    💔

The clawing could definitely be wind burn. Remind me pls what light you're using and how close is it to the canopy?

That fan there.. has it been blasting wind into your plants head-on?
  3. In terms of light spectrum and bud quality, I absolutely believe HID bulbs beat LED (quantum board with Samsung LM301B/H diodes specifically). However at the cost of more heat, less light spread and higher electricity cost, all of which the average homegrower wants the opposite of.
  4. Personally I think 600W MH for those sized plants (and especially from seed for that matter) is way too much power. I can mainline two different plants fully throughout veg with just a single 250W MH, and even then I'm only going to use 400W HPS in flower for two plants, 16 colas total between them. I'd use 600W MH/HPS if I were growing a SCrOG per 1.2m², and even then if you can afford a 600W kit you'd then rather go 250W Quantum Board cause then you don't need as much cooling plus you get better spread. But these are recent lessons of mine and I'm doing one more round with the bulbs before converting myself over fully to Quantum Boards.
  5. I did experience this as well. It happened for me if I added the silica at any time after adding nutes and had the airstones on. If I keep the airstones off, add the silica first to fresh water and then add nutes, mix physically then switch on airstones I don't get any froth.
  6. Got any idea what you pH is like? They look like they were stunted. The autoflower won't do you too much I rate. The phenos could still recover over time. You using 600W MH at the moment yeah?
  7. Nutriplex was the first nutes I ever used in my first ever grow. Treat the recommended doses as the MAX, keep your feeds at about 2/3 the recommended dose and you should be good.
  8. Ever since I started using additional silica in my DWC feeds I've been experiencing much thicker and more rigid stems in general. I also tried to defoliate as much of what would not be used sooner rather than later, specifically with this grow I definitely took a more aggressive approach. In terms of how I top, I'll usually wait for the initial 5 nodes from seed then top in-between nodes 3 and 4, cutting as close to the 4th node as possible. This leaves a little bit of stem on top of the 3rd node which in my experience gives them much more space and support to get nice and beefy. It should also help much, much later on to prevent the stem from splitting at that point during your last few days of flowering. This is the specific silica that I use:
  9. "Hey Groot, roll us a joint there bruv." *3 months later "Groot" *Displays 5 finger buds "What?"
  10. Some better pics of the mainline structures. just for @afternoon blazer these girls are beefy and the structure should be able to hold any sized colas they can develop, unless I get some freaks of nature that is.. we can only hope. I think I will be flipping tomorrow and throwing in the daddy 400W HPS bulbs. Also good to note, everything up until now has been under 250W MH bulbs (minus the soil plants of course, strictly speaking the mainlined plants). So you could comfortably grow 2 plants and mainline both of them under a single 250W for veg. This was secretly a little test I wanted to conduct to see if one could do it and I think the 250W bulbs get a bad rep, but if it's all you got for veg, I'd have to say don't stress
  11. Not like my last one I hope the way I'm cleaning them in my current grow I believe will result in much better bud production, albeit less buds. Tnx
  12. Think I've trimmed to the structure that I want the plants to grow in. Rate I am going to let them recover from the trimming and then start the flip.
  13. I was just pulling legs okes. I know the guys involved and this setup is non existent
  14. You can thank @CreX for getting through so quick Welcome to the forum, you lurker you.
  15. A classic beauty indeed. Probably the only vaporizer that's great for groups. GLWS
  16. I can vouch for this device. Works very well. GLWS
  17. Small update, not too much to show. Still focusing on building the manifolds of the DWC plants. The two on the left are struggling to catch up to the bigger ones which are begging for the 400W bulbs but I don't want to increase power until they are somewhat more similar in size. At some point I'll have to just make the flip. Soil ladies doing real nice. I did take one Skywalker OG and started flowering her outside and take her inside for the evenings so she doesn't get too cold. I felt like having 5 plants under a single 250W QB was one plant too many.. plus I didn't feel like repotting her also just curious to see what happens.
  18. Those pH pens are jutt. Invest in a decent one. Example of mid-range decent pH pen: https://gthydro.co.za/products/577-ph-meter-80.html
  19. Wouldn't mind 4 x 250W QB to get lekker spread in the tent. By incorporating the ScrOG method and creating as flat of a canopy as possible, the consensus has become spread > power over time. Although 1000W of QB LED in said tent is pretty beefy regardless of the principle.
  20. I'm catching up to you, China.
