  1. I do believe that Biobizz recomends the opposite, "it is beneficial to replace Bio·Grow® with Fish·Mix™ in the vegetative phase but switch to Bio·Grow® when you want to trigger flowering." So Fishmix for veg, BioGrow for flower. I was also corrected once by @Totemic as at the time I was doing the opposite by mistake. But if you meant what you meant @Prom then that would be very interesting and I would need to dig deeper into that.
  2. I'd wait until it's ripe and just make a huge batch of RSO with it.
  3. Ah it shouldn't be that in that case. Maybe just a stubborn batch, they look pretty stellar already!
  4. What are your temps looking like at the moment?
  5. That's hot. Here I am saving bucks for a Qure test
  6. Next batch of ZxP has been chopped this morning. 5 colourful plants in all, and some nice full buds hanging off the branches. I am going to slightly modify my usual harvest routine. Usually I would remove all the big fan leaves and then lay the branches on a dry net in a closed empty grow tent. This time around I am going to hang the whole plants upside-down in an empty grow tent. My intention is to slow down the drying process and to put a little more emphasis into a proper cure, seeing as I have some good stock for once and am not in such a rush to get my fix This is looking to be some of the best ZxP I have grown yet. Now to get a full tent of it!
  7. Afrihost bought them last year. Now they suck
  8. Still looks quite full! But I am sure you will be able to shape it nicely
  9. I don't think I'll outright do my own part by part mix of soil so I think to start out I will go for Living Organic Mix by Organics Matters with a 1/4 mix of worm castings, then a handful of Talborne Vita Grow for veg, then add some Vita Flower along with a top dress of the above at flip to flower. Myco to also be used at every transplant. Then for the most part I will just feed with plain water.
  10. A few things to take into consideration. I am using Biobizz with just the Organic Tent™ (4 plants) and I am also using the full range; Root Juice, Fish Mix, Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Top Max, Acti Vera and Bio Heaven. It can get pretty pricey if buying retail. I happened to have quite a bit of the above Biobizz products because I had bought it wholesale some time ago with the intention of reselling but didn't quite manage to sell all of it, so I decided to just give it a shot in a personal grow to see what all the hubbub is about. I would still probably go for TA because it just works. It's consistent, fewer products and cheaper. Fully agreed, and when I'm done with the Biobizz I'd like to look into this. I've been reading up on KIS organics and have been listening a bit to their podcast with Tad Hussay called Cannabis Cultivation and Science. They provide some really great insight in how to grow organically and cheaply without compromising on quality, but it's a science and I feel you really gotta know what you're doing to prevent any headaches. Which I guess is why Biobizz has it's place in the organic world because it is indeed technically organic and basically plug and play, whereas mixing your own soil might take some trial and error. I am willing to give it a shot seeing as I have multiple tents so I wouldn't be left out completely in the cold if something were to falter. Feel you on this one, Chief.
  11. Indeed sir, I am very happy with the performance of the Wedding Cake. The last run I did of it I was still selecting phenos and this was the top pick out of the bunch that I could finally do a proper run of. The frost and terpenes are top class, although it does lack somewhat in bud size. I'd like to do a manifold/top of it to see if I can improve the yield. Four years later First time ever using organic nutes/Biobizz. I call it Organic Tent™ ironically because personally I would consider a grow true organic if it's just soil, amendments and teas/water. The Biobizz feels like a bit of a cheat
  12. I'd assume they would be fine as long as they are similar ballast types ie they are both digital ballasts and you set the Backline ballast to the correct wattage. Those Lumii ballasts don't look like traditional LED drivers. Lumii also sells plenty of other stuff that requires traditional ballasts so it makes sense that they would develop an LED that you could just replace your HPS setup with without having to also replace your ballasts.
  13. I was actually selling panel heaters with a stand and I could have thrown in a Sonoff switch but no-one was interested Linky Fan heaters are not good to use for this purpose because they dry the air considerably. The gentle heat from a panel is much more suited to our goals. Cannabis plants can survive anything that isn't below freezing, so the absolute lowest would be 2C. Although I'd say your metabolism and plant growth will start lowering noticeably at around 18C. I've personally made it through flower at temps as low as 14C before I started trying figuring out how to raise the temps.
  14. ZxP is 8 weeks tomorrow and the Wedding Cake is 7 weeks. The ZxP is looking ripe for the picking, so I will probably turn the taps off tonight. The Wedding Cake still looks a bit green and glassy so it will keep going, maybe through to 9 weeks. ZxP Wedding Cake My Organic Tent™ is at 3 weeks into flower and is pushing some good flower already. I am going to bump up the Biobizz ratios a bit. I have been alternating between feeds and fresh water so far. I am impressed with the results of the Biobizz nutes.
  15. The big fad right now is additional UV diodes which, frankly, aren't true UV and plus, people aren't even aware of the dangers of true UV and how to protect yourself when using it. The commercial LEDs are definitely getting nicer, and they could be making them cheaper still if they weren't trying to stuff every gimmick onto the boards.
  16. A friend inherited a really nice press so I'd like to make use of all the frosty sugar leaves and trim I've been getting lately out of my harvests and make some dab. I want to reach outer space.
  17. Brudda, did you come right? I'm on the hunt myself.
  18. I heard a similar group of guys got taken down in Durban recently. It appears if you are full-on just growing weed for people, somebody is going to have a problem. Although it seems that hydro stores and cafes who supply cannabis to individuals are being left alone for the most part. Kinda fucky, but this is the trend I'm seeing.
  19. From the years I've been here, it comes in waves. I have a mental list for certain people I'd like to see back, @Pat999 being one of them What usually happens is a surge of new guys come, some stick around and learn how to grow that dank dank, some will remain and pass on the knowledge and others will just bounce forever. Some of those that bounce will form offline groups and just work amongst themselves for the most part so that they get the support without exposing themselves at all online. The last super surge was in 2019 just after the Con Court announced we could grow freely at home. I think the next jump will be when they (hopefully) announce grow clubs to be legal.
