You can start growing indoors and then take clones outdoors later

More like Baeseeds! I see Bayseeds on many of the local seed banks.

Did you spray the neem oil during the day or night? It might be a combination of cold and the neem oil spray.

BnB had a special on them and I was interested in the Zkittlez part of the ZxP. The ZxP was so great I tried more of their stuff. So far I'm keeping three of their strains. Probably more Ripper Seeds but I'm not sure. Maybe even get a cut from a homie of something they are rocking. I'm open to ideas.

I've been a Ripper Seeds whore through and through for a long while now, all my strains are Ripper Seeds. I would like way more space and plants to do selections for breeding. I will leave it to the experts for now I actually want to buy something new soon for after my one small tent is done. I have the opportunity and space.

Agreed. Stopped pH'ing organic soil/nutrients and it was probably the best organic run I ever did.
-
I honestly think I am just lucky when it comes to the strains/genetics. I got the ZxP from a pack of 3 seeds of which only 1 grew, so there was zero pheno hunting. I have grown it now for more than two solid years. I just kept cloning before switching to flower to preserve the strain. Now with the new genetics I try keep an original mother plant that I bonsai and take clones from. I'll pop the seeds, clone before flowering, keep the clones until I've cured the buds and then do the final selection. Most times though I can get a really good idea of which plants I can shortlist by the time I harvest, considering the way the plants grew up until that point.

Some cheeky pics. Harvest window ETA is in about a week ie. ~7 July. All the same strain, but some variance between the plants The frost is at least looking clean. It smells great! The bud is pretty leafy though. Trim time is longer but there's always plenty sugar trim for other things.

Negative. Crex's Instagram is this.

New 100x100x200 LightHouse Light Tent

One tent left. -
45 days since flip to flower. Getting some fade on some plants but also a colour shift on others I am starting to experience more variance from this strain. Making me suspicious. Could this be what they call genetic variance? I've been cloning the shit out of this strain now for three years and only really started keeping a mother plant recently. Up until then I just took clones before flipping the tent. I had a feeling in my bones to prepare for such an event and that's why I did the organic tent above with new strains (Radical Juice + Zombie Bride). Honestly the Radical Juice claps me too hard, like it makes me uncomfortable, especially the chosen pheno that at this point is already all gone. The people love to use it, but it isn't for me. The Zombie Bride is way more mellow and something I personally enjoy toking anytime of day. Doesn't get you too monged, can wake and bake with it, and it comes down to a chill vibe. It'd be a bleak day chopping the ZxP.

Updated price and amount of bottles left still. R150 per bottle. 8 x Fish Mix 7 x Grow 5 x Bloom -
Preferably with a chelate solution like FlashKleen. Do until runoff shows low enough EC. I'd recommend adding a little fresh coco anyways though if reusing.
-
You are correct. In fact I am not sure how I have gotten away this far with the bottom feeding autopots with no runoff. Maybe because there is no excess at all due to each pot being independently regulated so each pot only gets as much as that specific plant needs. I also have oxygen pumped to the bottom of each pot so it doesn't really just "sit" in the nutrient feed. I also agree that the medium should remain relatively moist for coco/hydro growing. I've managed to finally get that right with the autopots by developing the root system substantially before switching to the reservoir for the bottom feeding. It causes a wicking effect which draws moisture all the way from the bottom to up the pot. I will say though, reusing the medium was a major fail last time I did it, most likely because of the salt buildup.
-
I don't really count weeks in vegetative state, but those plants are roughly 1.5 months from cloning. I've already topped and trained them and I'm still hand watering to develop the root zone before switching on the reservoir for the autopots. I will keep at least 4-5 branches and cut away the bottom branches as I go. This strain is well suited for training and I wouldn't try this style with any strain. I've had some belly-up grows because of trying to train a new strain far too much. You just gotta find the one that will fit your grow style takes time but is well worth it.

Halfway through flower. Cleaned up the canopy and defoliated the lower to mid branches. All good in the hood. @AK-47 Gold Arabesque

Great start, good equipment, solid method. You should have a really good run with this.

19 days since flip. Nice preflower development so far. Clean under the net, environment is also tops. Happy with the grow so far.
-
Bummer about the seeds dude. I have been hearing a lot of similar things regarding Ethos in general. Probably not the fault of Ethos, I think somewhere during the supply chain a batch of seeds must've spoiled.
-
You can do it this way around no problem. As far as I know, salt nutes kill the micro life in a soil. Also, you'd probably be using an inert medium such as coco which has no micro life to begin with. Adding organic bloom nutrients would essentially do nothing in my understand. Happy to be corrected though, just going on my knowledge.

Definitely more custom. It's nice to be also able to decide the sizes of the outlets. Only problem is resale. It's never a guarantee the next guy will want the same configuration, if you happen to get a little wacky.
-
Put in the net and gave the bottom branches a final trim. I should be good from here until full flower. Canopy is looking real good and level. One week since flip.

For science!

Definitely true. In that case disregard all my measurements. The dehumidifier and tent plus ventilation might be a factor as well.
