  1. Hey guys, so im very excited about this lady. she was gifted to me by Highchome, thanks dude i will treat her well. So i got her in pure coco/perlite mix, re-potted into coco/perlite/soil mix into 20lt pot. did some lower branch training to maximize light penetration. The first pic was when i just got her, 2nd after all the adjustments. i put her into the sunlight on Saturday and she loved it. Back in the garage now with the other plants.
  2. My earlier post was about defoliating, this is about cutting the leaves on the bud sites. i should've probably stated that earlier. but yeah, Jorge knows his shit. his got a shitload of useful info.

    LIGHT BURN?

Sorry for the late reply. Tested the runoff PPM, "Fuck me" it was over 4k, so i started giving only water ph 6.3 about 3-4lt per day for the past 2 days. will water again later today and take reading again.
  4. NO.3 is a big "NO" You should not cut the leaves growing in the bud site, those leaves feed the bud.
  5. I cut them off as soon as the supporting stem shows its new leaves. Cut the fan leave so the “energy” goes to new growth. Also defoliation does increase growth and yield.
  6. wrong thread, lmao These plants are good now, trimmed and defoliated them all. they putting some body on. Will flip them all in about 3-4weeks. The issue i got is on the Light burn? thread in sickbay. Also burnt, curling inward tips on new growth. Please check and give some feedback, you guys are helping me with this grow more than you can imagine.
  7. i use COCO/Perlite/Soil mix EHG nutes, usually put less than specified amount. Currently 10ml Micro/20ml Grow/0ml bloom EC usually between 0.7-0.9 Ph 6.2. I agree, think it is nute burn though, i added some Calmag and Multifeed to plants a few days ago on a water day. so it was feeding, skip, water, skip, feeding Usually its feeding, skip, water, skip, water, skip, feeding. The other plants seem to be fine, not showing any signs yet.
  8. Just an update on these plants. Photos taken Monday. All been defoliated. no clue of sex yet, heres to hoping for at least a 70% female return.

    LIGHT BURN?

Hey guys so the leaves look better, then i noticed this earlier. Notice how the tips curl inward? Should i be concerned?

@PAUL EHG Thanx for clearing that up for me, i usually water with ph around 6.0-6.3, my runoff is usually not far off from that, less than 1 point off. havent measured runoff EC or PPm i first thought it was iron, because it started in the new growth areas, but quickly came right again. Yhis pic was taken last night, after defoliating, she looks better.
  11. @Pat999 im pretty sure that is what happened. Was wondering why the hortishop would sell this kak. I reckon rockwool would be best option for cloning.
  12. Thanx man. Word of advice, something i wish i knew earlier. When feeding ur plants, pay attention to PH, EC and PPM. It makes a huge difference if you keep these within the proper range for current life cycle of the plant. I only figured this out around week3 and within days i could see increase in growth. the pics below was before i started monitoring EC and PPM more or less a week apart. All the plants grew. Also defoliated them all
  13. I have, since placing this question, reduced watering by a lot. Only water every 2nd day, every 3 time is feeding. Use a lot less water when watering too, so the runoff is a moerse lot less than before. I also use between 1.5-2lt on 25lt pots and about 500-750ml on 5lt pots. Must admit, since changing it to this routine the plants have increased in grows much faster than before. @KushNewbie thanks for the link, some interesting replies, but I think i will rather not re-use runoff water on my cannabis. So now i just toss that runoff into outside garden.
  14. I think they might be palm peat and not coco peat. Wont be using these for clones, think i will go rock-wool instead. Keep the Jiffy’s for seedlings. any idea why it turns green? How can i prevent it? It takes the fungus with when planting to pots. Starts showing up in pots after a few days. I dont like it, it doesn't look nice and pretty.
  15. Here are the ladies again today after and before defoliation.
  16. Hey guys i forgot to upload these earlier the week. The girls on Tuesday
  17. TBH i believe that, i've placed about 10 seeds in jiffy pellets before they popped and nothing happened. so now i wait for them to pop open before placing in jiffy pellets. Also, has anyone noticed how the jiffy pellets turn green with fungus after a few days?

I've narrowed it down to what i think it could be. ive had problems with Iron deficiency before. i did not add calmag to last feeding, so im open to that possibility too.

    LIGHT BURN?

Has anyone tried the lux app in the app store? Is it accurate enough to use? Downloaded it, works and all, just not sure how accurate it is.

Ph 6.0-6.2 usually in this range ppm 450 ec 0.9 room temp 19-24 humdity 50-70 this is the only plant to show these signs, so far. Hoping its isolated.
