Hey guys! So @Jedi Messiah and I started growing a few plants around June this year, random bag seeds. Two of them already look like they are flowering, but I'm not cetrain because they but the one in particular seem very small. First picture is oldest and is pretty big, she was grown about 3 weeks before the second plant. Been very healthy and vibrant. Topped it and did LST, grown outdoors. Didn't give it much feed in the first month or two. But give it bionitro and bioneem once a week and water. Pic #2 and #3 are some of the what I think are preflowers? Then we have plant #2 (pic #4) the younger one, northern lights bagseed, this plant is 3 weeks younger than the first and i's only at about 15-20cm tall and maybe 10cm wide but very bushy and has a lot of also what I see to be preflowers ? Same feeding and water schedule. Pic #5 is a close up of its flowers. So my question is, is it starting to flower? If so, will it reveg when the daylight hours increase? And if we should stop foliar feeds and using neem if it's flowering? Thank's guys

need some help, germinating seeds seems to be going horribly wrong. some are completely fine, while other are just not doing much of anything, with the same method. we tried germinating 4 seeds, in cotton, on a plate with cling wrap over, 2 germinated fine, tap root came out, one has died since, put it in soil, and it just never came out of the shell, the other two have been in the cotton for just over a week now, with no growth. really not sure what we are doing wrong =/ tried the same method with bag seed, and not a single hiccup, all of them sprouted. any advice, please guys? considering throwing in the towel with growing. pics attached are of the two in the plate.

Hey guys, tried germinating my gorilla glue photo period I got from biltong and budz, germinate alongside a psychedelic, which showed the Tap root in less than 24 hours after the soak, already popped her in some soil, but the gorilla glue isn't showing a Tap root yet at all, 48 hour in cotton later, it did crack, quite significantly, but nothing else. Quite disappointing as I was mostly looking forward to growing that strain. Anything I can do? Should I wait a bit more and hope it bounces back, or just give up on her?

Indica‘s and hybrids in Joburgs climate.
MissMayhem replied to MissMayhem's question in General Questions & Answers
Was mainly just the heat. December the temperature sometimes hit 35, didn't know how they would handle it. Thanks man, appreciate the feedback guys. What forms of training do you guys use outdoors? Was thinking of just topping them, maybe some lst to bend the whole stem down and spread them out even more? Just not sure if it's necessary with indicas. Just don't want any tall plants peeking over the walls -
Indica‘s and hybrids in Joburgs climate.
MissMayhem posted a question in General Questions & Answers
Hey guys, does anyone have experience with growing indicas in a hot environment? Got our hands on some awesome strains from B&B when the relaunch specials were on. But in the excitement research wasn't done, and we got mostly indicas. 2x ananas funk. Stated as mold resistant, but it's mostly indica. 1x gorilla glue, also indica dominant 1x gorilla glue auto 1x psychedelic. Indica 1x bigger bud. Indica 1x northern lights. Indica 1x amnesia haze, probably the only sensible choice because it's like 95% sativa. All from bulk seed bank, germinated the GG and psychedelic, both seeds cracked in cotton, under a diy humidity dome. No tap root yet. Plan on growing them all in small 4l pots until they mature enough, then moving them straight into the garden. What can I do just to help indicas flourish a bit more in the warmer days to come? Any training I should consider implementing? Thank for any advice guys. Happy growing -
There weren't any on the leaves, just in the soil. Think they might be soil mites. Couldn't take pictures of them, camera won't focus on anything that small

If they aren't a real problem, should I consider leaving them as bait for good critters? Would prefer to do less and let nature take care of it and step in when I have to. On a side note, when moving the soil to look for larvae, I found what appeared to be reddish mites or something. Looked like arachnids of some sort.

I actually have some karbadust from when my dog had fleas. How would I go about applying it?

After some more investigation, I think it's gnats. Found a couple of winged aphids and they looked completely different. Seems we have a bit of a pest problem. Don't have any companion plants, or plants thb, just grass. Bio diversity is awful, looking at other put door grows, I feel sad for my plants. . I have my plant in the ground, not pots. Did some reading and think I will water less and do a neem drench when she's dry. The neem really isn't doing much with the pest problems though.

Is Jamie's garden neem oil good for that? How do we go about getting rid of them?

hey guys, keep finding these weird winged bugs on my plants, assuming they might be female aphids with wings, as I found a small green bug too, too small to get focus on it with the camera. also some black spotting on a few leaves. I've been using bio neem from Jaimes, first spray was around 3ml/L, increased it to 5ml, sprayed the leaves at sunset 3 times in the last 5 days, but these bugs persist. clears up for a day after the neem, but the neem doesn't seem too effective. any ideas or suggestions? thanks guys, appreciate any input first pics are of the bugs, last one is the black spotting.

We planted this little girl (hopefully) about 10 weeks ago. only got nutes late last week and growth is going a tad better. the leaves have gone a lighter shade of green though? we did top her last week, may have been too soon. does she look okay? pulled our male that was growing the fastest, and this one doesn't seem to be developing balls (as of yet). first picture is from about a week ago, without any nutrients, second is from a few hours ago, topped her and fed. last one is a close up, but screwed up the focus, so its shite.

Joints, edibles, really interested in learning different extractions and different ways to consume/smoke. Looking forward to trying a few things out with our next harvest.

Hey guys, planning an organic grow, out doors, in pots though. Going with FF soil and biobizz. All the organic growers out there, which nutes do you use, and what additives? Been doing some reading about biobizz grow and fishmix, and I'm stuck on which to get, new to growing, and I've read that the fishmix can be a bit more forgiving, some do both, but got conflicting reports about it leading to possible nitrogen toxicity? Which do you use, and why? Any input is appreciated.

I've been to two of the cannapax shops, one on witkoppen and another in northcliff. The service and product at witkoppen was very decent, The other was not up to the same standard, weed was not great. Overall, I don't agree with the business because it does seem dodgy and they seem to be pushing their luck, which might cause new firmer laws in regard to marijuana use, distribution etc. Capitalism trying to get their hands on the weed community. Also found they weren't very knowledgeable as far as even a rough estimation on thc content and cbd, which seems important for a dispensary especially if it is being used to help for pain and other medical ailments.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, I saw there was a poll on the local seed banks but a few of the sites were down and some were great. I'm just looking for some variety on a pick n mix batch of about 3 different high thc strains. Feminized. Can anyone suggest any decent places and nice very high the strains? I've been thinking of buying from cannasmiths, biltong n budz or greensmokeroom. Have some nice strains, decent prices and sell individual seeds, Looking at royal gorilla, Jack herer, utopia haze, Durban poison Jackys girl on gsr sounds amazing, a touch out of my price for one seed. Any local strains that are especially good in our climate? Is there anything I should watch out for with any of the local seed banks? Any and all feed back appreciated :)
