if you are going for 10 weeks. Surely it must work out cheaper to just purchase an RO system in the long run?

Yeah, 400W for veg and 400W for flower - sounds decent. Just remember heat with HPS is going to be higher, so ensure you are able to keep things cool during summer. Otherwise consider LED if you need to purchase more lights, will help with heat a bit as well as electricity usage - also no need to swap bulbs.
