  1. Got some goodies. Was planning to buy the items separately, so got the kit for way cheaper. Got the CTF 150 kit. Was going to get the metal HIT150 but opted for the CTF150 instead as it handles moisture better and easier to mount and install.
  2. Cool man, sure you can bounce off ideas. Scrog by definition should assist with the wind. Personally Ill be like a weather man, checking daily reports, wind directions and strength, etc. Moving the scrog and setting up protection where I can. I found a nice little north facing section where I intend to keep them.
  3. haha, its funny you should mention that. My intention is also to build one for outside. Late October to grow a batch outside. Yeah man, Ill take pics as I am going.
  4. The scrog is going to be in the cab. Its give me the flexibility of mobility. I have illustrated separately to give an idea of the concept.
  5. Thanks bud, I just wanted to gain some outside perspective, out of the box thinking, excuse the pun. I think Ill tackle this build this weekend. Ill post some pics with the build.
  6. Hi Guys, With my current grow evolving, I would need to adapt accordingly. I have a small clone/mother set up and a decent size veg cab currently. I have noticed that even in the current veg state the plants are starting to ooze their sweet aromas. I have a build in cupboard in the same room. My intention is to convert that cab into a flowering cab. Its has ample head room and sufficient size for up to 4 plants, which is OK for my needs. My intention is do scrog. The dilemma I was sitting with, was mobility of the plants once in scrog, for cab maintenance and cleaning. After trying various concepts I came up with the following design (scrog box). I am in the design phase. Odour control and headroom is main aim of this flower cab. Have a look at the attached and give input where you feel I can change things up a bit.

  10. Thats a swak one. Most unfortunate experience.
  11. Yeah, you can wet a towel too and park it in the side of your cab. More surface area the better.
  12. Nice update there. They are growing fantastic. Living soil FTW! Very interested to see how your grow progresses.

Yeah man, I know the feeling. I was going through the entire tournament with an indifferent attitude based on past tournaments. Somehow when things started heating up, I was like all up in there cheering them on, willing them to win. I was running like mad thing around in my office only to get the final blow that totally deflated me. That was all she wrote this time for our boys. [emoji22]

  20. hey wallis55, I think your assessment is correct, wrt over watering. I use the weigh method. I first let it dry completely and check the weight. Then I water accordingly. They will perk up again after the roots gets some oxygen. I have also noticed closer to their bed time they will start droop as if they getting ready for bed.
  21. I only use 2 sites. Torrentday - Is a private tracking site. its by invite only. Loads of seeders and tons of content. - I personally use uploader MsD for my series. Small in size and high in quality Kickass Torrents - Public site and non-private tracking. Also loads of seeders and tons of content. For movies I recommend YIFY. Small in size and high in quality.
  22. Yeah, Im a torrent junkie. I test drive all new series that comes out. Its a good watch. Episode 7 is out now.
  23. Hi all, I was wondering if any member has input on how to calculate N-P-K ratios. Most fertiser companies provide a generic feeding chart for the various stages of growth. Various strains consumes differently and I am currently experiencing that. I want to understand how to calculate the ratios to optimise the best possible feeding for my plants. I have read that the ratios below are optimsed for the various stages of growth. VEGETATIVE: Seedlings 2-1-2 Early Vegetative 4-2-3 Mid-Vegetative 10-5-7 FLOWERING: Cycle Changeover 7-7-7 Early Flowering 5-10-7 Mid-Flowering 6-15-10 Late Flowering 4-10-7 Using Nutriplex Trio as an example. Micro 5-0-1 Grow 2-1-6 Bloom 0-5-4 How would I adjust Nutriplex to achieve the various ratios. If someone could help out with the formula, it would be highly appreciated. Ill use the formula to setup an excel sheet to calculate.
