Other than the lighting I'm battling keeping oxygen supply to my roots in my DWC setup. So far the concoction I've got in the reservoirs are keeping any nasties at bay but this is the longest my air supply has been off. Could probably beat another day or two of this Escum business but can't be sure if it keeps up for the rest of the month. Word is if Escum decides to do a full system reset it could be up to three months of this shoddiness

Who else is getting absolutely wrecked with regards to loadshedding and their light schedules? I've been pretty lucky thus far but today my luck has run out. Expecting six hours off schedule to my lighting, flowering period nonetheless but if this continues I might be a little worried.. not sure how bad it's going to get in general though Anyways, more of a rant than anything..

Eiiiish ja, tore my rotator cuff snowboarding and it took a good 5 years to get back to normal, tried physio for a year at first but kept dislocating the shoulder doing the exercises. Ended up doing the bankart repair surgery with a fantastic surgeon and 4 years later my fixed shoulder is better than my uninjured shoulder

Thanks @KushNewbie. Very interested to see what happens in February. You gotta try pretty hard to be denied bail. That's some serious afkak for one to be in.

You might have a license to grow for R23000 but your product will still fall under the Medicines and Related Substances Act. Your product will be scheduled, will need to be registered per strain and per product made and quality control standards will come into play. Okes playing in the black market that try going legal under whatever legal framework is presented here might as well just stay in the black market. There will be no ability for the small farmer to make a legal living off of the herb in SA anytime soon. I predict things to go the same way as it has in Canada; commercially focused, focus on exports, and fokol for the little guy.

Damn if I've been getting shit done off of indica I wonder what I could do with a little more sativa in my life Honestly surprised sativa is more popular here.

Switched to flower light schedule this past weekend and today flushed the res and filled with flowering dosage of nutes. Following the dosage I get 2.0 EC and since the last flush the plants have done well at that EC. Done some defoliation work on both the plants, more so on the left lady than the right. The right plant splits much more closely to the net and more of the minor branches could be utilised than on the left plant. In future I think I'd like to replicate how I grew the right plant for further scrog grows. The shape looks much more suited for the setup. Time will tell which grows better.

Funny enough, since posting about Da Buddha in July I've actually been using my Arizer ArGo much more often. I tend to reserve Da Buddha for sessions with friends these days as opposed to using it by myself. Although on days when I'd really like to shoot for the stars I will plug in Da Buddha

Indica all the way. I'm already hyper enough sober so the indica strains help level things out, and then some

He's running his at 780W probably more heat generated than us

Not totally sure. First time I'm doing scrog so I will have to monitor the canopy but I would ultimately like it all to be as level as possible.

Looking to flip on Sunday then let the plant stretch upwards from there.

Got the lights set to 140W. About max 40cm from canopy. Refreshed the res again this week and increased EC to 2.0. Varied the pH quite well this week. Veg continued:

Stressing your plant with your lights sounds outrageous @Mambawana tell us what you know about breeders doing it? Is it to produce a hermie and get seeds from the same plant or such?

More like test "launch"

Upped it with nutes, however still within the recommended dose specified by Nutriplex. Think I've figured out the discrepancy between recommended dosage and suggested EC. Recommended dosage in veg is 8ml per 10l of each formula. The EC you get with the nutes alone then is 0.8EC. However the suggested EC is 1.5-2.2. That should probably be upped using additives and not with more nutes. I'll apply this on the next res change in a week when I flip to flower.
-
Pumped up the EC to 1.2 Plants are looking much happier now. Scrog slowly filling up

Careful not to snap a branch if you do decide to bend your plants. Bend from the tips for safety, gently and slow. One day you will eventually snap a branch, but it doesn't have to be today.

Think the bazooka limit is like 1.3 bazookas per person

Joh my dude that's hectic though, "The firearms included AK47s, R1 rifles, hand guns, rocket launchers and ammunition boxes." Rocket launchers wtf these guys are playing GTA in real life "Motsoaledi said officers from the Pretoria and Soshanguve K9 unit pounced on the property after getting a tip-off from someone who allegedly used to buy drugs there." So it wasn't the fact that these okes had collected enough guns for a mini war that tipped the cops off but a cheeky little snitch these days I can't even get my ID certified by these people

I got this chart from Nutriplex: It recommends 8ml per 10l of each formula while still in veg. But it also suggests an EC between 1.5-2.2 in growth. What I find is that when I apply the recommended dosage of 8ml per 10l I don't get near the suggested EC. I think you may have a point, maybe I've read it wrong and the 8ml per 10l dose is just for the initial week of veg and then you increase the dose until you hit the recommended EC.

This is the meter I have: https://gthydro.co.za/products/584-ec-meter-ap2.html It supposedly factors in temperature then displays a reading in ppm. Measurement comes out as 400. 400x2/1000=0.8EC according to the ratio which this specific pen uses which is ppm500/TDS therefore 0.50 conversion ratio. ..."due to the fact that various meter manufacturers choose to calculate ppm using differing ratios. To derive the ppm value on these meters, EC is first measured, then multiplied by a particular ratio to yield a value for ppm. Much of the U.S. will experience a 0.50 conversion ratio, whereas many other parts of the world utilize a 0.64 and even 0.70 conversion ratio." -https://dutchmasternutrients.com/growers-guide/ppm-vs-ec/ I also found this chart that gives a good range of reference at a glance: https://www.getbluelab.com/Resource+Library/Conductivity.html What EC would you recommend though?
