Was just rumminging through some old boxes and found this picture. I think this Pic was taken around 2000. How is that tree in the background, 13ft plus? And the game in the background was from cannabis culture, designed and developed by Dana Larsen from Canada. He was also one of the foreigners who took Durban Poison back over the seas to Canada.

Quite a funny story. I did not have a drivers license then, but managed to fill a carboot of harvested stems. Took it home, dear mothers car was reeking. So spoke with a local rasta I knew, he quick dried them on his zinc roof. We hit some bottle necks and joints of good homegrown, and then I got busted again.

Grew my first plant in 1994, a "biology experiment", actually tried to grow it under a light. Busted by my mother, I moved the plant to a mates place, got busted by his mother too, but did manage to harvest the plant. It was my first successful harvest. I think i might have started growing earlier than that,I did try and grow some weed in braamfontein spruit next to REEA nursery, just below their compost heaps. When I was still at school an older mate rented a cottage with a mini hothouse in it, there were about 50 seedlings in there before he even got his bed into the cottage. Indoor growing, I think my festish was growing in ceilings though, started around 2000, lots of places in JHB have wooden planks in their ceilings for my grow room. I think I started that around 2002.

Bought a couple single seeds from Quickbuyngrow.co.za, brand was Mutant Genetics. Scored blue cheese, gelato and cream caramel. Never heard of them before and giving them as a present to a friend of mine looking to grow fire.

Good on you to share this news @ORGANinc.. Its damn important news, sometimes obvious, like government dragging its heels. Thats a real f-up especially for all these new clubs that have popped up everywhere, however I think their models are based more on privacy than cannabis, so possibly business as usual even if clubs are not considered in the bill. This is BS, as FOGFA represent our rights and have put huge resources into the cannabis manifesto. I hope the corrupt powers dont steal their work and use it for themselves. Like @Totemic says, overgrow the government.

That is lekker @Bos, exactly what I wanted to do. Zero updates. Run out of zol too......... But the garden is coming along slowly. With the water issues we been having we had to focus all attention on the tunnel and cash cabbage crop we been growing. Do have a couple chilli plants growing. I think its Ethiopian brown, cherry peppers and birds eye.

The congo footage will take sometime to release, its an interesting fringe independent project that some guys are doing. Pondoland will start being published this coming month. They sitting around my kitchen table right now discussing it. Going to ask them if I can upload something for ya all.

Hey, sorry yes, unreleased. The first episode should be released sometime December, and there will be 3 episodes in total. We watched 1st episode on Sunday in a barn, on a broken projector, bad sound, with about 10 or so stoners. Grungy. Funny enough, this morning my farm is like a strain hunters HQ, we going through amazing Congo footage at the moment. Making movies.

Sadly today has been cancelled, however tomorrow will be groovy. We have two seasoned speakers talking about cannabis and at 3pm we will be watching the unreleased StrainHunters Pondoland experience. More information found here.

Sounds about right. All of this sounds like marketing hype to me. The story I understand from a respected cannabis grower and horticulturist is the original "hitler" was stolen in flower form, renamed. Around the time of when people say it was reaching market was the time a big bust happened in CT. The original was Elvis x CT Exodus cheese, the guy who originally grew it was not a breeder, no clones. Happy hunting unicorns. Shitty name too for 6000000 reasons. That narrows it down.

Got goofed yesterday and pretended to do some work and created a little music/info video for a cannabis community member. Light it up, drop buds not bombs.

Howdy 420sa Hosting a cannabis event next weekend, 27th and 28th, Bathurst, Eastern Cape. Saturday is chilled and in conjunction with Bathurst Showgrounds Family day.
