Ah now i know exactly what you talking about...its the same stuff in bleach? I wash my res with bleach once a week. I heard about using bleach in the res but I was a bit sceptical knowing im going to smoke this plant lol...the flush should get rid of any im sure.. As far as nutes go, i got a nutrient mix from Hydroherb, i was planning to get general hydroponics or nutriplex etc. landed up taking a much cheaper option of nutes that was recommended for hydroponics. Its a 3 part powder that gets diluted in water bottles. Part A Part B and the MPK bloom booster...so far my plants are growing so i assume its working...but would like to have the International acclaimed nutes with exact info...

420, Im currently using nutes and bloom booster only. I dont know where to start looking for things, because our Nurseries around here dont even have Hydro clay or net pots, I had to drive over 200km to Hydroherb to get some lol.. But i appreciate the input and will try find some around here. Healthy roots = Healthy Plant

Roots are a nice Creamy colour... Anyone see some resemblance on my plants structure comparing to the Haze on the right?

Thanks 420, I am super proud of her even though I don't know her name lol I wanted a Sativa and I was lucky with this one. On the other hand my next grow I will try get some known genetic Seeds, I really really want a Jack Herer. However from bags that I have bought, this plant is either Super Lemon Haze or its Lemon Skunk. I should figure that out with flowering times. I have a clone of her thats in DWC as well and shes big already too. The mother probably would look different if i started in DWC from the beginning. Not too bad for a first time grower hehe. Il post a pic of the root area also, and thanks for checking out my grow.

Following Troys suggestion, another idea could be to put the tent in front the window and run your intake and exhaust from the tent straight to the plastic or whatever you choose to seal your window. This will get pure fresh air into the tent and all hot air out with minimal distance and smaller ducting also. That is dependant on whether or not the tent can be moved to the window. Peace

I think im going to first see how my plant comes out after flowering with CFL and then decide whether i should upgrade to led or hid..but the heat is major issues for me in the space i have...

Wow I really don't know what to do now lol... I could maybe try get a better Led. For me the heat issue is going to be a winner..but also don't wanna blow the cash on a led that's not so gr8...hmmm makes my choice harder..I know which place you talking about I'm waiting for them to get stock...now I'm unsure help...

Can anyone comment on the LED that hydroherb sell, I saw a 300w there how are the results of growing sofar? I'm thinking to add led now also like 300w...im 30 days in flower

Hi TK, This is just an idea... Place black plastic over the whole window and get some aluminium ducting, I would suggest a nice 10" or 12" and attach that to the black plastic then run the ducting down to the floor where the cheap box fan stands. Duct tape or attach the duct to the rear of the fan. And your smiling...that will cost you not too much..and no light in or out...ar at least minimal light leakage for cheap.. You could use darker duct to avoid light reflection or spray the aluminium duct black inside if light leaking in is a hassle You could diy something similar if you on a budget. Just an idea...use it don't use it lol Peace happy growing

I think you did good on harvest and I would pick according to the tricromes also..from what Iv read the curing and drying will slightly further develop using the last chlorophyll etc. in the wet stems..i like a sativa high so my plan would be to start harvesting when 50% clear to milky and some will go at milky then some amber.I want to know and experience them all to know what's best for me though. I'm sure you will be happy with your harvest.just give a nice dry and cure...im sure I'm ranting you already know all this...

@max I read about it and many supplement with cool cfl during flowering for more frosting.Il be able to deliver a report on the smoke when mines complete. They say the sun would grow better plants if it was more in the blue spectrum Will remove pics to keep clean totally understandable.. Happy growing

Welcome aboard ---edited--- if you need any info on cfl growing and dwc I'm on my first grow and I have a monster of 1.4m tall...check out my Bagseed grow journal too. I planted 3 seeds and all are Female and in flower now for almost 30 days. My grow is also Cancer related, but I was a toker since the Millenium...I for one cannot wait to try my own harvest. welcome to the team buddy if you need anything just shout there are so many knowledgeable people on the forum. And for CFL what Iv learnt is to try aim for 50watts a plant...anything more will be an advantage if you can go 100 a plant even better...the cfls need to be around 4" above or away from plant for best penetration...pretty much exactly as 420 stated. To ease your mind I have 3 plants under 400w of CFL that's 4 globes...although I'm looking to get LED soon too..you can flower under cool white also as I'm doing and my plants are fine so far. I have heard that blue spectrum increases potency and red spectrum increases yield...just make sure you vegetate plant under the " cool white" cfl and not the "yellow looking warm white" cfl..although flowering is recommended under warm white cfl..im living proof you can flower under cool white..
