  1. We do not taste like what we eat, plants do not taste like what they eat either... Luckily. A lot of manure is used in compost, I don't want my fruit and veggies tasting like that... certainly not my weed either! haha
  2. Are you able to leave / grow the plant outside? To be honest, at that rate I am not even sure it is worth trying to grow. I'd suggest looking into growing outdoors fully if you are unable to get a tent and proper lighting etc. Outdoors can work out cheap as you will use the sun and don't need tents. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. If you were to flower that, the yield would not even be worth while. Doubt you'd even get 5g dry.
  3. I think it partially comes down to personal preference and what you want to achieve too. I would raise the plants / lower the LED light. I like to keep my light very close to my plants - this can also help keep the plants a bit shorter and reduce the internode spacing. If the light is further away, the plants may stretch a bit and the internode spacing may increase. How you have it shouldn't negatively affect the plants really, especially during veg. It is also hard to tell the distance looking at the pic and they're already raised a bit. P.S. I doubt that light actually draws 600W, but it's not a problem
  4. Yeah man! Whatever you have which you feel is top notch.
  5. Hey all, So thought it could be cool to see pictures of some of your best plants yet and post what they are, which breeders and strain. I have some Ethos seeds which I need to start growing, quite eager to see how they do. Some look superb, although will add some pictures once I have grown them out... If they are as good as they're meant to be. So far the best plant I have grown has been a bagseed mystery. She is still busy flowering, quite frustrating that I am not sure of the genetics behind her and will only truly know how great (or not) she is until she has been harvested and dried. No fancy colours, although I like the bud structure and she is full of trichomes and smells super fruity!
  6. Is it even worth while doing it yourself? Don't you need special equipment to pack it properly? Please keep us posted on what happens.
  7. Welcome and as Crex said, start a grow diary!
  8. Post a picture of the entire plant, 2 and a half months is generally a pretty massive bush and generally wouldn't still be on a window sill. Hard to say for sure, although looks like a female. If you're using just the sun, then it's going to be a while until she starts to flower unless you get involved and ensure she only gets 12 hours of light or less.
  9. Yeah, that is a male. It has nothing to do with pollen, a seed will either be male or female and that is before you even germinate it. Either will work, trays or pots. I prefer to go straight into pots and not transplant as often - unless I am struggling with space.
  10. I have some cheap Grow Guru bags, a Freedom Farm Bag and some PLant Matters bags. I like the ones from Plant Matters the most.
  11. What about AQ sf? http://www.agro-organics.co.za/aq-sf/ Never heard of Tenazole.
  12. I am using soil. Still have the Charlottes Angel going, they actually seem to be photoperiods and not auto's. So seems to be a mix up or perhaps just a bit unstable. So waiting for space in my flowering tent to put them in there to get them to flower. Such an incident may screw you over completely though.
  13. I get what you are saying, however it is in their T&C's that in outlaying areas you need to pay and free shipping is not applicable. @Gnome according to the T&C's though orders to outlaying areas do not qualify for free shipping and according to TCG your area is outlaying. So if anything it may be more appropriate to reach out to TCG to see why they classify Secunda as an outlaying area. As for the price difference, I am not sure. Although @420SA stated TCG have multiple pricing structures, so I assume different structures for the account you're using and the one THC are using. I know we have Aramex and DHL accounts at work and with Aramex we cannot ship close to the price of the Aramex store-to-door overnight service.
  14. All the autos I've grown so far have been from Dutch Passion and I have a few more to grow it. I'll be popping 2 more strains most likely over the next 2 / 3 weeks. I'm growing them as fillers in my veg area while waiting for my flowering plants to finish up. I'm leaning towards the Euforia and Brooklyn Sunrise. I'll most likely grow out 2 of each strain and spray one with STS for more seeds of each strain. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  15. I assume you've grown it? Please tell us more. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  16. That's unfortunate, although it really comes down to the couriers. Not really The High Co's fault. I do understand your frustration, although with free stuff there if itrn a catch and unfortunately Secunds is not JHB or PTA where its busy and happening. It will get significantly fewer deliveries and therefore affects their schedule and pricing too. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
  17. So from my limited experience, auto's seem to be rather "unstable" in the sense that you can get a few seeds from the same pack and they will start to flower at different times and this will affect the final size of the plant and therefore the yield. You do not have as much room for error either, stunting the plant will lower your yield. So do not expect a lot of consistency among the autoflowers, this will obviously differ from strain to strain and breeder to breeder. Nothing needs to be done differently with autoflowers in DWC. The main difference with autoflowers is that they will flower based on time, so you have no say with regards to when they will flower. Yields will vary from strain to strain and also depending on how well you do at looking after them - as mentioned stunting them will lower yield. Typically the strains which take longer to flower, will grow a bit larger and therefore be able to yield higher. As to which will veg for longer and yield more would come down to strain, not really breeder specific. I have grown Dutch Passion auto's without much issue, Mephisto apparently has some decent autoflowers and many others. Get a few and start growing them.
  18. Only 5 licenses, not many at all. The BEE requirements seem a bit ridiculous currently, although let's wait and see what actually comes about this.
  19. @CreX 10%? My average low RH in the house is around 29%
  20. I am not able to keep my RH that low unfortunately, I try and open my tent to drop the RH at least twice a day. So try make a plan if you have to.
  21. I meant with the pictures I posted last night, haha. That was the 3rd time I had defoliated the plants.
  22. It's hard to judge your plant with the pictures as in some photos the leaves look rather light and in others they look a bit darker. Are you giving her enough nutes? You PH your water and so forth? Also now that you are going into flower you want to start increasing the Potassium and Phosphorus and back off a bit on the nitrogen.
  23. So this is the 3rd defoliation I have done since flipping to flower. I lolipopped / schwarzed the plant twice - one when flipping to flower and again a week or so later and now removed the fan leaves. I should have removed the leaves sooner though, left all sugar leaves! Although even some fan leaves had some heavy trichomes going on at the base and stem.
  24. Now I really wish you had some OM soil to compare.
  25. Day 90 / Day 38 of Flower I did some defoliation, I removed some of the larger fan leaves (most of them), to allow more light to get to the buds. I feel I may have stunted the bud growth by not doing this sooner so I have learnt my lesson for next time. Looking much better with fewer leaves and I feel the airflow in my tent is now greatly improved, as well as light penetration. The Beautful looking bagseed: GSC, she had tons of leaves! Probably the most out of all the plants: GDP, looking mighty fine those buds! Nice and shiny, may not be the grape pheno but has me very excited to try her: CBD Critical Mass: Bruce Banner #3, the one which seems the most affected as it really has not filled out very well. Hoping it improves but I feel it is a bit late: A looot of leaves were removed, that is a 20L bucket. Just containing leaves from the 6 flowering plants: Pictures of what the tent looks like now after the plants have had their manicture:
