A very reasonable fear in this regard
-
I'd definitely never recommend it to any soil growers as it has citric acid, but if you're doing DWC or soilless it's simply a bloom booster for when you do your initial switch to flower.

@Bakstein420 you mind posting links or info on where these services are in JHB and CPT? Extraction services is a new one for me.

@SkunkPharm I don't think @DankFiend is looking for a premix medium, he's looking for the Atami PK-fertilizer suspension called Bloombastic. @DankFiend Home Gro Depot can give you free bottles if you go visit them. They are located in the Kingswood Centre in Glenhazel, Johannesburg.

Boosters ripeners additives with coco grow

@Mambawana @greenkush Home Gro Depot in Glenhazel are giving out free samples to customers. They are in the Kingswood Centre on Northfield Avenue. -
Cool topic, so smoke helps with germination and seedlings of plants that do not germinate easily I've never struggled to germinate cannabis seeds specifically. Apart from smoke assisting difficult to germinate species of plants, I wonder if it would affect the yield or quality of cannabis bud suppose if it affected initial vegetative vigor, perhaps one could flip to flowering sooner from seed? Maybe autos could benefit from smoke

That is only if policy is so that it allows people in such areas to create start-up ventures and small businesses without too heavy handed red tape, registration and expensive licensing. Otherwise it will only be big corp benefiting once again over the local populace. Although nice to see our financial minister recognising the economic opportunity of the plant for the country (we can save the conversation of misappropriation of said potential funds for another day...)

Didn't even have time to sit and post about it until now but yaaah.. think the next spot won't be so shortwinded
-
Sorry people, had a falling out and had to move out the premises. Crop has been slain. Will have to start anew when I find myself a spot again Let's go 2020

"and even a cannabis dispensary retail store are now doing business.." Thought ol' uncle Russ was in the slammer Maybe Cannapax not the only cannabis dispensary retail store around.. although many Cannapax did open under alternative trading names. Wonder if they are still operating, the ones that didn't get directly shutdown Otherwise, I'll agree that cannabis in South Africa has achieved quite a bit in 2019, which the article wishes to express. I've spoken to people during the year I would never have though would have been remotely interested or know of cannabis, and I thino the populace is opening up to it gradually. As far as I understand, the flower and concentrate cannabis cups come across as close-knit and probably for obvious reasons. I haven't come across many open invites to such events. But I like you pushing the Agricultural Show as a means of displaying one's plants to those who would usually not come across it otherwise Awesome stuff @Chris Jay, keep it coming ✌

I for one would like to know how you transported your wonderful ladies

Your grow is so massive to me. Well played sir

If @Mr_Nice_Guy is down to do full grows indoors he could definitely make it a snazzy grow cupboard. But even me as a primarily indoor grower, if I'm out doing the outdoor life already I'd be hardpressed to daddle too much in indoor.
-
Just sounds like bad luck. Sometimes dem beans just don't pop duds
-
Why not use the full height of the cupboard from the get go?

Left the grow alone to another friend for a week while I went galavanting at the coast. Came back to find some nice pre-flowering plants. pH was way out in the 4.0 range and some leaves around the canopy showed signs of burning and curling. Might have been a bit of light stress involved as well. Otherwise the resin production is ramping up. Could barely pick off a few fan leaves without getting my fingers sticky.

Often the assumption is that a bud wash is only necessary for outdoor plants or when PM is had. Although one would be very surprised how much fine dust, hair and general fluffs can enter the average indoor grow space. I've known about bud washing and it shows through those who have used it to be a great enhancer to one's bud, but I haven't really been that interested in doing it myself as of yet. Might just do a wash on one half of my current grow as a comparison

Link him your tea thread bruh @Meepmeepza :

Weird thing happened, even with all the loadshedding my analog timer was still set to the current time my helper didn't correct it, so I'm assuming there must have been exactly 24hrs of loadshedding in the time I was gone. But either way, if they have started flowering already it's no problem. The timer is officially flipped to flowering and I'll be doing some defoliation when it is lights on again.

She did very well although she only refilled the reservoirs, she was too nervous to manipulate the plant so everything you see was pretty much hands off for a week and a half
-
Rate I'll pull triggers tomorrow
-
So I've been out of the country for a week and a half and left the grow to a trusty novice to just help keep the reservoirs filled for me. This is what I came back to: Got quite the monster bush on my hands. Not too sure how much I'd like to defoliate or if even at all. I feel I've gotten a bit heavy handed with it in the past so I feel apprehensive about it. Plants looking super healthy though.

Call it impromptu supercropping
-
I've got a car battery that I was using as a UPS for the air pumps when I was still at my old place. Still have a few lying around but being out of the country at the moment isn't helping much got a novice looking after the current grow but all they know to do is top-up the reservoirs. All the rest is up to the Gods of the Herb.
