  1. I bought my 240w QB from Alibaba. Paid just under 3k with duties(I did ask the supplier to make the invoice slightly less but the customs fees were still 40%) Just check reviews of suppliers, my "Samsung Lm301" diodes were not Samsung (confirmed with a local company) but I can't really complain when paying $135 for a 240w
  2. I used efecto Oleum in early Veg as a drench seemed to help when I had some unknown bug.
  3. AQSF and Potassium Bicarbonate is my go to! Had 2 mini winter harvest without any mildew problems which I experienced before.

Day 18 update. The canopy is way too full! The Crescendo on the left is looking the best in terms of overall health. The Headbanger in the middle is not too bad either just too many tops wich I removed some to increase light penatration. The Jet Fuel Gelato seems abit more hungry than the rest and stretched right under the light and showed some heat stress but nothing too concerning. I'll stick to 4 plants or not scrog if grow more again. Also growing remotely since flower so not being able to do daily maintenance is not ideal for me. I did a big defoliation and supercrop after the pictures so hopefully they will bounce back.
  5. Check Facebook market place as well. I got my dehumidifier 24lt Midea for R1200 from someone leaving the country. Been using it more than a year already.

@Naughty.Psychonautfor interest sake the clones showed roots on the 4th of May. Its an interesting one as I've had clones that took longer than 2 weeks to root. Then you get guys with turbo cloners that can root within a week so there's so many variations.

@Naughty.Psychonautthose are valid points, and the clones were rooted before transplanting. I only started counting when I got them and planted them in. I agree with @PsyCLownthat if it was a competition on days of growth or something like that the date of cutting is important. I'm not trying to fool anyone with the days of veg, it's just how I keep track. With seed I count from the day it popped up from the medium.

Thanks man. Yeah the growth has been great, it's my 1st time using Salt Based Nutrients so I think it might be that is speeding up my Veg. Excited to see how they will be in flower.

Another little update... I installed Blumats and a resvior about 3 weeks ago as I'll be away from my grow for a few days at a time, so I've been trying to tune it in(not that easy) I think I finally got it more or less but I've noticed 1 plant looking hungry and the dripper was slightly blocked so will have to check that regularly. The growth has been good so far, I might of just topped the Headbanger one too many times so light penetration is not that great but I've tried to defoliate abit. I still have the "bite" mark problem but it's not every where and I've kind of given up on trying to find out what it is. I've had some preditor mites on for the past week as well just as extra protection. I flipped to 12/12 on Monday so waiting to see how much they will stretch in the next 2 weeks.
  10. My first 'proper' run in my 1,2x1,2x2m tent and I managed to get 240g of dried trimmed buds and about 100g popcorn. Only have a 420w. Your conditions are going to have to be on point.
  11. I have not but I will do a check again today. I've been using Blumats for about 2 weeks now aswel but noticed it before the Blumat.
  12. @PsyCLown its mostly my front 3 plants. But do notice some on the back 2 plants.
  13. How did you identify air at the root zone and what did you do to fix it?
  14. I'm not sure if they are or not? I am growing in Coco and Perlite (CannaPro) and using Mega Solutions with Silicon and Amino boost. Ph is always between 5.6-6.0
  15. It would say it's different spots each day. I started removing the damage leaves to notice if they spread and it did. The ones I left didn't get bigger "bites"
  16. What's up fam! Im having some issues with these unknown bite marks on my leaves. I checked all my plants and cleaned out my tent and can't find any worms(which I suspect) or any big bugs that can do that type of damage. I haven't noticed any droppings on leaves either. I've tried Pyrol and Eco Buzz Larvae Pro but hasn't seem to help much as I noticed more damage. Does anyone have any ideas or possibilities to what it can be or how to treat? Thanks!
  17. @FridgeI use a similar method but put the consol jar in the instant pot which works like a beast.

24 days later and plants are not looking too bad. I had a slight bug problem but got some preditor mites for 2 weeks then sprayed Pyrol as an extra measure. I added the 1st net this week. The 2 Crescendo are on the left, they are stocky with shorter internode spacing while the Jet Fuel Gelato on the right is way more stretchy with longer internode spacing. The Headbanger in the middle is similar to the Crescendo. I will probably flip in the next 2 weeks depending on how they look. Looking to add Blumats for auto watering but not sure yet.
  20. Not in Helderberg, was in Northern Suburbs, but I saw a few other stores on Facebook advertising.
  21. A few stores in the Cape Region got some preditor mites in this week. I picked up some today for R30 and R20 a pack I noticed some Thrips 2 days ago. So will see how they work.

So I decided to put in the Headbanger from @Dr. Greenin she's in some Atami Cocos with added perlite. This is going to be a sour one!
  23. Yeah his shop is in Somerset West, but the Elemental blend cost about R180 for 10l bag which treats a 100lt of soil. I got mine at a different grow store as I'm not near to his store.
  24. I agree the elemental blend is great! I used a bag for my 100lt pot and she bounced back great. Jamie is in Cape Town, but there's a few stores that sell the Elemental Blend.
