I too would love to know.

Looking good bru. Out of interest, where did you get that watering attachment for the 2L bottle?

What Equipment/tools do I need (outdoor)?
Bakstein420 replied to StonerZN's topic in Starting Your Own Grow
@felix2000 i can tell you why i never ended up getting the air pots. I did some research on them and found 2 deal breakers. Some of your medium is prone to run out the holes when watering. And the holes on the pot allow gnats easy access to wet soil. Can imagine a fungus gnat infestation in all those little holes would be near impossible to get rid of. -

Would you mind sharing who? I had to get mine from JHB. -
Did you ever get your beans?
-
Also I would be doing you an injustice if I didn't get @Prom involved, he gets some consistently solid yeilds with autos. Although he focuses more on feeding and lighting as apposed to training.
-
You will get conflicting responses on both questions. The thing with an auto is you want to avoid stressing the plant to the point that it needs a recovery period. I grew an auto from GSR, my first ever proper grow in a "spacetote". I transplanted and then LST'd the shit out of that poor plant, resulting plant at harvest. Sadly I lost most of the main colas to bud rot. I am now growing a fastbuds C4 which I started in its final pot and did no training. It might be strain related or could probably even be grower fault, but I rate LST at the very least.

Eish, remember those as a youngster. The thorns gave you a horrible itchy wound.

Nicely done bru. Looks like that gap between the wall and tree was made for a jojo tank fits perfectly.

Best South African Seedbank 2020 - Version 2.0

Happy days bru, glad you finally got something. -
Looks like a nice pen. I use a cheap bidorbuy ph pen, not the greatest and needs to be calibrated often. You could also use the drops, its cheap but can be abit time consuming.

What the actual fuck... -
I rate it is some feral creature from the mountains. Could be your cat, wild cat, neighbour's cat or even possibly a dassie. Put a cage around her, as per @Stinger96 suggestion.

@PsyCLown gonna flip this weekend. @CreX yeah I never had much of a choice, bank account was bleek after lock down. Hopefully nothing major goes wrong in flower. I have epsom salts and they are due for a feeding either tomorrow or Saturday, will see how the pots feel.

Quick update on the Ethos ladies. I have reached my desired number of mains (a little extra on the one) and will be switching to flower this weekend. Banana Daddy has been a pleasure to mainline. She bounces back from topping and takes LST like a champ. Zour Apple however has been a little more delicate. She does not enjoy being topped and I managed to snap a main during LST (no biggie, just means an extra cola). Also split the main intersection on the Zour Apple. Strange though as the split is 90 degrees to where you normally see it.

If there is a healthy root then transplant the ones that have popped. Leave the others to see if they germinate but make sure the paper towel is never dry. Some seeds take longer.

From the fastbuds website: Plant Appearance Some plants can grow as tall as 150cm meaning Original Auto Amnesia Haze is one of the taller autoflowering strains available. She will grow with large spacing between her internodes, and over the flowering period will develop a bushy, yet tall growth structure typical of a sativa dominant strain. The stretch is totally natural bro, don't stress it.

I understand, makes the parts very specialized depending on size etc.

I think it is so cool that they let you pick where your in/outlet ports etc go. And they don't just give you the plastic fittings/socks and expect you to hack up the tent with a Stanley knife, they give you a proper tool to cut the hole. Then if you decide later that you made the dam hole in the wrong place, they offer patches. Don't know why this hasn't caught on with other tent manufacturers.

Those bud box tents do look really nice @PsyCLown

I asked a similar question a while back and the guys seem to love the Secret Jardin tents.
