I must agree here. Start with quality soil and seeds from your first grow. I am busy on my first grow and nearly got disheartened by seeds that didn't germinate. @Mambawana and @PsyCLown among others steered me in the right direction and I have a happy plant well into flower (growing in a very confined space). You don't want to struggle from the get go with inadequate soil. Would make growing more of a chore than a rewarding hobby.

The secret jarden ds tents look great, apart from the plastic corner connections for the tubes. Anybody have issues with them breaking?

Calling all indoor growers that house their ladies in a grow tent. I'm in the market for a tent and wondering which would best suit my needs. There is an abundance of options available with regards to size, number of vents/ports, spill tray etc. I want to hear what factors influenced your decision to buy the tent you are currently using? Are you happy with your purchase or wish you had bought something else? Anything else you can add to the subject of grow tents? I am leaning towards a 60x120 tent for 2 plants. I see companies advertise 100x100 tents can do 4 plants but I feel that would get very cramped with some LST? I currently have 1 plant in a 70x55 grow area and space is becoming an issue. Looking for advice on purchasing the right tent first time.

I plan on doing this with my next grow. Curious where/when you would use the epsom salts?

I know biobizz has a feeding schedule for FF soil. Not sure if it would carry over to GHE.

Thanks guys. Luckily all my seeds are in sealed breeder packs. Just to be on the safe side, I placed them in a container with rice and left it in the back of the bedding cupboard under all the sheets. Wont see the light of day till someone pulls it out.

Following this with interest. Really keen to see your harvest on the Charlotte's Angel. Do you find CBD high strains to be any different growing, compared to THC dominant strains?

Are you buying a board or strips? I would just get the strips and some aluminium U channel. You have the freedom to custom build it to the size you want. You can even add in some different spectrum strips in between.

I'm growing an auto so not a train smash for me. I just remove the timer when there is load shedding and let eskom dictate the dark period. My plant actually gets more light when there is load shedding as I run my timer 20/4 but load shedding is only 2 hours. Ironic...lol.

Are you wanting an active or passive heatsink?

Also you can DIY your own heat sink at a fraction of the cost they sold for. Heat sinks get very expensive when you go beyond the small standard sizes.

@420SA that is usually how I ride, but for the roof I probably wouldn't.

@Bospatrollie2 that's exactly what I tell my wife. She cant understand why I wake up at 5am on a sunday to go torture myself in the bush for 6 hours.

I have a 2016 KTM 300 2T, but have not ridden since March. Tore my rotator cuff when I high sided coming down a pass. I am currently stuck in a toss up between doctors bills or a grow tent lol.
