For interest sake, how are you deciding when to flush? What are you using as indicators?

Some like to let the plant form a root ball and then go up to a larger pot. I don't feel it's needed, do what works best for you in terms of space and effort. With autoflowers majority of people will plant the seed straight into a 20L pot. Apparently when going into a larger pot, the plant won't grow as fast initially due to it creating roots, but once the roots have developed and grown then it'll shoot off and grow really quickly! @CreX the Meanwell drivers do get a bit warm though, although they're built for it and have an awesome 5-7 year warranty. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

20L can still be moved relatively easily, the issue is the pot size after 20L which you'll use to flower... That's gonna be big and heavy. Best to pick a spot and leave it there. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I'm enjoying the Organic Matters soil, well worth it if you want some proper soil. I prefer it over the Freedom Farms soil. Good luck with your grow, you can get smaller pots or go for a larger pot right away (like 20L +) Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

I can't see properly by the pics, although I can't see any pollen sacs or pistils. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

How much power can you push through each strip (how many LED's per strip?) and which Samsung diodes are those? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Advice needed about my 1000W LED Full spectrum light
PsyCLown replied to BeerBottle's topic in LED Lighting
R1600 for 100w of proper LED's isn't terrible actually. The issue with HID is the electricity is going to make you cry aswl we'll as heat in summer, you'll need an aircon and that's further going to wreck your electricity bill. Although HID is dirt cheap for a starter grow. It also requires quite a bit of height, so no good for a smaller confined space. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk -
Yea, looks perfect. Then into some rooting powder / gel and then into the medium of choice (soil, jiffy, bubbler etc.) No need for a dome. Just ensure the medium stays moist, put them in with your veg plants as that should help keep the humidity higher. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Advice needed about my 1000W LED Full spectrum light
PsyCLown replied to BeerBottle's topic in LED Lighting
I say keep the light and use it for now, it'll work fine. Yes you do get better lights but for what you paid for it, it's fine. Save up and I'd suggest getting some quantum boards with Samsung diodes when you're able to afford them. Imo they're some of the best value for money LED's available currently. Excellent performance and efficiency, combine it with a high efficiency Meanwell driver / power supply and you've got yourself a superb light which will last quite a while. The type of diodes make a world's difference when it comes to growing with LED's. Also LED's are seldom run at their max power handling as their efficiency drops, you get diminished returns after a certain point. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk -
Advice needed about my 1000W LED Full spectrum light
PsyCLown replied to BeerBottle's topic in LED Lighting
You have not been ripped off per say, a 1000w light will cost way more and in a small area will probably burn your plants or not even fit. For that price, stick to what you have and save up for some better quality LED's, your current ones will work fine for your grow I'm sure. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk -
So you're going to find every one has their own preferred methods. I've tried to germinate in paper towel and in rapid rooters, I prefer paper towel. Firstly I've never scrubbed / sanded my seeds. I only soak for around 24 hours and have yet to see taproots during that period. I then put them into some Woolworths paper towels (no bleach) and into a zip lock bag to seal in the moisture. I then wait for the taproot to be around 1-2cm long (sometimes they're longer), I then use tweezers and stick them into soil with the leaves / shell exposed above the soil. So far I've only had 1 seed not germinate. I prefer paper towel over rapid rooters as I find it germinates a little quicker, roots take easier and quicker when in soil. I like that you can see whether a seed has a taproot yet in paper towel too. I planted a seed into soil once and covered it and it germinated but then was growing sideways and I had to redirect it and risk damaging it. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Extremely unlikely it's 1000w. Best would be to hook up a multimeter to it and check the volts & amps and calculate the wattage that way. If I had to guess I'd say it draws between 120-250W I'd probably keep it around 30-60cm above the. Canopy depending on the power and the type of LED's used. Day 79 / Day 27 of Flower A quick update of some pics, will do a more detailed update in a few days. These pics were taken last night. Flowering is going well, buds are forming nicely and they're filling out. I must admit, the bagseed is actually the best looking and smelling plant currently. I may need to give it a name and keep it. I have pics of the three at the back and what they are and then all 6 together. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

This is something I have been wondering about as well since the changes in the US were made. How would they accurately test to see whether you are / were under the influence? I wonder if they are able to tell how much currently "active" THC is in your blood vs how much "dormant" THC is there? Also what about medical patients who have built up a tolerance to it.

With lights there is always a play off, unless you are able to afford some decent grow lights once off. I personally feel it is worth finding the cash to get good quality LED grow lights. Will save you a lot of money in the long run! Not just because you do not need to purchase better lights later on, but you will be saving on electricity too!

So seems the pollen took for the Daquari Lime as there are some orange / brown / burnt pistils on the plants. I am starting to wonder whether the Charlottes Angel seed were mixed up and that I received some photoperiod seeds as opposed to autoflower seeds as the plants are 2 months old and still no signs of sex, let alone any signs of flowering. I may take some cuttings and see what happens, I would not mind at all if they were photoperiod instead, I'd actually prefer it!

That's correct, I think they have an hour or two to take you to have your blood drawn for the court case. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

Those strips use the LM301B diodes, correct? Same as my Quantum Boards, I love them! 3000K I find works really well, even for veg. I assume you will be using alu strips to mount them to?

Well now you making me think... This is my 1st grow, so not sure how big she'll grow lol! I believe outdoor plants only start to flower in Jan - March, properly from march. So you still have a few months of veg time with her if you're doing it outdoors. You could cut it short by only giving her light for 12 hours and then bringing her inside for 12 hours and making sure she gets no light for those 12 hours. Then you can flower whenever you want to. 20L should be sufficient then.
